Beck on the Global Caliphate a Year Later: ‘If I’m Wrong, We Bought Extra Food…If They’re Wrong, We Die’

He was called “paranoid” and “conspiratorial” when he spent the last six months of his Fox News-hosted broadcast warning the nation about the ramifications of a pending global Islamic caliphate. He was incessantly mocked for informing Americans about the importance of emergency preparedness. Still, Glenn Beck felt it imperative to lay bare the dangers that lie ahead and said he’d “rather be called a kook and be alive” than bury his head in the sand “and be dead.”

During Thursday’s episode of The Glenn Beck Program, Glenn reviewed the past year and explained why he predicted the rise of a global caliphate accelerated by the onset of the Arab Spring — a prediction, Glenn reminds, that was “ruthlessly mocked.”
Those who want to restore an Islamic caliphate “are succeeding” as, according to Glenn, the mainstream media along with the Obama administration are dubbing them “moderate Islamists.”
“The media has become a danger to mankind,” Glenn said pointedly as he played clips of the many atrocities carried out by members of this “moderate community” that the media has failed to report on. We will suffer the “consequences of their arrogance and stupidity,” he added.
What happens to those who live under extreme Islamic rule? If you live an alternative lifestyle — in other words, you are a homosexual, or have committed adultery, or perhaps only engaged in premarital sexual relations –”you’re dead,” Glenn stated.
“That’s not hyperbole!”
Glenn reminded viewers of a horrific incident in Saudi Arabia where 15 young school girls were made to perish in a burning building as the country’s religious police barred them from leaving the inferno. The reason these innocent children were not permitted to leave a burning building? They were not wearing their Islamic head scarves.
If you’re Jewish or Christian, “you’re dead,” or, if you’re thought to be a Jewish reporter — as was the case with CBS correspondent Lara Logan – “they rape you” and if people aren’t around to stop it, “you’re dead!”
Glenn also made note of CNN‘s absurdity in blurring out the images of Logan’s rapists when the network aired a report about the incident, thus protecting the identity of the reporter’s assailants.
Glenn takes us on a tour of the Middle East and Arab Spring and warns: ”If I’m wrong, we bought extra food. If they’re [media/administration] wrong, we die.”

Beck was the only one who was warning us that the “Arab Spring” might not turn out as the Mainstream Media was reporting it. Then the recent elections in Egypt showed that 75% of the winners of for the Egyptian Parliament were from the Muslim Brotherhood and the ultra conservative Salafi party, both are anti-Western groups. Libya is now in control of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafis. The same thing in Tunisia.
So, so far Beck has been right about that…and his critics have been wrong…NEXT.

He/She is entitled to his/her opinion and I don’t give a crap one way or the other. I listen to and watch Glenn Beck and that’s my decision. Do I believe everything he says? Of course not. What I was proud of is that he had all the video of the media praising the Arab Spring when even I knew how bad this actually was going to go. A year ago the Government was about to seize your land and your guns, conservatives were going to be put into FEMA concentration camps. President Obama was about to become an absolute dictatorship and elections would be cancelled. And whatever else. Better buy stuff, including gold.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. The world was about to end three years ago. It was about to end two years ago too and a year ago. It’s about to end now. Guess what? It’ll be about to end a year from now, and the world will be about to end two years from now too!
But if you invest your money in gold (I have a reliable company to recommend!), buy seeds and get guns and you’ll be fine. Buy stuff to prepare for the end of times, don’t worry about sending your kids to college. But please, please, make sure everything has a long shelf life.

A farmer’s wife caught a couple of braves robbing eggs in her henhouse. She shooed them off. When they returned, she was the first of over 500 settlers killed (we have no idea how many indians were killed in the Dakota Conflict, but 38 were hung). When the government fails its promises, it is innocents on both sides that die. If only that farmer’s wife had just given them some eggs… and some apples or potatoes to boot, it could have ended very differently.

I took a trip down to Galveston recently, for the first time in about ten years, and what did I see, but a nice, big mosque now sitting on the main street right in the middle of town, and Muslims have now moved in all over the place. This is happening everywhere, and only a very naive person would think it’s not happening for a reason.

I was watching Glenn’s show a couple of weeks ago when they showed the decapitated bodies (before they warned us they were going to show them) I didnt want to see anything “graphic”.
I dont need to see the “graphic content” to believe it. I‘ll just read about it and hope I dont accidentally see an image that I’m not prepared to see.

I planted my garden this week, we happen to enjoy eating food that we grow. I will can a lot of it, give some of it to neighbors who have fallen on hard times.
Our family likes to camp, we have an RV and tents, backpacks and sleeping bags for backwoods trips and dehydrated food is nice and light to carry.
We like to hunt, it is a cheap way to cut down on the grocery bill.
I have always enjoyed sewing, making quilts and clothes for the kids. Each kid has a baby quilt, a graduation quilt and a marriage quilt that they get at various times of their lives, it is amongst thier most prized posessions.
We like to learn new skills here like machine repair, welding, construction, electrical and plumbing it has proven very profitable as our home has increased in value 50% since the housing bubble burst in 2008.
The solar water heater cuts our electric bill in half. Next up the solar well pump.
Please explain how doing any of these things is “stupid” or pointless.

You are correct, he is not my friend nor is he my enemy. I have never met the man, only listened and watched.
In my years training in psychology, one of the things we learned to do was read people beyond normal intuition; there are words they use, how they put together sentances, involuntary eye movements, facial expressions, how they hold their hands, how they turn their heads, lips, eyebrows and even the changes in syllabic emphasis to tell what people are thinking but not saying.
I have used this training with success to help my husband manage and motivate dificult employees at work that I have never talked to but have observed. You can claim Beck is a fraud, but my training says otherwise.

Report Post »Solar powered well pumps can be found on the net, I won’t direct you to one particular site, but they require an external storage tank as they are a trickle system. The really large ranches out here use them for irrigation of livestock. Because we sometimes get oil in our water we have a large holding tank for our house water already, so it is a viable system for us to use.

Report Post »One more thing on the solar system that I forgot to mention, unless you live on a property where a gravity fed system (AKA your well water container is positioned up a significant hill from your home) you will need a jet pump to bring the water into the home as well. Unless you are north of Tampa, or willing to build a large tower (gotta love Florida‘s HOA’s), I don’t know that it would work for you.

Living in Florida, sometimes you got a 24 hour notice that a cat 4 was headed your way. Sometimes it was 5 or more days afterwards before the water receded enough to drive out of your neighborhood. Shelves were empty of food, batteries, water, in a matter of hours once the warning was issued. Sewers backed up, water was contaminated, and the flood water was filled with flotillas of fire ants and poisonous snakes

Lived in Iowa when the Mississippi overflowed its banks, as did most of the other rivers. Sometimes people were cut off from getting out within minutes of being given evacuation orders and stranded for days.
Last year here in Texas, some people who had been told they were safe, were later told (due to shifting winds) they had 30 seconds to evacuate their homes; they got out with their children, some of their pets and the clothes on their backs.
There is not a place in this country that is unaffected by emergency situations where extra food, a go bag, and at least one alternate source of potable water is not prudent.
If you don’t do at least this much, you are a fool playing Russian Roulette.

Report Post »I live in Colorado Springs, 2 years after 9-11, they busted a cell that was planning an attack on Peterson AFB. They were attending a local mosque that had been here for years. A year ago they busted that guy in Denver and tracked it back to a cell operating out of one of the local mosques. These are events that don’t make the news, but if they were Christians plotting to blow something up, it would be 24/7 coverage.
