Beck Shares Inspirational ‘Restoring Love’ Stories of Charity & Compassion

Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Love” is only days away. This morning, Beck spent time on his radio show covering some of the inspirational and uplifting stories he’s heard this week surrounding charity and compassion.
“I am so humbled by the people that are serving this week,” Beck proclaimed, going on to share the fact that 34,000 volunteers have arrived in the Dallas area from 14 countries and all 50 states to participate in the Restoring Love Day of Service this Friday.
Among the stories he shared was one about a man named Billy Harris. Billy and his wife live in the Fort Worth area. Unfortunately, both have experienced major health battles and the family’s home is badly in need of repairs. Beck shared the fact that contractors from across America have volunteered to come and help the family.
In another story, a poor and elderly couple felt compelled to tithe. After prayerful consideration, they went into their pantry. Being able to give money, they took 10 percent of their rice and beans from their meager supply and donated it to those who are more in need than they are. This unbelievably giving and selfless act is clearly moving.
Beck shared these stories to showcase just what’s coming later this week when the thousands of volunteers work to improve the lives of those in need. Watch him talk about these examples, below:

Posted on July 23, 2012 at 11:22pmI have a story, that I tried to send to Mr Beck, but unfortunitly with as much mail as he gets I dont think he ever saw. I am retired Navy living in Fort Worth Tx. For thrity yrs I searched for my birth mother ( I was born in the Azores) and about a yr ago I gave up. After we moved down to Fort Worth my wife decided to try one more time. IT took he no more than two weeks to not only find her but get a phone number for her. It seems that she has been living here in the US specifically Fort Worth Tx since 1976. That was back in Janurary, I have now spent a lot of time with her and have grown to love the woman that gave me life and gave me a chance at life by letting a family that could care for me adopt me.

Posted on July 23, 2012 at 8:58pmYes it is true that in some states(I’m not sure how many or where they are)where you can be jailed or at least fined for giveing money to those who are homeless or at least too poor to aford the basic‘s one need’s to get by! Weather it be food,toilettrie’s or laundry! Because ronchie cloth’s can bring illness! That bieing said I bet some people don‘t even know that there are shelter’s or FEED’S(it‘s what they call meal’s given by the wayside) but when one want‘s to help with these feed’s they can’t by law donate food cooked or other wise! Or the same can happen as to those who wish to donate! You see the theary is if you don‘t help those in need they will go somewhere else and then the torest’s won‘t see them thuss they don’t eggsist pretty clever AY? Now there are those who just want money and they don’t use it as they say or you wish for them to! this is appolling yes and those leaches should just go away! But they won’t! There are also people who say they want to help but they want to give candy to diabetic’s, nut’s to people with no teeth and milk to those who are lactose intolerent! And when they are told no thankyou they are told they are to picky! Yes there are those who just want the poor to just get SICK and DIE and hurry up about it! There are places called tent cities aand are told there is no place to put them! but arn‘t there alot of empty drive in’s and parking lot’s all fenced in! And there are many who will donate all the thing’s neede

These people would even acsept JOB’S if they were asked nomatter what the job or how much they get paid! Why are there people how want to work and people with job slot‘s and they know each other but can’t get hooked up! There is a way to take care of both sides of the fence but there are still those who will move heaven and earth to wipe out DEAD the poor and dissenfranchized! The poor can’t go away without help! SO LET’S GET TOGETHETHER AND SHOW SOME FAITH HOPE AND CHATITY! It’s not real hard! AND IT DOSE FEEL GREAT!

Posted on July 23, 2012 at 8:33pmIt would drive me bananas, if I were not aware that I have been there, but somehow we on the right, seem to devour each other over the small things that separate us, rather than focus on the things that unite us. I may not agree with everything GB says or does, but when I see the big picture of what he is doing, especially in the restoring love and the compassionate outreaches in Dallas area, I say, ‘right on brother’. FYI, I do agree with a lot of what he is saying. Often the tendancy to focus on what I disagree with, is rooted in my own insecurities and even worse, arrogance and pride. So I encourage all of you to be careful what you say. BTW, I just felt convicted by what I said about pride.

It’s DESIGNED to distract you from strengthening third parties (which would restore the nation), forming more State nullification movements (which would restore the nation), supporting Ron Paul (which would restore the nation), calling for a FULL REJECTION of the LEFTIST democrat/republican party (which would restore the nation), LEARN THE CONSTITUTION (which would restore the nation).
But I guess if I give you a snuggly-wuggly bear hug, a Christmas sweater and a can of beans… we well on our way to national restoration, right?

Was there love for the Native American? Yes. Many American CITIZENS supported the “Indians” and aided them from what THE GOVERNMENT did to them (AND OTHER Indian tribes… AND Mexicans).
Was there love for the black slaves? Yes. Many American fought and BLED in defiance of what THE GOVERNMENT and slave owners did to slaves. States even nullified GOVERNMENT attacks on their freedom. In STARK CONTRAST to the CENTURIES of UNINTERRUPTED slavery in third world countries THAT EXISTS TO THIS DAY.
This beautiful nation’s CITIZENS… have displayed love and respect for their fellow man, as NO OTHER NATION’S CITIZENS EVER HAVE. Katrina would be a great example. But their GOVERNMENT, especially since the 1913 (Federal Reserve Act and the NOT PROPERLY RATIFIED Income Tax), has PILLAGED, COERCED, FORCED, ADDICTED, WELCOMED FOREIGN INVASION, PIT CITIZENS AGAINST EACH OTHER, FORCED SURRENDER TO A “LESSER EVIL”… the OPPOSITE of love.
“Restore what love?” Look to the Cross that has guided loving America since her birth.

Does the “love” restorer Beck STILL reject/ignore Constitutionalist Presidential candidate Ron Paul?
Has the “love” restorer Beck sought forgiveness for his bloody chickenhawking?
If the “love” restorer Beck, through his love-soaked heart full of love, CLAIMS to want the troops “brought home”… has his support shifted to the man (Ron Paul) who would do that… or does he support the man (Mitt Romney) who will NOT?
Of the naive people showing up, how many were POACHED from tea parties (of which Beck HAS NOTHING to do with)? How many from FAKE-TEA GOP Freedomworks?
