Beck Meets the Woman Who Found His Father’s Coat

On Friday’s Glenn Beck program on the Fox News Channel, Glenn told the remarkable story of a happenstance discovery.  It’s the story of an old coat that belonged to his father and how the long-lost coat was recently found.  He weaves the story of the coat throughout the first segment of the program.  We are introduced to the woman who found it around the 15:00 mark in this first clip:

      Wow, I looked at your site and read about your friend.
      Great painting, I too am an artist.
      I was a long way from NYC that day but every moment is part of my Psyche. I had been in the restaurant in 88 and it was a thrill to look down at the Brooklyn Bridge looking like it was part of an HO train set.

    Great story i am proud of the way they both showed how it’s done .She isn‘t feeling sorry for herself shes a single parent who didn’t choose abortion and is trying to do it on her own that i am sure will draw hatred from the left .They will attack her and glenn and any one who thinks this is a heart warming story that came about because two people had devinely inspired goodness in their lives.

    My heart goes out to this woman something fierce. When Beck held up the sign with her store web address and entertained us, you could hear her modesty and humbleness. You didn’t have to see her face and her microphone was still live. It’s not something you hear all the time and may God bless that woman and her daughter from this day forward!

    This Story is so awesome… These things happen every day. What it represents to Beck must be deeply personal. What I see is reassurance from his Dad that Hes so proud of his son, and that hes doing the right thing, To serve as a reminder that no mater how tall your tower gets, never be in your tower as the people you have awoken knock at the base. This is what Glenns enemies want and this is a reminder that staying around the foundation is where its at.
    And as for the gal… This kind of Humility and selflessness i what Americans are..Period.
    See the lefties dont believe goodness cannot be legislated… Free Market coupled with goodness is the solution. being successful is the vehicle that drives charity…When you earn it, it matters more, and you want to spread that prideful sense in other, its a self inspiring system…She is a class act and Im thankful Glenn featured this on his show. I like the positive vibe stories… that show how it all just works.

    Glen Beck is doing something better than most or perhaps all others, he is EXPOSING the corruption in Washington DC (Barack Obama), AND he is publicly exposing the evil Dr. No Good (George Soros). Of course this makes the Left Wing socialists get their panties all in a wad, this is why old George Soros is using his resources to continue to buy the souls of NPR, MSNBC, and more to hammer Glen Beck. Too bad for these cockroaches, its just not going to work anymore America is wide-eyed awake and even socialists like Bill and Chilllary Clinton can not bamboozle the public anymore. We the People are coming so you bad boys and girls just better watch out because We the People are coming after you and its not going to be a pretty sight. Hooyah for America and Glen Beck!       I think we Ban things from our own homes.. History proves time and time again when trying to legislate morality , the real immoral act is in the attempt to do so. Obviously Id love to see your evidence of this. As wild as this may sound, were watching everyone, including Glenn, because he waned us of selling out the soul. Hes as human as the next guy… except…. I say make all the money you can Glenn and keep paying forward as we all are. Well continue to build the connective network so good can sew its warming antidote of peaceful society under God.

    This is on of those stories that shows that not everybody is out to make a buck or take advantage of someone else. She did the right thing and asked for nothing in return. We need more like her in this world.

    I hope this woman realizes all her dreams. She is a shining example of the good people in the USA, who are unselfish in bringing joy to others. Glenn, must be thrilled to have a family memento,which was returned to him in a round about way, and in a gracious act of charity by a woman he didn’t know.

    This was a great story…what a giving woman who is struggling to get on top of her life and thought so much of someone else. Glenn was so thankful and I’m sure the memories in that coat will always be with him. The fact that his dead mother made it and sewed hearts inside was wonderful. What a gift!

      Glenn … as someone who has sewn nearly all my life … I would like to say that I think your mom did a GREAT job on the coat … I am so glad that you have gotten back such an important part of your family history. The lady did the right thing returning it and that is always the best thing for the person who does it!
