Beck Reviews Obama’s Three-Plus ‘Years of Lies’

On his Friday morning radio broadcast, troubled by the recent Supreme Court ruling to uphold Obamacare, Glenn Beck reviewed the president’s three-and-half “years of lies,” beginning with his failed vow to close Guantanamo Bay detention center.
Obama promised the American people he would rid the halls of Washington of lobbyists, yet appointed several to high-ranking positions within his own administration, he also promised to half the deficit in his first term — another declaration that went unfulfilled.
“This is not about bashing Obama, but about presenting facts to the American people,” Beck stated plainly.
Of course the most egregious instance of a broken promise came when Obama promised he would not raise taxes on the middle class, yet his Obamacare “mandate,“ now ruled a ”tax” by the highest court in the land, results in the the most “massive tax increase in U.S. history” and directly affects the middle class.
“The IRS is now the most powerful arm of the federal government,” Beck said.

Like good teachers fleeing Pub. Ed, Good Doctors won’t stay in the system with the abuse, red tape, over work, no-win situations. Anyone with money will hire a Private doctor or service. Like choosing a proven private university, or the run down crappy performing State college, who comes away better served? The the Democrats will blame the “rich” because by going outside the system for Cancer care, they are seen as robbing the public system of good doctors or resources. Just like they wanted me to put my kid in a school known for a 60% drop out rate, gang warfare, and failing academic standards, they are going to want me to wait 6 months for a cancer biopsy and be satisfied when my state doctor says, sorry, but I‘m sure a MRI isn’t needed or you’ve already gotten the flue too many times in the last five years, you’ve used up your allotment of care and we have lots of welfare recipients awaiting those antibiotics – what do you mean we can’t re-use needles? Or how about, the hospitals is closed because the government is having another one of those yearly budget standoffs. Can’t see patients until the budget gets passed and they have all gone on recess.

Posted on June 30, 2012 at 6:12amI predicted yesterday that doctors would just fire the people who process their insurance claims, become cash only and you file with your insurance company if you want to. Then I heard on one of the talk shows my husband listens to (can’t remember which it was because he has their apps) that a doctor said basically the same thing. They will not be participating in Obamacare, and will be getting together to determine a new pricing for cash only.

Posted on June 30, 2012 at 1:10pm@ Loriann, i already pay cash for dr visits and have major medical insurance for the big stuff. i pay 50 bucks for an office visit…which i dont think is bad at all. im not sure why its not done this way more often. im all for a cash pay system, and i really hope ur friend is right that this will be the way it ends up. also what i like about cash pay is no info is released to the ins. company. according to the ins. companies i have no known pre-existing conditions (until i need my major medical for something big anyway).

When you take a step back and look at the results of “privet health care”, the “public health” care looks really good.
Just look at the report of the results form the other nations that have public health care. The US has the 36th worst results. The 2 most disturbing are infant mortality (US is 51st worst), and life expectancy (the US is 46th). We are number 1 in two categories. Cost per capita, and the number of uninsured.

THE IRS Has never had to power to go chase down people and force payment in order to make people BUY something. See if you can get that difference. My understanding of the facts are:
The ACA is absolutely unconstitutional under the broad General Welfare clause.
The ACA is absolutely unconstitutional under the broad interpretation of the Interstate Commerce clause.
The Congressional power to tax is the power to coerce, compel, and punish, and therefore the founders limited the power to tax to two specific forms, and the sixteenth amendment added a third, the tax upon income. There are no other applications specified within the constitution.
Because the the ACA is interpreted to be a tax by Justice Roberts, he has declared the ACA to be unchallengeable in it‘s entirety despite it’s otherwise unconstitutionality, and despite it’s otherwise non-specification as a permissible tax.
Does this ruling NOT from now forward, permit congress to enact any legislation it chooses,
and regardless it’s character, remove the possibility of ever being judicially challenged as long as the legislation has a tax component, no matter how insignificant the tax?
If so, what is to prevent congress from here forward from simply making all critical legislation an act of taxation and therefore never subject to judicial challenge?
For example, the right to own a firearm is absolute under the constitution. Could not congress, under this new interpretation of the power to tax to compel, simply levy a $50,000 per annum, per firearm tax, that would be entirely unchallengeable?

