He may lose another layer of listeners, but those he has encapsulated just burrow deeper into this new phenomenon of shared social stupidity, “Beckian ignorance.“ It is a symptom shared by ”Beck’s Blowhards” who we now read all across the net.
And they are so easy to spot, they reliably regurgitate Beck’s vomit verbatim.
While Beck is an idiot who couldn’t pour piss out of a boot even if the instructions were written on the bottom of the heel he may be the epitome of the blind pig finding an acorn.

The die hard progressives don’t see reality anyway. So, I have decided to prepare for the worst and be a father/husband who is not always depressed and trying to get dumb shi*s to pay attention. I spend too much time feeling like I’ve been productive telling Blaze followers my opinion. Well, most feel the same anyway. As our government may be, or begin, tracking individuals like us, I will just take care of me and my family and to hell with everyone else. Nearly everyone I know is more concerned with how the Steelers will do next week then REAL issues this country faces. If I could get a crowd of people as pumped about the constitution as they are about the superbowl…I’d be fine. I cant do that. So, when the sh*t hits the fan and these same people start asking me to share canned food….before I feed their children…I will HAVE to ask them how that ALL IMPORTANT FOOTBALL GAME went.

To an extent I agree with you, but you may want to try something that is helping me from going nuts. I have cut off any and all connections I had with any known progressives, and/or those that support progressives. If I know the guy I buy feed from supports progressives and/or progressive agendas, I fire them and look for another supplier (I did just that recently and it felt good). This even goes for my family. Nobody is allowed on my property if I know they support progressives and/or progressive agendas.
I’m now reviewing my Insurance agent, attorney, banker, accountant, etc. I want to know where they stand because I will not knowingly support the left with one penney if I can help it. I am done with them. Period. End of story. I will only support proud pro-Americans from now on.

I had a discussion with a prog, married 40, no kids, most of them here in Oregon are progs are double income no kids late 30s early 40s. She wondered why I dislike the one so much cause she thought he was so wonderful. I went down the list no or lack of political experience, lack of business experience, clouded history, voting record in Illinois, and lack of foreign policy experience.
She didn’t think I had enough to over come his glow. So I asked her a question or two, so if and when BO screws up with our foreign policy will you be sending your children to war to protect Americas freedom? She looked at me in a gasp and said you know I don’t have any kids. I said I know so you are expecting me to send my kids and have their blood shed and life lost for your mistake. She looked at me with all life draining from her face and said oh my god I have never looked at it like that. I told her that’s the problem because a lot of families are going to lose their children to this guys mistakes and my children will be risking life and blood for allowing people to make stupid decision, remember elections have consequences and they are not always about you.
Continue to support and choose to do business with those who understand. I’ve done the same.

The Three-Fifths compromise was a compromise between Southern and Northern states reached during the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 in which three-fifths of the population of slaves would be counted for enumeration purposes regarding both the distribution of taxes and the apportionment of the members of the United States House of Representatives. It was proposed by delegates James Wilson and Roger Sherman.
Delegates opposed to slavery generally wished to count only the free inhabitants of each state. Delegates supportive of slavery, on the other hand, generally wanted to count slaves in their actual numbers. Since slaves could not vote, slaveholders would thus have the benefit of increased representation in the House and the Electoral College. The final compromise of counting “all other persons” as only three-fifths of their actual numbers reduced the power of the slave states relative to the original southern proposals, but increased it over the northern position.
The three-fifths compromise is found in Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the United States Constitution:
“ Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.

