It’s only the begining. Everybody better crack open their Bibles. The Tribulation is about to start and the full wrath of GOD will be upon the entire earth. Go ahead and scoff all you want, it will change nothing. Just because you may not beleive it, or think it wont happen, does not change what is about to commence.
    GOD Speed!

I’m just off to do some scoffing now. You‘re going to be so disappointed when the world doesn’t end. Maybe your God could arrange some wrath just for you? By the way, you won’t be invited to the party.

The Bible says “know thyself”. All of the things being reported today are the result of a world that is out-of-focus with the “truth”. Most politicians will only tell you bits and pieces of a larger “agenda” which will make one believe that they have participated in “some” truth, whether it’s incremental to your own version or not. The only way for “your own” version to be the right version, is to be “grounded” in your own version of your own faith, and whether that faith “reaches to the heavens” or not, remains to be seen for those with the best “evidence”.

Remember the quote “…faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.”? The battle between (older) and (younger) faiths seems to be between the “have things which can be seen” vs. the “have things which cannot be seen.”

The problem lies with those who want to tell everyone else “I know and support all of those people who deserve more of the evidence of things which should be seen more than other (people) do.”

Yet our country is losing both its job base and technical resource base because of the excessive power and greed of Washington bureaucrats, in the sense that they are the ones who need to be “looked up to” when considering anything that deserves to be “marketable” or even “seen” by the rest of their “inside-the-beltway” society.

These are the progressives of the “New World Order” today.

Take for instance the “co-founder” of FreedomWorks, Dick Armey. Although you might not realize, he’s an open-borders and globalist endorser, whether one likes it or not. IMO, he does not represent a true conservative/constitutionalist in the practice, but seems to be endorsing an NWO agenda.

The whole Tea Party movement needs to move away from FreedomWorks. Any organization with Dick Armey as its co-founder is clearly not a TRUE conservative/constitutionalist organization. The battle lies in the arena of ideas, and no other rhyme or reason will make our economy function the way that a free market is supposed to function, without all of its “micromanagement” from within.

Although Armey may have been one of the earliest supporters of the TP movement, we have him to thank for IMO worthless organizations, such as the Dept. Homeland Security.

IMO he’s co-opting the most useful idiots of the last mid-term election, which was in essence, a completely leaderless, grassroots election; but by virtue of his being a beltway “insider”, seems way too soft on supporting the creation of things like professional, white-collar, entry-level, permanent-placement, scientific, engineering, and technical jobs AT HOME, as well as the protections that would be required for those jobs.

Rather, he supports open borders instead of expanding our own grass-roots, economic potential for things like free and abundant energy, super-massive earth-to-orbit technology, and building the right kinds of incentives for all of our energy (& oil, gas) needs, in order to start reinventing ourselves with things other than just more expensive kinds “green energy”.

Part of the problem lies with the way that lobbyists spend money to represent their constituents in Washington, as most are into protectionist measures to insure their victory for continuing their peculiar form of “incumbantism”, while nothing ever becomes of “reinventing themselves”, with regards to “replacement” energy technology, rather than just tweaking the old forms of minutia, just so that one can put a “newer” face on an older agenda – sort of like giving old, rusty, and soiled tools-of-the-trade a “new shine”, based upon the lights, cameras, and action that an old “Model T” deserved. That, IMO, is reverse-objectivism, and only works when economies begin to “vulcanize” themselves.

What this nation needs today is the ability to reinvent itself, as well as the social environment that endorses the kind of education that fosters these kinds of environments: trade shows, workshops, galleries, and the internet, are just a few ways of getting the message across.

This is what happens when you put radicals in the White House who can’t wait to bring about the chaos they need to “fundamentally change” America. This is the hope they‘ve been hoping for and they can’t wait to make every American into their slave for all eternity, just to hand us back a few of the scraps.

They‘ve been in the White House for two years now and they’ve overthrown an ally, and the Middle East is on fire as the result of it, and they’re adding trillions of dollars of new debt, and now they’re bussing their paid-for-by-Obama Organizing for America radicals into Madison, Wisconsin to cause choas and mayhem there and to overturn the elections where they voted in a Governor to bring their fiscal house in order.

