Beck Reveals Details of Joint Event With FreedomWorks Taking Place on September 15

Glenn Beck wants Americans of all ages, races and creeds to be a part of what he dubs the next great movement. He has also been vocal in his desire to turn “TheBlaze” into a “verb” — a catalyst that moves people to action when they encounter injustice.
During his Wednesday evening broadcast, Beck announced that on September 15th, TheBlaze will partner with FreedomWorks for an event in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In addition, FreedomWorks will offer a “boot camp” training session on how to help maximize voter turnout in ever-crucial swing states (like Ohio). Beck believes in the importance of the event and training session because conservatives are typically so busy with work, family and other responsibilities that they often have little time to learn the ins and outs of grassroots organizing.
Below is Beck’s message along with a link to purchase tickets:
“We told you a while ago that we were working hard to make GBTV a verb,” Glenn said. “That changing the world meant that we couldn’t be satisfied sitting on our couches eating Fritos and yelling at the television. We have to be more involved than that.”
“You’ve seen some of what we have been planning over the past few years. After Obama’s election the mainstream media was claiming that the conservative movement was over, and that the Republican party was about to become just a regional party.”
“James Carville wrote a book about how democrats wouldn’t lose another election for 40 years. And he would have been right if it wasn’t for you.”
“The American people woke up, the Tea Party and the 9-12 project exploded, and the republicans won in a landslide in 2010. But, not just any Republicans. A new breed of Republican who actually cared about principals. When Paul Ryan first introduced his budget plan in 2008 – it only got 8 co-sponsors and never made it out of committee. This year, it passed the House, with well over 200 votes, and Ryan is on the presidential ticket.”
“On September 15th, this network will partner with Freedomworks for an event in Cincinnati, Ohio where some amazing things will happen. First, Freedomworks will be training you on how to help maximize voter turnout in crucial states like Ohio. Conservatives aren’t good at this naturally. We have jobs. We have families. We like to live our lives. But, this election is far too important to sit back. Freedomworks will teach you how to turn passion and principles into votes.”
“And secondly, I will be speaking at the event and I will unveil a project that will empower us all and, I believe, will revolutionize the grassroots movement for freedom. Just like Steve Jobs used to do with Apple products, we’re getting a giant screen and we are going to show you exactly how to turn the tide.”
Glenn said that while the movement of peace and freedom has covered everything from culture to faith to politics, this event would be focused firmly on the election.
“This is a call to all people who want to be the boots on the ground in the war of ideas,” Glenn said. We know the most effective places to convince people to vote. We know how to get them to listen. Freedomworks has done all of that groundwork for us. We will put you in the position to positively effect this election and right the ship for America. And we’ll do it in a way that’s not dependent on the parties.”

Sounds a like Pelosi. ” You have to pass the bill to see what’s in it”. Also, what exactly was “ Hope ” and “ Change ” in 2008 anyway? Please try harder not to reveal the Dem’s own flaws!

Posted on August 16, 2012 at 1:04pmWell no need to wonder if the Super PACs, right wing talking heads, Republicans and its large donors are coordinating their efforts anymore. As though anyone with a brain didn’t know that. Really sad that money and access can be used to spread an agenda under the guise of truth. And so much for the god centered christians claiming the higher moral ground, when they support super PACs that flat out lie in ad after ad.

How about a DVD of the last T-shirt event, Restoring T-shirt Sales? Gosh, I’m on a fixed income and my medicine is quite expensive. and with food prices the way they are, gracious, there’s always a little bit more month than there is money. But if Glenn says I should do this and be there and help his cause, I’m in!

These guys are good at getting the vote out. First things first we have got to stop this mad man in the White House. We need everybody we can get to help us. This is not just another election this is for all the marbles. I hope you can see your way clear to help us. I understand where you are coming from I re-read your post the other night and can see where your coming from. I know your family has paid the supreme sacrifice for our country. Posted on August 15, 2012 at 10:57pmWhat freedom? The freedom to be ridiculed for not watching sports; or the freedom to be thought to be a nut-job if you don’t have a TV? Maybe you mean the freedom to be thought to be unstable if someone has too much passion in their tone? Maybe you mean the freedom to work a swing-shift job, unless someone has a college degree and then they can work in a cubicle 40hrs per week or more with other miserable people. Maybe you mean the freedom to have your own children tell parents how it’s gonna be because the parents are afraid of the court system. No, you’re all captive in Babylon – there isn’t no freedom.