I’m not necessarily agreeing with you… but if there is any truth to what you think – you’ve gotta ask yourself why anyone would want to go on an MSNBC, CNN, ABC, or CBS show where there are no rules based on honest debate.
Both the Charles Gibson and Katie Couric interviews were loaded with “Gotcha” questions. Gibson & Couric have no interest in the fact that Palin has the vision and the wisdom to do the right thing for her country as she amply demonstrated in Alaska by getting her fellow republicans incarcerated for dishonesty and giving up the governor’s perks of a chef, chauffeur, and private jet. Sarah‘s honesty wouldn’t let her take the money from the taxpayers if she didn’t absolutely need these services.
Have you ever seen Couric or Gibson, Matthews or any of these other MSM Progressive hucksters ask Obama a “Gotcha” question? Have you ever even seen them ask a tough question of a liberal? No, and you won’t because they are not honest news reporters.
I’ll bet it never occurs to you to ask the question – Why doesn‘t Barack Obama ever go on Mark Levin’s show or Rush Limbaugh’s show? in truth, he’d get a fairer interview than Couric or Gibson would ever give! Rush, Levin, and the other conservative talk show hosts wouldn’t even have to ask any “gotcha” questions beause all they’d have to do is ask honest questions like, ‘Mr. President, can you please tell me any other country in history that has taxed and spent itself into prosperity?

She also couldn’t name one ruling that she disagreed or agreed when it came to the Supreme Court.
The Bush Doctrine is the sole reason that you just sent your teenage son off to war in Iraq… any commander of the Alaskan National Guard should know that.
For you people who say there are several different versions of the bush doctrine so she was correct to ask Gibson to clarify, listen to what she said when he asked her for her own interpretation.
She said and I quote “His world view?.” Half question, half statement.

It would be a wonderful thing to watch but the Righteous Sisters don’t have the stomach or the knowledge for any real debate. Presidential candidates? Please! They would have to answer actual harball questions from actual reporters and not the marshmallow pitches of their Fox handlers. They’d never be up to it. Bachman at least is continuing in her job. Palin quit to make money. The fact that they have so many followers who like what they say and think that they are the Great Spirit’s gift to politics and the world is the part that is really scary to me. Scary that their heads are in that bizarre place and that they like it. Shiver me timbers!!!

Thanks for challenging me with more depth than the typically vapid anti-Palinites. I was impressed that you’re at least aware that the “Bush Doctrine” evolved (over four distinct stages) – thus making Charlie Gibson’s question for Sarah Palin ambiguous at best.
So, if you want to get nit-picky, bring it on because… the truth is that Charlie Gibson didn’t get it right either, while, God bless her soul, Sarah Palin had the wisdom, the honesty, and the humility to not pretend to know the answer.
I was actually enjoying the interview up until that disgusting moment when Charlie Gibson looked so condescendingly down his nose (over his glasses) at Sarah Palin to define the Bush Doctrine as, “we have the right of anticipatory self defense”.
(Cue the Gong Show buzzer…bzzzzzzz)
Despite plenty of time to prepare his own questions and a staff to support him, Charlie got it wrong! Four years before the interview, the Bush Doctrine had already evolved beyond Gibson’s out-of-date (2002) “Pre-emptive strikes” doctrine into a broader policy of “Democratic Regime Change” – especially in the Middle East as a solution to the growth of terrorism. As far back as January 2004, Bush asserted in an important speech that, “ The defense of freedom requires the advance of freedom”…
Frankly I really don’t give a hit that Charlie blew his own question because even if Gibson had known the right answer it still would not justify the smug contempt he treated his guest with. His condescending arrogance turned my stomach because it is so typical of the pseudo-intellectual snobbery that passes for journalism on the left… It was so intellectually dishonest that I predict Charlie won’t rate more than a wart on the footnote of history
Just as the MSM ignored Charlie’s blunder, you also ignored my challenge for the left to openly debate conservatives in public. You assume incorrectly that I am, “under the impression that Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh are reporters and are fair and balanced”. They are conservative commentators and proud of it… but I do assert that they would give a much more ‘fair’ interview, with more ‘legit’ questions than conservatives can hope to get from the left. I base my assertion on two pillars: 1) There’ll be no need for ‘gotcha’ questions because good, basic honest questions will expose the liberals’ illusions of omniscience, and 2) It’s not possible to be any less fair & balanced than the MSM’s delusions of fairness:
The mainstream media raked the very-successful Governor of Alaska over the coals – sending scores (!) of reporters to investigate the most trivial details of her life and then harassed her with endless bogus lawsuits even though she’d only run for VP and that had long ended… But the MSM gave Obama a complete pass on every important question including his college performance, his legal name changes and citizenship issues, his friendships with criminals (Tony Rezko), radicals (Rev. Wright), terrorists (Bill Ayers), communists (Frank Marshall Davis), his utter lack of any executive experience (much less economic sense)… his wife’s high-paid job (pure political cronyism), etc, etc, but so what… he was only running for the presidency…
That is the point I was making in my earlier post – Liberals live by such a double standard that it is rarely possible to hold rational conversations with them. You constantly demand proof of conservative’s ‘qualifications’ but never question the lack of qualifications of liberals… so your questioning of Palin’s and Bachman’s qualifications carries as much weight as the foam that dripped from Keith Olbermann’s mouth.