And now they aim to bring an Islamic fascist into America to have his “Day of Rage” in front of the White House on March 3rd! A despicable nincompoop who insisted that one day there will be an Islamic flag flying over it.

Over our dead bodies there will. Over our dead bodies there will be brutal Sharia in America. Over our dead bodies will we ever be 2nd class citizens in our own country and subjugated to his evil Islamic ideology and paying the jizya (Muslim tax).

    Got that, Choudary?

All I can say is they’d better not let that Islamic fascist Choudary come to America because he might get the shock of his life. Nobody in America is going to kneel down on his bloody mat of subjugation. Nobody in America is going to accept brutal Sharia where they treat women like 2nd class citizens and stone them to death and where they cut off hands and run over small children’s arms with cars for stealing something. Nobody in America is going to ever see a dirty black death flag fly over the White House. We know exactly who he is and we won‘t put up with his disgusting crap where he thinks it’s perfectly alright for a girl of 9 to marry and it’s perfectly alright to cut off the heads of infidels and Jews.

Anjem Choudary and his kind are evil personified. The scum of the earth. Hannity was right to call Anjem Choudary an evil SOB when he interviewed him a short while ago. It’s what we were all thinking who were listening to his vile rhetoric.

Way to go, Obama et al. You are doing a swell job. You’ve demoralized this country by bowing to Saudi kings and apologizing all over the world and appeasing every disgusting dictator. And now you’ve got your Union paid thugs out on the streets of America whining about how hard they have it when some of us no longer have jobs. This couldn’t get much worse than it is right now. Or could it?

I keep asking when will this nightmare be over? Of course, we all know the answer to that. When we get someone in the White House who understands America and knows what it stands for. Freedom.

Godfather: I know several people who homeschool their kids, and I’d put them against any public school-educated mushbrains anytime, and that includes me. They’re all intelligent, well-spoken, well-behaved and well-read. A major misconception about homeschooling, is that there is no set curriculum. This is wrong. People have indeed produced curriculae, geared toward homeschooling; it’s available online and sometimes in local schools and libraries. Homeschooled kids get into college all the time, with higher SAT scores than their public-school peers.
The only problem with homeschooling, very often, is with social interaction skills; that does seem to suffer, somewhat.

      • Abraham Lincoln: 16th President of the United States; (little formal education – Lincoln himself estimated approximately one year; home schooling/life experience; later earned a law degree through self study of books that he borrowed from friends)

      • Albert Einstein: Nobel Prize-winning physicist; “Time” magazine’s “Man of the Century” (20th century) (after dropping out of high school, he studied on his own and passed the entrance exam on his second try to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology)

      • Samuel L. Clemens (“Mark Twain”): Best-selling American author and humorist (elementary school dropout)

      • Thomas Edison: Self-made multimillionaire, most famous and productive inventor of all time; invented the filament electric light bulb, phonograph, and motion picture camera; electrical power usage pioneer; Congressional Gold Medal recipient; knighted (France: bestowed the rank of Chevalier, (had no formal education – home schooled)

      • Benjamin Franklin: American politician – diplomat – author – printer – publisher-scientist – inventor; co-author and co-signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence; one of the founders of The United States of America; face is pictured on the U.S. one-hundred dollar bill (little formal education [less than two years]; home schooling/life experience)

      • George Washington: 1st President of the United States; former general; Chairman of the Constitutional Convention; U.S. nickname: “The Father of Our Country”; face is pictured on the U.S. one dollar bill and twenty-five cent coin (quarter) (no formal education; home schooling/life experience; went to sea in his youth)

      • Orville & Wilbur Wright: Aviation pioneers; Congressional Gold Medal recipients

      No. We’d be better off.

And they’re not “rallying for education”, they’re protesting to keep their current benefits without having to pay more into them—which, if they succeed, would mean that the state would have to cut elsewhere, or go bankrupt, in which case they won’t get any benefits.

