I guess Beck is done at Fox, if not we are in big trouble. The fed has run this county for over 50 yrs. Ole’ Rupert has been in the global elitist club for a long time as well. If the globlists want the fed gone they will try to prop up the IMF in its place, then they will be hard to beat. If the people bring down the fed we should be able to return the power to congres and all will be good after that. If they bring it down now we dont have a chance with Obama and the current house and senate. I hope we can hold it together till Jan. 2013. Maybe we can get rid of the CFR members and any one who supports the UN in the 2012 election.

It sounds to me from Hillary like Al Jazeera got the gig. CFR, Tri Lateral and Fed members have a revolving door with the big banks and big pharma and big food… they will all need to be charged with treason and murder after we win back our Republic.

If I am to believe everything I’ve read about the damage the Fed has done in the last couple of decades, I must conclude that the Fed absolutely needs to be eliminated. If you just take into consideration the wrong and ridiculous things that Bernanke has said and done, it makes the case for a complete and forensic audit of the Fed down to the last paper clip. I suspect, because of the obsessive secrecy surrounding the Fed, that what would be revealed would have most of the nation clamoring for it to be shut down.

What do we need the FED for? To continue to ruin this country because they don’t know what they are doing? Bernanke should be relieved of his post and investigated by a special council chosen by the US House of Reps. Can’t trust the DOJ to do it because they need to be investigated too.

No! Corporations should not have to pay income taxes, which only increase the cost of doing business and are passed on to customers/clients anyhow.

In exchange, corporations (and other large organizations such as unions) should be stripped of their right to make unlimited and often anonymous contributions to political campaigns, a “right” which now rests on the fiction that they are persons entitled to freedom of speech.

      Posted on March 26, 2011 at 9:53am

As Showtime says, Congress could abolish the Fed with a simple piece of legislation..

It’s debatable whether this would be a good idea, though. Without the Fed, the government would have no way of earning interest on the money it takes in, except to disperse it among a larger number of local banks which would be even harder to ride herd on than the Fed. This was what Andrew Jackson tried after he decided to kill the 2nd BUS in 1832, with mixed results; some blame Jackson’s Bank War for the wild speculation that followed, followed by depression which lasted into the early 1840s. Of course, the Treasury could simply sit on all its receipts, but this would put the government in the position of the miser who buries his coin in the backyard, “safe” but sterile and kind of stupid.

Some here have defended the gold standard as an alternative to the Fed, but actually between 1913 and 1933 the Fed and the gold standard happily coexisted. Some fault the Fed for its lack of transparency, but it‘s in the nature of central banking that you don’t telegraph in advance what you’re going to do, otherwise unscrupulous and well-positioned insiders might profit from such intelligence. On the other hand, the Fed is chartered by and therefore ultimately responsible to the people’s representatives, and powerful Chairmen from Volcker to Greenspan to Bernanke can be and have been called upon to testify under oath before Congress.

The Fed has sometimes done dumb things, and certainly needs to be made more accountable. On the other hand, for 100 years it’s been an institution remarkably free from corruption. It still bears the stamp of its Wilson-era origins in its maintenance of 12 Federal Reserve Banks, and the balance between its public and private sides could certainly use adjusting, but I’d think twice before doing away with it altogether.

Some of the dumbest, contradictory, progressive reasoning I have ever read. All lies. From inception to monetization, inclusively;  the feds corruptions. The constitution only authorizes the gov to mint. You need an amendment to create a fed. There was no co-existence. There was progressivism. Like Abomicare with no public option when you really want single payer. Pure darwinism; get whatever you need if you just take enough time and add enough presssure.

      Dtom_Jericho:
Where you refer to monetization, I’m guessing you mean monetization of government debt, i.e., pay;ing it down by means of inflation. This is perfectly possible, and all too common, whether or not you have a central bank.

So far as I’m aware the constitutionality of the Fed has been consistently upheld by the courts, though this of course could change. Even Jackson, wheh he axed the 2nd BUS, argued that it was elitist and undemocratic, not that it was unconstitutional.

The Constitution does give Congress the right to “coin money, and regulate the value thereof,” but does not specifically forbid the establishment of a central bank to handle the government’s funds and regulate credit.

For the first 20 years of the Fed’s existence, the gold standard still guaranteed the right to exchange Federal Reserve notes, as well as other money, for gold at a fixed rate of $20/oz., which in essence is what the gold standard amounted to; therefore the gold standard and the Fed coexisted, and could again.

And don’t get too worried about the names that these pollsters say are in the lead. None of these guys can beat Obama. Let me be more specific… none of the white establishment GOP candidates that are being tossed around can beat Obama. In order to beat him we will have to have a nominee that is either a minority or a female. For this next election, you can forget any Conservative white male beating Obama. The left will make the next election all about the mean white man keeping down the poor, the black, the hispanic, the middle class, the elderly, terrorists, even white-face clowns are going to be shunned.

