Green with envy over Beck’s success! If Beck frightens joe’s mom she must believe what Beck has to say. Why? because he backs it up with facts and the truth. Or maybe Beck scares her because she knows joe will never have the success as Beck. What ever, joe is one of those wolves in sheeps clothing.I can hear him now ” Baaaaeck, baaaaeck.”

This cracked me up. Oh and when I heard Joe’s whole little rant he made comments about how nobody even knew who Glenn Beck was until Roger Ailes took under his wing. So what. Who the freak are you. Everybody is a nobody until someone takes an interest in them!! My friends & family will all tell you I am big time into current events, politics, national & international news and spend more hours than most people do on researching and learning about these things but I did NOT know who the heck Joe Scarborough was by name! So maybe he needs to be taken under someone’s wing! So b4 he goes attacking a household name like he’s somebody high and mighty, maybe he should make sure he’s actually a household name!

There was a time, long, long ago, when I actually respected(wait for it) Joe Scarborough. He used to be witty, and good for the ride, but he drank the coolaid, and his brain got a little fried. He makes fun with his cohorts, liberals, progressives and all, without realizing his folly, and how progressivism will fall. The truth needs not guns, or swords to be herd, it needs not great lawyers, or TV commercials. It just need be spoken, by 1 at the first, then everyone after that has sole in a thirst. Patriots voices, all over this land, come do your part, and please, take your stand. Do it for you, and do it for me, do it for the Lord that we all can stay free. If a person can live up to all that God plans, then make sure you show up, put on a show for your fans.

Glenn, yesterday’s show was pure genius. The way the Left is distorting facts in the AZ tragedy opens up all kinds of doors for absurd parallels. By the Left’s logic, a manic who was seen on video eating ice cream, could be linked to Sara Palin or Rush Limbaugh because they eat dairy products… What it says about the Left is that logic doesn’t matter, facts don’t count, and the only rule is how fast they can blame the right for anything that could be pinned to them. Keep up the great work!

Saying the words “fundamentally transforming” on the campaign trail in 2008 is iron-clad evidence that Obama is a radical Marxist?? Where is the proof in Obama’s policy decisions?? I don’t see any evidence that he is a radical Marxist. He is certainly a liberal but not a radical Marxist.

Progressives are not Marxists. They just aren’t. Desiring regulation on private business simply is not equal to desiring working-class revolution and eliminating private businesses entirely! Progressives regulate business… they do not eliminate it! Do they regulate too much… yes! But is it radical Marxism… no!

The upper income tax bracket under Obama is some 15% lower than Nixon‘s and Reagan’s and some 40% lower than the Truman/Eisenhower years. Corporate profits are at record highs in America in 2010. Lyndon Baines Johnson pursued much more redistributive “welfare” approaches under the “War on Poverty”. Welfare recipients have to work for their cash benefits in 21st Century America (remember welfare reform under Clinton?).

Obama is not a radical Marxist. A liberal certainly but not a radical Marxist. Obama is honestly too liberal for my moderate-right politics, but shallow McCarthyism and “Red Scare” politics has no place in American politics!!! That heated rhetoric does nothing but scare grandma.

    “You Suck”!!!!! ;-)

You are right. Early progressives had more to do with the fascist national socialists of 1930′s Germany. They shared common interests and ideology. Big government and regulation, gun control, nanny state type regulations (control of people), control of the language, and the biosocial movement of Eugenics (which required the control of people’s health care). American Progressives perfected theoretical Eugenics in the 1920′s and started putting it to use in small groups of people. But Nazis with the help of American Progressives put Eugenicts to work on a grand scale. Which is the cause of the mass genocides that occurred around WWII. So you are correct, it would be wrong to call our Progressive President a Marxist. History just does not support that claim.

Haha! That does happen Ludwika! Pat Gray was responding to Scarborough’s assertion that Beck uses hyperbole and exaggeration when calling Obama a radical Marxist. Pat responded by yelling “you suck” and stating that Obama said “fundamentally transforming” so he must be a radical Marxist.

All I’m asking is that all that you need? Single quotes from the 2008 campaign trail saying “fundamental transformation” to demonize someone? It doesn’t make sense to call Obama a radical Marxist if you look at history. Redistribution and welfare programs for the poor were more expansive in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s! LBJ was much more “Marxist” than Obama! Nixon was more “Marxist” than Obama if you look at income tax rates and welfare programs!