So many argue over the 3/5ths clause and have no idea what it means. Beck has gone over it 4-5 times btwn TV and radio and yet the dolts on PMSNBC and in DC still have no clue.
Its amazing how so many attack Glenn, Palin, Bachmann etc over topics they have no clue and get away with ‘murder’. Glenn above all ppl checks everything he says/does before he opens his mouth b/c he knows they are all waiting for him to screw up.
At least Glenn does his homework unlike Tingles, who better get in line with his new bosses. We all know the Olbermann canning was a warning shot to ahe PMSNBC lineup. What was funny about that night Milky Mathews went into his typical bed wetting mode, he kept asking questions of the Tea Partier on the show that were so over the top and misleading that no rational person could have answered them without sending Mathews into another one of his sputtering whine-a-paloozas. He kept cutting off his guest, demanding that he insult Bachman childishly along along with him, all the while ignoring that inner voice telling him what a professional, self-respecting journalist would/should do.
THEN, the next night (Wednesday) he tried pulling that crap and he got owned by Philip Dennis, a Tea Party coordinator in Dallas. Dennis made an excellent points about Matthews, calling him out on being misinformed, filled him in on history, made him look stupid, then made him look even stupider when all Milky Matthews could reply with was: “sir, why do you cover for this ignorance?” After that Dennis called Milky out on his partisan nature and cited how he didn’t poke fun of lefties who made stupid statements, like Hank Johnson who was afraid that putting a military base on an island might cause said island to capsize and kill everybody.
They are officially losing their minds…. 2012 is gonna be SO much fun!!

He didn’t understand about the census and having more representation so they could continue slavery. When he said he thought they would want the slaves to count as zero, he also said cause they didn’t want them to have a vote. Slaves had no vote. It was all about the census. The slave holders in the South said the slaves were “property”, then they wanted to count their “property” as part of the census so they could get more representation in Congress. Abolitionists replied, they wanted to count their mules, oxen, and horses in the census. So they compromised. Instead of counting each slave (not one mule, oxen, or horse), they counted 3 out of 5 and the South was unable to garner the majority to continue to legalize slavery. Think about it. The non-slave holders couldn’t count their livestock as part of their constituency, but the slave holders got to count 3 out of 5 slaves as part of their constituency. They were STILL defeated! Doesn’t that tell you the vast majority of this country was against slavery? 3/5th’s had nothing to do with slaves being able to vote! 3/5th’s was the beginning of the abolition of slavery. Yes. Our Founding Father’s fought for it tirelessly!