This is a Freedom Works fundraiser that costs $20.
Glenn Beck may or may not be speaking for a fee.
Seeing Mr. Beck cry in person is not worth the money, even with the promised big screen. There’s plenty of videos of him crying that are better. Sort of like watching football on tv: it’s better with the close-ups.

Their SOLE OBJECTIVE is to PRESERVE LEFTIST ESTABLISHMENT GOP and SMOTHER ANY, ANY momentum toward (A) Ron Paul and/or (B) third parties like the WELL-ESTABLISHED Constitution Party. They have, along with FAKE-TEA/FAKE-conservative/FAKE-libertarian Glenn Beck, mislead many naive Americans into VOLUNTARILY supporting LEFTIST REPUBLICANS, by using the tried and true “better evil” SCAM. Or… more specifically… the ol’ “at least he’s not a communist” gibberish – which is JUST ANOTHER VERSION of the “better evil” SCAM.

Posted on August 15, 2012 at 11:01pmI just gave their site a quick glance because I really don‘t know what it’s all about. I browsed the blog topics, and missing was anything to do with our civil liberties or wars. There was something about internet privacy, and it‘s not like the stuff they’re supporting isn’t a good thing, it‘s just the two things that matter to me most just aren’t being discussed. It blows my mind. During the past decade we’ve seen the several amendment just taking away, and it’s like taboo to talk about it. I’m not hearing any of the liberty movement leaders talking about them, so suspicious tbh. We’ve already seen the Tea Party co-opted or split or whatever you want to call it. Is this an attempt to do the same to the Liberty Movement? It just seems weird that something called freedom works isn’t actually working to restore freedom.

Posted on August 15, 2012 at 11:31pmGreat observations, justangry. You’ll also notice a COMPLETE ABSENCE an anything concerning the illegal alien invasion (another CORE issue of the REAL Tea Party). You can view ANY LOCALIZED Tea Party (NOT the FAKE-TEA GOP nationalized groups Tea Party Express or FreedomWorks), and you’ll notice if ANYONE mentions illegal immigration, THE CROWD GOES NUTS! But FAKE-TEA GOP groups LOVE illegal immigration, so they SMOTHER and SILENCE the issue.
You’ll also notice the NAUSEATING, ENDLESS DRONING of “Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it, Obama did it,” which is a propaganda STAPLE of LEFTIST Establishment GOP… NOT THE CONSTITUTIONAL LIBERTARAIN TEA PARTY!!!!!!

Posted on August 16, 2012 at 1:37am@Silas, It doesn’t matter now, but RP’s way is for Washington to obey the Constitution. I don’t understand what is wrong with that. I’ve thought this long before I knew who RP was. All the way back to win Clinton signed the Republicans’ Brady Bill. I’d gladly support Mitt if I knew he would honestly govern within the confines of the presidential oath. It’s much more about the founders than RP (well T.Jefferson and J. Madison) Why do you think Romney won’t budge on civil liberties?

If you think freedom works is fake let’s see their stance on illegal immigration. Can I have their official website statement? hmmmm. If you want people to believe you, you need facts, evidence! You and Isread lack polls, voting record etc. I want EVIDENCE! From what I’ve seen the Tea Party is against illegal immigration.
Lastly, I would like to say while I don’t like the establishment GOP there is a huge difference between the democrats and republicans. If their views were really hte same they would not hate each other so much. Can you explain that brother why do that hate each other so much if they are the same? hmmm. Maybe a few similarities but that’s a big stretch from being identical. My political science professor last year and I agree with him that the parties are growing much further apart which is why things are always so deadlocked in Congress. IF they had similarity idealogies there would be no deadlock or at least not as much. Can you please explain these? Stuff like this is what you lack to make people believe you. I love Ron Paul’s stances on many things, but I still believe he has 0 chance of winning.