It did originate in the House. The Senate took a bill the House wrote for Veterans and completely amended it into the ACA. But this is a legal maneuver in that stupid SCTOUS upheld it despite the Constitution.

I don’t know how much they pay for each click through but if at a dime I just cost those campaigns 100 dollars. Just think if 10,000 people did that a day or a million. 10,000 * 100 * .10 = $100,000 a day cost the campaign.
It’s silly but it actually made me feel better. Like I was doing something to take control of the future path of this country instead of just hoping.

The above statement is another Lefty lie. Most people want health insurance, especially those that have children. There isn’t any great hoard of “people who can afford it, but refuse to buy it”. For the most part, the people who don’t have health insurance have too many assets, (like a home they have lived in for years) or are above the government set poverty line to qualify for things like medicaid. These people have to choose between paying their mortgage or rent, or paying for health insurance. They reason – pay for a roof over my head or pay for health insurance that I “might” need. This group of people usually pay for their healthcare expenses, as best they can. The biggest expense in healthcare costs are the illegal aliens. They mistakenly believe that the USA already has universal healthcare like they DO in Mexico.
We should all “thank” Obama for the recent influx of illegal aliens into our Country – that Obama likes to call “voters”.

Well that might have been true when it was a “penalty” but now that we know it is a TAX, I’m sure that the IRS will make sure that the appropriate amounts are paid, and we all know how good they are at making your life hell as a penalty.
So let me get this straight.. In my state statistics say 40% currently have no health care plan. That group supposedly becomes covered through the ACA. I already have to wait weeks or months for an appointment with a doctor and emergency rooms have waits of hours, not minutes. A new 40% of the people now are being trained and educated using TV spots to “use their new benefits”, go to the GOV website and learn how to get your privileges. The same 60% are paying, and now a new 40% who pay nothing have no reason not to go get care for all they desire. Imagine you own a salad bar and you have 60 paying customers who pay based on how much they eat, and the Gov invites 40 people off the street to take all they want even if they can’t finish what they take, just take what you want no charge. You think the food will last? You think the paying folks will get short changed? You think your restaurant will have to raise prices on the 60? You think you will have enough staff? You think you’ll stay in business? Who thinks this is a good idea?

I don‘t see that happening but I’m just a human. Then it was the Marxists I should fear. The Glenn Beck predicted revolution here in the US dropped off the radar too, as did the FEMA camp internment of conservatives. If you‘re attentive you may notice a pattern with Glenn’s fearful predictions. He brings them up, you become afraid, then he moves on to the next fearful prediction. At some point, when you run out of money to give him for whatever he’s selling, then and probably only then you’ll see the pattern. He’s selling snake oil. At this point Beck has demonized every country, every ethnicity, religion and every political belief on earth and claimed they are out to get you. Except white, TP conservative Christians of course.

The leftist activists burned their draft cards in the 1960s/70s and they have won the ‘free speech’ protection from the Supreme Court to burn the American Flag. This should be done simultaneously on a date/time specific. We would need to be careful to maintain fire safety, i.e. have an extinguisher. I’ll bet we get arrested. Maybe that would have to go to the Supreme Court for a First Amendment ruling.

But, that would subject him to the realities of the system designed by the founding fathers which dictates no branch of the government gets their way unilaterally and compromise is the way to progress. Instead, over the past year, Beck has chosen to feed his audience a bunch of red meat focusing on Van Jones, New Black Panthers, Louis Farrakhan, atheists, and several other targeted groups to keep his readers focused on inconsequential issues while he ignores serious issues. Now, with the decision of the court, he can feign outrage at the decision because it is good for his business.
Someday, Beck’s readers will realize all his indignation is a phony front that hides his real motivation of making money. Beck’s business model does not work if the country reverts to a strict, conservative utopia, so it’s better for him to have a boogey man, preferably a liberal in power, to mock and deride to his material gain.
So, I’m calling you out you phony, self identified Mormon prophet, crap or get off the pot. It you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem and all I hear is you whining like a little professional cry baby. Maybe if you cry about it everything will be all better, you little whiner.

Government is like fire, taxes and debt are the fuel, with congress the ones with the matches. The people are the firefighters and need to put it out. As they can control the people who control taxes and the IRS with limits they can remove the powerful fire if the firefighters want to put it out.
The best power is one who has it but not use it. If your really want small limited government the ways to have it grow will always be there and it takes the people to stop it.
