1. Beck linked loose monetary policy in the US to rising food prices. This is stupid, since that cause has nothing to do with it. The rise of emerging economies have been pushing up all commodity prices, including food for about 10 years now, but you guys selectively analyze the data and ignore what doesn’t fit your preconceived conclusion (that Beck is an oracle). You also ignore that teh cause he sites makes no sense analytically. Only a total idiot would admit to believing what he said to be true, and I won’t even waste my time trying to explain it to you.
2. Caliphate? What you are seeing across the middle east is the same crumbling of corrupt old regimes that we saw in Western Europe in the 19th century and in Eastern Europe in the 20th century. You look at violence across the region and declare a caliphate? Where is the coordination amongst governments? Where is the international organization causing this? It ain’t happening. It’s all internal, just like it was when all the Soviet bloc countries came down at once. You look at Fox News pictures and draw massive assumptions. Again, only an idiot would admit to doing that.
3. unions are protesting in one or maybe two states, while they have reached successful resolution in several others (e.g., MI). this is hardly a mass uprising, and to connect this to Egypt makes Beck look like a total crazy person.
What you people do not understand is taht the majority of the country thinks he is totally nuts. That you guys listen to him makes you look perhaps even more foolish in the eyes of the vast majority of the country. I do not know whether this is the product of a terrible education, which Beck certainly had, or deep-seeded fears or both. But you make me worry about our democracy given your inability to think clearly and see facts and empirical evidence accurately. This is why Edmund Burke had such reservations about mass democratic rule. The masses are really dim.

No, it is formed by the fact that I went to elite schools and was trained by the best, and what he says is totally at odds with what the smartest across independent fields say. So he has lost credibility.

GB union bashes but praises corporations. Who do you think caused the crisis that has exacerbated unemployment and deficits? Not the unions. The banks, which have no unions. Open your eyes and try to understand what is going on. Beck has no clue, and neither do you. The unions are stronger in Germany than in the US by a wide margin, yet Germany is the world’s most competitive exporter. Try to square that with all the union bashing that the right is doing. GB is a fact free zone, which is why his take on things is so at odds with real experts in the field.

It is really sad that we are going to defund the anti-malaria programs that are part of foreign aid, since conservatives need to show their deficit cutting bona fides, but they want to defund planned parenthood to show how much they love babies. The aborted fetus didn’t know it was alive to lament that it is dead. But the babies that will die of malaria are alive and know when they are dying. The hypocrisy of the conservatives on this issue really knows no bounds at all. They ignore science, which shows what is sentient, and cling to their stupid bronze-age fairy tales that have no use, but which apparently say that embryos without brain waves are worth more than little African and Indian children that will certainly die in growing numbers thanks to the stupidity of out conservative politicians and pundits.

Whatever Sanger’s opinions on various issues might have been, it doesn’t negate the services that Planned Parenthood provides. That would be the same as saying Volkwagon is evil because it was started under the Nazis. Secondly, simply because one may have questionable opinions on some matters does not mean that all of their opinion are bad. Sanger’s ideas on feminism and reproductive rights wer, and still are very important.
Lastly, let’s get the facts straight: Planned Parenthood does a lot more than provide abortions. In fact, abortions are only about 2% of what PP does. They also provide contraceptive services, screening for various reproductive cancers, testing and treatments for sexually transmitted diseases, menopaus treatments, conseling, pregnancy care, vasectomies and other services that make up 98% of their work.

I have been to a pro-life rally during the Democratic National Convention, invited a pro-life speaker to one of my Girl Scout meetings (which would not have been allowed if I had asked for permission from the association head), butt heads with friends and family members, and a few other lesser examples, but I don’t think I would ever have the guts to do what this lady has done.
She has my highest respect.

This is a fact, yet Beck pretends like that call to the FBI never happened. Similarly, PP called the FBI after Miss Rose’s people came to visit, but no mention is made of this. She claims (falsely) that PP fired people after denying that they broke the law, which makes it look suspicious. The state in question doesn’t have parental notification, so those “little girls” could receive information on abortions and assistance without breaking the law. This little game that the conservatives are playing will not work on PP. The rush to defund ACORN, although they didn’t do anything wrong, and no malfeasance of assets was found, and no one was arrested or even charged–unlike the conservative actor who played the part of the pimp in that hoax/scam on ACORN. Having seen the movie once, Democrats and pro-choice groups will see through this, as will PP.
Beck is the biggest propagandist on the planet. The law is the law. Those fetuses are not babies, according to the law, not matter how many times he nor Rose say otherwise. And to say that the debate must happen only around allowing abortions in the case of incest or rape is not correct, since that isn’t the law. You cannot call insane people whose position on an issue also happens to be settled law, and you cannot characterize an organization that broke no laws and reported the incident to the FBI as having made violations. Beck continues to repeat lies, but only fools will believe this stuff. Unfortunately, there are apparently a lot of them.

You obviously have had an abortion[s] and the only way you can find any kind of peace about it is by clinging to the idea that abortion is ok because the law says so ……. that by saying “fetus” instead of “baby,” means that you weren’t carrying a real, live, baby human. You were carrying a real-live-baby-human, ABC, who would have gone on to be born and go thru childhood and grow into an adult if the life wouldn’t have been brutally taken from him or her before birth.
May I suggest that you, if you dare – if you have the courage, read up on Norma McCorvey [jane roe] and Bernard Nathanson, MD. Dr Nathanson, at one time, ran an abortion clinic. Their stories are easily found on-line and they both speak openly about their involvement in getting roe v wade passed and why they are, now, living out the rest of their lives actively pro-life.
May you find the peace, ABC, that you so desperately yearn for.