      @PORTAGUE

There will always be exceptional people like Abraham Lincoln and Einstein who don’t need formal education to succeed on their level. However, for the majority of people that is not the case. The technology that NASA and Boeing develop does not come from uneducated people, it comes from people with advanced engineering degrees.

Although it may be true that children who are home schooled or go to private school do better, that is not a reason to get rid of public education. You have to look at the households the home schooled and private schooled children grow up in. In both, the children have parents that are interested in their education and push them to do well. Kids who live in the inner city, go to inner city schools, and have parents that couldn’t care less about their education will not likely perform as well. Therefore, the public schools do need to be improved because often a good school is the only chance that certain children have. That is not to say that the parents shouldn’t be more responsible, it is just to say that home schooled and private schooled children have many more advantages that lead to your statistic.

You’re right, Godfather. Our country would not be in the state it is in today if it weren’t for our public education system. Parents got lazy and assumed they could trust the state to educate their children.

Only now are some parents beginning to wake up to the lie. Too many of our children are being educated by Socialists. Our own children are being turned against our country. I‘m sure you’re a recent product of the public education system. You’re poor understanding of history and the workings of our own government demonstrates that fact.

Please do some research on your own. Learn the truth. It’s still available if you just put forth a small effort.

      Posted on February 22, 2011 at 12:37pm

What is your evidence that socialists are public school teachers? Just because they want a decent pay and job security? Because they teach evolution instead of creationism, something that has no scientific backing? Because they teach of when our country went wrong as well as where it was victorious?

True, some parents have become lazy and don’t ensure that their children are getting a good education. However, tell that to a single mother who has to work two jobs to support her children. How is someone like that supposed to find time to home school her children when she can hardly find time to sleep. Just saying that parents have become lazy is a little too simplistic of an answer. There is a reason kids from more successful families does well, they have better role models, better schools, more parent interaction in their lives, etc.

It is also true that many of the best inventors did not graduate high school or have formal education, but those people are much more the exception than the rule. Most people need more training and education to become successful in their careers. For example, if it were not for NBA rules, Lebron James would have been the number one draft pick when he was 16 and he would have been ready to play in the NBA at that point. However, most NBA players need more training and development than that. So yes, the greatest minds usually do not need formal education but that does not mean the rest of population doesn’t. The GI bill is what helped lead to the middle class to grow exponentially, That is, with a more educated population more gets done, new technologies are developed and everyone within that society benefits.

Although you may know what a hypocrite is, Glenn surely does not. He spends his entire show ripping on the federal government, but then praises the moon landing. I’m not sure if he knows this, but the moon landing happened because of the federal government.

Also, why do so many people on this site quickly jump to making personal attacks against those whom with they disagree? If you feel that your position is the correct one, you should be able to back it up with evidence and not have to resort to personal attacks.

A question in general about the unions, I have heard many people comment the unions are run along the lines of a large ponzy scheme, or such…could the district attorneys for each state not bring a investigation onto them, if enough initial evidence could be found of criminal conduct?

And then if the evidence is found, bring criminal charges under the RICO statutes or such? I know the current federal AJ office will never challenge the unions this way, at this time, yet what can the states start to do to dismantle these monstrosities where criminal matters are involved?

Today I had to say good-bye to a family that had to close their business, after 24 years. They came to this country, worked their @$$es off 16-18 hours a day , everyday, in restaurants and then started their own restaurant in1987. This couple worked with their family and small staff , all these years, from 8 AM to 11 PM everyday, closing only for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Their kids all went to college and started their own businesses and still helped out their parents. This family worked and prospered. None of their kids ever got into trouble. They paid their bills and taxes and charity to whoever was in need. They never complained, never screached about entitlements.
This is a what a working family is. I am ashamed at those thugs in WI and all over the country who call themselves working families for working 180-190 days a year, for a few hours few days a week and yet keep complaining after living off the labor of families like this family which had to close down their livelihood because they can’t afford to pay taxes and bills, which just keep going up.
To top it off, they are not even complaining about anything or anyone, although after rolling with the punches of this economy, they still lost.
I wish these union thugs had ever worked hard in their lives.