I want to be against Obama for the right reasons but calling him a radical Marxist is degenerate “Red Scare” style McCarthyism and does a disservice to political discourse! He is a liberal but not a radical Marxist.

      rogue, Truth Exposes Ambiguities
Marxism has showed its head in numerous ways over the past 1.5 century. It has taken many forms… largely because it is a form, of many forms. It would not be hard to argue that the guts of Marxism is transition, or ah… transformation, even, or clearly, fundamental transformation. Clearly Marxism, fundamental Marxism, starts with a Capitalistic premise. But it ends with something very different, an undefined communism being the original end game. Quite coincidently, most of us with any age, have always assumed these United States of America to be a Capitalist Republic. ‘Fundamental transformation,’ what does that mean? What does ‘Progressive’ mean? Where do Progressives, progress to? Clearly they appear to be fed up with the state of this FEDeration. Do they wish to transform us into something that we have never been? So, what were the Fundamentals we assumed before 2008, Capitalism, Democratic Republic, Freedom, Liberty, Endowed Rights? Which are to be transformed? Are all to be transformed?

Progressives think themselves clever for the details they fail to state, an agility to skirt about the edges, to nudge this way and that, always lacking ‘fundamental’ clarity. They pile the big words high, long on wind, yet always short of destination. ‘Fundamental transformation,’ that is something a Radical Marxist might pledge, totally void of detailed motive, method or outcome. I challenge any to give clear conceptualize of a more progressive form of governance (an advancement in governing principles and ideals) than the simplicity of our Constitution as intended by our Founding Fathers. We need no progress, as in a new form of fundamental economy and/or governing, and I for one do not believe progress is to be found. It is all regress. Progressives are regressive. If truth be told… they never progress. If truth be known, most Progressives would be glad to regress us back to one of the many forms of Marxism this world has already rejected. But they never do tell us, where they wish to go. They simply, and wrongly, slap ‘Progress’ to their change.

I do favor fundamental transformation, as in fundamental restoration. I do seek regression, because I know of no better governance beyond what has been clearly laid out by our Constitution and wholeheartedly ignored by almost a century of self-serving politicians. Without knowing the end game, it is hard to affix a label. You do know my end game. Label me if that makes your day. However, the best Progressive, being hell-bent on Radical Rules, will never declare an end, or it will be stuck and tucked into so much double-talk most will buy the pig in the poke. That is how increasing more feel every day, as the end begins to appear. Where it is intended to ended, is quaintly hid by silence. It will be regressive… and there is plenty of forms Marxism, back there. It is very unwise to argue Radical Marxism is not the end game, especially when the chosen friends, professors and comrades are Marxists.

You can define it any number of ways. It was a heated campaign stump speech and I read it as shallow campaign rhetoric. I guess you read it in the most cynical way possible… that it invariable means extreme radical Marxism.

I just don’t get it. Obama never talks about radical Marxism and never pushes for Marxist policies, thus I conclude that he is not a radical Marxist. Obama wanted a 39% upper income tax bracket, while the GOP in Congress wanted a 35% rate. Does taxing the wealthy an extra 4% make one a radical Marxist?

The Health Care Reform Law preserved private insurance companies and did NOT eliminate them in favor of government controlled health care. There was no “public option” or “government option”! It looked like Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts Health Care Bill. It looked like the Health Care proposals put forth by Bob Dole and Dick Lugar in the 1990s! Are Bob Dole and Dick Lugar Marxists?

I agree these are the wrong liberal policy prescriptions for the country but how are they Marxist? “Red Scare” McCarthyism must has no place in American democracy.

o.k., i can almost agree that obama’s not a marxist. but i don’t worry about him nearly as much as i worry about the Background. all the nice folks who don’t have to answer to us and can pretty much do as they want.obamas role is to be the pretty face. the guy who can send shivers up legs. but you can bet that in the dark of the night, when these folks are planning what to do next, they’re also figuring out where to send him. the great campaigner. ” okay barry, we’re sending you out to sell this. do a good job “.you may think it’s a talking point, but i disagree. this came out of his own mouth. “ judge me by the people i surround myself with”. the obamunists. it’s never the people up front that you have to worry about.

Glenn Beck’s on the right track, but his carrying on like a clown as if his audience is adolescent or ignorant is a little over the top, even though we get the picture he’s trying to paint. Hopefully Glenn tone’s his humor down enough to be perceived as being a little bit more credible in the eyes of Americans everywhere. Better still the use of graphics and charts to express his thoughts would go a far greater distance in putting his points across than using a comic’s antics.
Joe Scarborough and his Morning Show remember are supplied their talking points from the White House and therefore anything Joe says must be considered as biased propaganda from the get go.