Quit honestly Glenn, I can not totally agree. I do not think most Progressives believe Bachmann or Palin are viable options for the highest office in the land. Elitists just cannot believe any less than another, adequately credentialed, tried and tested elitist, could conceivably wage a challenge. They cannot help but believe their champion will smash all commoners, those who live common sense and do not merely deploy allusions to it to cuddle their little lambzy-pansies. Common sense is only rhetorical tool for the high and mighty. Dichotomy is the root to all of their thought. No, for the Progressives among us, I think Bachmann and Palin serve other purposes.
For some Progressives, it is just a matter of clearly demarcating the vast, and desolate, chasm that separates them and the rest of us. By putting these woman down they put all of us down, conversely keeping themselves up. By their words, the dichotomy lives, in their minds. Lies must be fed and the worst lies consume the most. Ya just gots ta keep drowning out the truth that tortures the brain. Then too, without a doubt, there is a great deal of sexism within the lies of the great dichotomy. After all, if you do not have allegiance with dominant Progressive Males, you cannot be man or woman, just underling. Some underlings just happen to be equipped with objects that may serve masturbation, or other inconsequential sexual arousal. Then too, some are just concerned about the sheep, fearful that some, particularly their feminine tooled folk, may get carried away on the whims of independence or self-reliance. Mending fences takes time requiring a lot of hard work and cash.
I am liking this Reagan thing the Administrator does. It is like making a form for concrete. We have already made him practice and recite an evangelical testimonial. We got him quoting the Constitution. He knows the tea party jargon, the words at least, not so much the significance. Yea, we keep putting up barricades and he keeps pouring himself into them. I say we give him a whole lot of Bible, Jesus Christ is Lord. Only heaven knows what might solidify if he poured himself into that Book. He might just get stuck, with the rest of us. The dichotomy would vanish… but to be sure, in the mean time, where we lead, he follows.

Seattle area is hardly known for its conservatism. If people like Chris Matthews are decrying the conservative effort, Glenn, Rush and the many other radio hosts and Congressional members, then they must be hitting a nerve, which is what needs to happen. You are either with them, or with the other side, and the choice can only be made by you. I have listened daily over 10 years and have learned a lot about that special freindship. I even feel part of it as a listener. I don’t have that same connection with the BG TV show because it is so much more serious in its format. As Glenn tells everyone daily, I do have to check out the facts on my own as well. Michael Savage is another radio source that requires comment research. They both introduce their thoughts and you have to form yours. Even Oprah needs comment research.

The chalkboard, quotes, and citations are used to provide facts and evidence to support what he says. When do you and your boys provide such evidence? Much like you, they merely provide opinions and interpretations without substance. This is why you and yours lack so much credibility. You say Beck has contradicted himself so many times but you fail to provide an example. When arguing in a court of law, one must supply evidence. Telling the judge that you shouldn’t be convicted does not work. He/she needs to know WHY. You and yours should apply this approach when attempting to “discuss” things here. Until then, you remain nothing but humor for us. Not much of a “thinker” actually. I think you are just a fool until PROVEN otherwise.

As for Soros, like it or not and regardless of his age or circumstances at the time, witnessing and participating in what he did, and later professing pride about it certainly would qualify him as a less than sensitive person at this point. God washing the country in blood is a biblical position regarding the immorality that our country is adopting, and from a strong Christian, also a valid opinion. The biblical flood being an example of God “cleansing the earth” of its morality. Whether you believe or not should have no bearing on whether he should be able to believe this. In general, your position is pathetic, the protesters were laughable, and once again, emotions rule your argument rather than facts or anything of real substance. Clearly Beck uses dramatic references and imagery to make some of his points. Pretty sure your boys on the left do too, and more so. Once again though, the substance is what I look for, and it is sadly lacking again in the protest and your argument. Just go hang with your soft, politically correct, crybabies, and don’t look to the right for help when all of your civil liberties have been taken away for the sake of the “betterment of the nation” (like happened in Germany, N Korea, Iran, Cuba, etc).

I‘ve watched Glen’s show since it began and have always supported him.
BUT he is getting a little self rightous lately. I know he trys to come across

On thursday Jan 27th he struck a chord that I think will hurt him wit southerners,
at least those of us that had family members in law enforcment in the 50‘s and 60’s.
Glen said and I Quote:

Is he trying to say that all southern law enforcement in the south was corrupt or that we southerners all thought it was. Either way he owes us an appology…..