I hope for the best to the family that had lost the business, that is horrible indeed. Please convey my prayers offered up for them for a new beginning and a grand future for them and their children.

Also, maybe the navy would lend the usage of there new laser for a brief time; if it can cut twenty feet of steel per second, then how long would a union building last?

Yes, BUT I SO MISS THE FUNNIES!!! Glenn Beck is a compelling read, a compelling watch, and a thought-provoking caution flag that reminds each of us the DUTY WE HAVE toward our future! You know, the funnies can wait–more important things need our attention!

Radicals want to party again; fine, indeed We The People will accomodate them, there are plenty of jails and courts for any chosing to break the law, and they need to understand it is not 1968 again, it is the new year, and it is the day we continue to take the country back, step by step.

I think the party they want is the 1776 type of revolution against a established government so they are able to rebuild the nation in their own nightmare vision made reality; the one I want to see happen occured in the 1790s if I remember rightly, where the confederation of states finally and totally became the nation we have the United States of America.

I have to wonder how much of that big desk in the office of the POTUS has to be replaced d/aily when Obama keeps slamming his head down upon it saying “Why (slam) can (slam) I (slam) not (slam) get (slam) rid (slam) of (slam) Beck (slam) and (slam) the (slam) Tea (slam) Party (slam)…”

Right after that the phone rings “Mr President, its spooky dude, seems Beck got ahold of his phone number again (slam…desk cracks)

Nice response CopenLoaf, too bad your “we” is only 40% of the american populace so you and every anchor on fox news really needs to stop talking exclusively for the american people. It’s historically comical how christians of the 21st century can embrace a governmental constitution only if it aligns with their religious delusions and demonize the hypothetical and unlikely rise of an islam-based government when their own congregation is only lagging 800 years behind in blind, abhorrent, and reckless violence. Thank “God” christian values have morphed into synonymous vocabulary of the capitalist manual. Where would we be without religous “”“values””"!?!

      Love the desk slam….

      Restoration indeed

      Is what we need

In this time of media chicken feed

      A fundamental creed

Without guiding principle other than need

      Grasping at reeds

      Out of simple greed

      Drunk on mead

      They not heed

      The warning lead

      Demanding unearned meed

      I say we screed

      With speed

      The evil seed

Our garden has filled with weeds

      Wearing tweed

Calling for the Lord’s four steed

      What they’ve failed to knead

Is that the Lord does not answer demands but beads

@ DRGNZ….your comment betrays any sense of objective and reveals a problem and conflict in you not with any position based on facts but rather a deep seated dislike for Christianity. Most individuals like you have rarely studied Christian influences (objectively but rather only to find the negative things desired to be found) around the globe and how it has been the driving force to free groups of people and nations from oppressive tyrants. Christian men and women were some of the first immigrants to this country and it is their ideals of freedom that established the freedoms you now enjoy to be angry and bitter. You are free to criticize Christianity. Of course, because Christianity contains people that are sinners their are shameful things that have been done that I am sure you are more than aware of and should be exposed and confessed, yet I doubt you are quite as familiar with the tremendous good done either by organization or individuals as Christian. Also, Islam under Sharia law would have you beheaded for what they would consider your blasphemous statement if you spoke of their religion as you felt free to do with Christianity. Last time I checked you can’t receive the death penalty for what you have said here in this nation. Yours is a problem with God and his authority so you like to point to Christian people that most definitely behave in hypocritical ways as EVERY person does at times so as to justify yourself. However, pointing to imperfect people does not excuse you from that authority or the standard He has established. Your bitterness is a poison to you and you don’t even realize it, but is most definitely present and visible.

@DRGONZ: We Christians are all too familiar with a statement Christ made, “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” You should become familiar with it too, if you enjoy freedom like “us Christians” do. Perhaps you’ve heard the phrase, “when you point a finger at someone, you point three back at yourself.” That’s a good one for “freedom loving” peeps to remember also!