NY Times, MSNBC, etc. etc. … The left wing hate machine is trying its hardest to bash the right, but everyone of their swings seems to come back around to hit them in the back of the head.

Poor Joe…What a mental midget he is….and his momma won’t even listen to him.

I checked into a hotel in Dallas for the Bold Fresh tour. The guy at the desk asked me why I was in town, when i told him it was to see Glenn, my room went from ready to check in to not ready, it had not been cleaned…So I asked him if he ever watched Glenn…His answer…” No, I dont watch him, I am gay!” I said, so that makes you not listen to reason??? to which he replied “Glenn Beck hates gays.” To which I replied, if he did, I would not watch him because I have family members who are gay and I would not watch gay bashing and neither would they, and we all watch Glenn…My room was magically clean again…hmmmmmmmmmmmm

@DustyLuv – I’m starting to find more gay people switching sides, just as I have done. Over the last couple of months, I’ve had over a dozen people tell me how refreshing it was to find other gay conservatives or those that have woken up to what our government and political system is doing. Unfortunately it’s a slow moving process, but people are still in the process waking up.

Thatzit, since retiring, I really don’t work for anyone. Freelancing for The Blaze is my only gig currently. You may be interested in some of the humorous, albeit embarrassing, videos of Glenneth on youtube. No files need to be kept mind you. One simply uses the search function on the site and off you go.

      Off you go.

Kisha, I loved it too. What is almost as encouraging is that beckisnuts is so worried that Beck is satirical along the veins of John Stewart, funny yet informative. Beckisnuts caN’T disPRove what beck says…just attempt character assassination……he/she/whatever talks about Becks ratings drops…which if you put on a graph next to the best ratings of the MSNBC crowd…..wouldn’t even show because you would have to dramatically scale the graph so their ratings would even show.

Vichoff, Beck does put forth incendiary rhetoric that is debilatating to American political discourse. Some of Glenneth’s statements:

“Obama is a racist that hates white culture”
“I want to kill Michael Moore”
“The Food Safety Bill is ultimately about starvation”
“Obama’s trip to India is costing $200 billion dollars per day”
      “TIDES is indoctrinating children”
“The Health Care Reform Bill resembles Nazi “eugenics programs” and the government controlling who lives and dies”
“Obama is channeling his dead father’s spirit from beyond the grave that tells him to institute radical Marxist policies”
“Obama is an extreme adherent of Black Liberation Theology (i.e. “Black Panthers” or “Black Power”) and wants to punish the “oppressors” (i.e. white people) for their sins against blacks”
“My estimate is that at least 10 percent of Muslims are terrorists”
“Its the perfect storm and the republic may not survive”

Vichoff, here’s some more information for you. What do you know about the Birchers?
Back in the 1960s, the John Birch Society possessed such a mainstream message—the existence of a Communist world system with tentacles in the United States—that it had a potent influence over whole sections of the Republican Party. It managed this even after its leader and founder, Robert Welch, had denounced President Dwight D. Eisenhower as a “dedicated, conscious agent” of that same Communist apparatus. Right up to the defeat of Barry Goldwater in 1964, and despite the efforts of such conservatives as William F. Buckley Jr. to dislodge them, the Birchers were a feature of conservative politics well beyond the crackpot fringe.

Now with Beck, here is the difference. Glenn Beck has not even been encouraging his audiences to reread Robert Welch. No, he has been inciting them to read the work of W. Cleon Skousen, a man more insane and nasty than Welch and a figure so extreme that ultimately even the Birch-supporting leadership of the Mormon Church had to distance itself from him. It’s from Skousen’s demented screed The Five Thousand Year Leap (to a new edition of which Beck wrote a foreword, and which he shoved to the position of No. 1 on Amazon) that he takes all his fantasies about a divinely written Constitution, a conspiratorial secret government, and a future apocalypse. To give you a further idea of the man: Skousen’s posthumously published book on the “end times” and the coming day of rapture was charmingly called The Cleansing of America. A book of his with a less repulsive title, The Making of America, turned out to justify slavery and to refer to slave children as “pickaninnies.” And, writing at a time when the Mormon Church was under attack for denying full membership to black people, Skousen defended it from what he described as this “Communist” assault.