I showed them the info over a couple of hours to the lot of them, with Becks and what other info I have gathered in support, using their own info and words; most of the family – conservatives mind you – did not believe it possible until my aunt simply said two words…

      “End Game.”

My aunt smiled at me then, and stated along with me “Get the word out, people fired up, and for the Spooky Dude and administration, its end game for the progressives.”

Great show, Glenn, but I have one beef.

Why TWO great guests and an audience ? Would have LOVED to hear more from the author dude or even the other smart cat. They had a plethora of info !

Also it makes me CRAZY when you ask a question and won`t let them talk 2 sentences worth !!!! I quit O`Really years ago for that. It smells of an ego blerb. Don`t do that !

If that is the worst you do we call still remain best friends although you don`t know me. Ha !

      Rock on, Mr. Beck.

Two of THE most repressive governmental programs to ever be implemented, were brought into being at approximately the same time. The Federal Reserve, and Income taxes.

Been a slow slide into loss of liberty, social control by an ever-growing government, and socialism ever since

If the fed is such a wonderful and necessary institution then WHY have they fought Ron Paul on opening their books?

The BIGGER problem is that the central banks around the world work in concert. Wanna talk about one world government now?

No we don’t. Two presidents lost their lives because of the FED Kennedy issued executive order11110 effectively preventing the US from borrowing money from the fed. Kennedy was assasinated less that 5 months later. Lincoln started printing money and used it to finance the war effort. because the FED wanted 20% to 36% interest. Lincoln was assisinated shortly after. I hope that beck has alot of security.

It is wicked and seeks profit off of continually creating perpetual debt of the people that eventually gains control over much of our wealth. They continue to create ever increasing debt through a sophisticated system of fractional banking that is little more than a Ponzi scheme that leaves them in control of the spigot. The government being first in line at the spigot of money maintains purchasing power over the rest of society of an ever decreasing currency value. In this way the are incestuous and symbiotic. That is why the governess has never and WILL NEVER deal any significant blow to the privately owned Federal Reserve.

It’s very refreshing to see someone on tv talking the truth, about how the Federal Reserve is and has always been nothing more than a criminal sydicate in partnership with our criminal government.

Yes, end the Fed. I recently learned that the US has 9,000 metric tons of gold in Ft. Know; more than any other nation. It’s valued at approx $400Billion. Problem is that we now have $14TRILLION in national debt. That gold is no where near enough to pay down the debt.

I would love to know who actually owns that gold; the Fed Reserve, the US gov??? We should have never gotten off of the gold standard b/c now the Fed just prints fiat money. I think we are headed towards a Weimar Republic scenario with our currency.

Whoa, whoa, whoa… I know Glen Beck is not advocating changing the system. Weren’t the first four shows this week about how threatening language towards the banking system was economic terrorism? Seems to me Glenn Beck is advocating an overthrow of the government through a transformation of the countries banking system. Everybody needs to flip out now.

Hey Glennnnn! I noticed on your TV program the other night when you had Edward Griffin as a guest, that you tried your damndest to prevent him from going to “Crazy Town” – (one of Glenn Beck’s euphemisms for Alex Jones), when talking about the Federal Reserve. I had to laugh might ass off, despite your efforts, that, low and behold, he went to “Crazy Town” and started talking about the New World Order. Exactly what you tried to steer him away from. I’m not a Glenn B. basher and listen to your radio program regularly. But you do need to come clean. You‘re taking your content cues from Alex Jones and attributing the blame for what’s wrong on Obama’s staff and other liberals instead of the Bilderbergers, Banksters and Corporatists.Perhaps once you leave Fox, the Corporatist hand that feeds you, you’ll wash yourself clean. C’mon Glenn, just take a shower. Just come to “Crazy Town”. You’ve made the long journey to Oz. Now just open the door and walk in. Ahhhh! Now doesn’t it feel great in “Crazy Town”?

Who Is G. Edward Griffin, Beck’s Expert On The Federal Reserve?

On his Fox News show, Glenn Beck presented author G. Edward Griffin as a credible authority on the Federal Reserve. But Griffin has an extensive history of promoting wild conspiracy theories, including the notions that HIV does not exist and that cancer is a dietary deficiency that can be cured with “an essential food compound.”

Griffin Peddles Quack Cancer Remedy He Claims Has Been Covered Up By “Medical Establishment”

Griffin: There’s No Such Thing As HIV — “The Immunodeficiencies Are Caused By The Treatment”

Griffin Film Claims Vapor Trails Left By Jets Are Actually A “Chemtrail/Geo-Engineering Coverup”

Griffin: Goal Of FEMA, DHS During Katrina Response Was “Not To Res[c]ue People, But To Control Them”

Griffin Is “Convinced” That “Oswald Was Not JFK’s Assassin”

So Beck, I thought you said truthers were dangerous, G. Edward Griffin is an admitted truther, a regular on the Alex Jones Show, he spews truher conspiracy theories, chemtrails, and other tin foil het theories.

Does Beck now support the same things that Van Jones supported?