Ask them if you can hold the aborted fetuses in your hands and look up on them with your own eyes. Then come back on this web site and tell us your experience and what you believe.

What you are seeing across the middle east is the same crumbling of corrupt old regimes that we saw in Western Europe in the 19th century and in Eastern Europe in the 20th century. Yes a prime example of how the old is replaced by the new. There is no fool like an old fool. We have been fooled by this hustle before and should not be fooled again. 3. unions are protesting in one or maybe two states, while they have reached successful resolution in several others (e.g., MI). this is hardly a mass uprising, and to connect this to Egypt That is funny, I hear the union protesters saying that it is connected to the Egyptian uprising not Glenn. He is the one showing that they are using the issues to bend them to their callings. Why are they lying so much? Do they think that all our thinkers are this stupid?

Do you have the courage to research Norma McCorvey [aka jane roe] and Bernard Nathanson, MD? Those two fine folks heave a huge wrench into roe v wade and reveal the horror abortion really is. About 55 million innocent babies, maybe more, brutally murdered since 1973.

That night, instead of sleeping on my right side (facing my husband), I turned over to my left side. He kicked and squirmed and kicked and squirmed. The second night he was not so active. And so the week passed, and I went back to the doctor. He told me that the head was in the proper position.
Now. If my baby was uncomfortable before he was born, wouldn’t you think he woule realize he was being killed, particularly in a PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION, which your Muslim-bowing president VOTED FOR as a senator?

I spent 4 years working for the Mississippi Supreme court, part of my time there was computerizing the bar exam, while writing the code, I never failed a practice exam, the logic I used was I always 100% of the time picked the answer that sounded the most stupid, most of the time this was the correct answer.
One of my other projects there was computerizing their ethics training. When I was given the task I thought it would teach morals and ethics, no, it was required training for all lawyers in the state, and it taught how to justify what ever you did as a lawyer as ethical and moral, no matter how evil. One of the example cases they used to teach ethics was a guy who was arrested for getting his great granddaughter pregnant, who happened to be his granddaughter and his daughter. They pointed out how ethical it was to get the guy off cause the charged him with having sex with his 11 year old great granddaughter when legally he was only her father since “legally” you couldn’t be both.
When computerizing our youth case management system, I did discover that our attorney general had been convicted of molesting his daughter, and had had the record expunged, but that’s a different story.

From a strictly logical point of view and not touching the religious perspective. You say the government does not recognize life begins @ conception. I dispute that. I work for medicaid. Illegal pregnant women are covered thru medicaid because the Feds recognize that the child they carry will undoubtedly become a citizen so they provided necessary health care to that child thru the mother. They changed the rules from Emergency Only services for illegals for that exact reason. Citizenship @ conception. The old rule was that only the delivery would be covered. So you are wrong. The government does recognize conception as the creation of a person…..when it serves their agenda.

FACT: at 6-8 weeks gestation, heart valves are formed, and it’s a boy or girl
FACT: at 8-12 weeks gestation, movement is felt, liver and pancreas are formed, baby starts sucking it’s tiny thumb
FACT: at 16-24 weeks (roughly half-way through) eyelashes, eyebrows are formed, eyes are open, and pupils react to bright light through the mother’s abdomen
FACT: at 24-32 weeks, brain is rapidly developing. Fetus reacts to loud sounds. Iron stores are building up, and if it’s a boy, the testes descend.

If a fetus is not a human being, then a abortion is no more significant than a gall bladder surgery. If the fetus is a human being then we must stop killing people,PERIOD. Could we just say a fetus is 3/5ths a human being? I realize the African we forced to our shores were considered 3/5ths a free man. Could we apply the 3/5ths rule to the fetus ? It would be a great start.

What I mean is that someone is telling these PP managers to allow this, and I wonder, for what purpose? Is the euthanasia agenda being secretly authorized, to eliminate as many lives “legally” as possible? That is the only thing I can imagine.
On a personal religious note, I can also imagine that this is a plan by satan to promote debauchery and vileness and make it mainstream to the masses.
Either way, I applaude this woman and her efforts, which have resulted in our House to vote successfully to defund PP.

On the day Obama was elected, I cried because I knew that Obama had a fundamental character defect – he does NOT value individual life, I was not surprised that he was so eager to lift this ban. Call it what you want, but we all know that partial birth abortion is murder of the worst kind in that it is a defenseless child who is being violently and painfully murdered. For those of you who don’t think you can raise a disabled child or a child with down syndrome, you will be surprised at the strength God will give you, and the blessings that come with a special-needs child.. With the defunding of such a disgusting organization as Planned Parenthood we move one step closer to restoring American values. A happy day, indeed!! Those who want to support this agency, can do so through individual donations. We must press forward even harder in teaching our children to respect their bodies and abstain from sexual intercourse until they are married. Unfortunately, in order for children to learn to respect and guard their bodies, we must help them to develop a relationship with God and help them to understand that since we are made in the image and likeness of God and his Spirit dwells within us, our bodies deserve the utmost respect. The more we take God out of our country, the harder it is to teach this lesson to our children. But this is all part of the progressive/communist agenda – to de-value human life. Why more people don’t see this puzzles me.
