Posted on March 14, 2011 at 11:56pmI am glad that Glenn is back. The pictures he showed, the words he spoke were of a Nation that is loving, polite & caring to all. This is why Japan will come back as a strong Nation. They are united. There is no rioting. No looting. No name calling. They are patient and kind in an unimaginable tragedy.
Report Post »Then… I read the posts here. I am by no means perfect. But look at what has been posted here. I am so ashamed and embarrassed by the hatred. I’m sick of it. And it is pervasive throughout our land. Our country needs leadership that will bring us all together, not divide us. Look at the violence we perpetrate against each other verbally & physically every day. And the division has been carefully & thoughtfully designed so that we covet others. Ugly, ugly, ugly hearts. The only way to stop this is to bring God back into the town squares, back into the schools, back into our Government leadership and back into our hearts. Satan is the great liar & destroyer. Turn from him & toward God. Please, America, awaken.

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 11:08pmI spent 3 1/2 years in Japan in the Kanto Plains (Tokyo) area. The Japanese people are a strange mixture of friendliness and fear of strangers (Their word, Gaijin, means both foreigner and enemy). And strangely enough, my impression of the Japanese people is completely at odds with what my father had…He was a combat veteran of Guadalcanal, Bougainville, and Leyte. So he had not a kind word to say to any of them and carried his “Japanese Hunting License” in his wallet to the day he died. His generation is almost gone. And along with that, the Japanese people have changed themselves into a wonderful people who do not deserve what is happening to them now. I agree with Beck. They are our friends now, and need their friends more than ever…as do we.
Report Post »Jim in Houston
Posted on March 15, 2011 at 11:11amI too have live there and found the people to be the most friendly and welcoming anywhere, and I have lived all over the world. After ten years since we left, my wife still communicates with her Japanese friends. They will bounce back stronger than ever, because they have character, values and a work ethic much greater than we have here. They don’t expect a hand out, just a hand to help get up.

Posted on March 15, 2011 at 2:28amYou know walkwithme, those blog posts you place under your name causes me to see you in a whole different light. I have read a few of them and I don’t need or care to read anymore. As soon as I see you name on here, I think of those blogs, then automatically discount whatever it is you say.
Brother , you need to leave all that hate and anger behind you and let your past be you past. Whatever it was that happened to you in your life while an innocent and defenseless child, my heart goes out to you, but I promise you, by displacing your internal hurt through your obsessive negative commenting is only forcing to keep reliving this past you so hate.
Let the past be the past brother. Do give those whom have violated you in whatever way it was to have free rent in your mind. I understand, this may be the very force that drives you daily and you are afraid to let the denial go for fear of you may not know who you are with out this hate, but you are wrong. These burdens only take away from who you really are. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict, I understand. I felt naked with out it. You are only feeding you denial by coming here every day and posting over and over again. Seeking out whatever comments you can and manipulating their meaning in order to support the lie you are living. No person has power over you brother, but if you feel the obsession to come to a site you obviously hate and disapprove of, you are granting power to the very people whom your distorted thinking has caused you to believe you are rebelling against. It is DENIAL brother, cunning baffeling and powerful.
You must find some power greater than yourself to restore sanity. This power does not have to be God(as I am sure you despise God), it only has to be greater than your urges to lead you back to posting on this page. You need to have faith i this power, something that takes practice. It is through this power that you can gain your freedom from “Self”, that is, your diseased thinking. It is considered diseased because it endures “DIS- EASE”, in you life. Causing you stress , anger, and clearly obsession. This causes you life to be unmanageable, even though your denial will insist otherwise. So it is very important you face this dillema with rigorous honesty, open mindedness, and willingness. Honesty, so that you can truly see the exact nature of your problems. Open mindedness , in order to seek the answers that lie outside of your diseased thinking. Remember, you only know what you know brother, so to keep doing what your doing and expecting different result is the definition of insanity. Your goal is to gain sanity, which will require the last part, WILLINGNESS.
Sadly, I am afraid you may not be ready to hear my message until you hit rock bottom. Most of those like yourself feel safe in your familiar bed of suffering. Yes, you may be suffering, but at least it is suffering you are familiar with. Thus, you know the results and what to expect, but I will pray for you anyways brother. I ask all my brothers and sisters her on the blaze to pray for you, JZS, and Broker. In God speed my friend …

Posted on March 15, 2011 at 12:43pm@encinom – Who is the one trying to re-write history? Seems to be you Encinom.
http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/fact-sheets/3mile-isle.html
Your own government states:
“even though it led to no deaths or injuries to plant workers or members of the nearby community.”
And…
“Detailed studies of the radiological consequences of the accident have been conducted by the NRC, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now Health and Human Services), the Department of Energy, and the State of Pa.. Several independent studies have also been conducted. Estimates are that the average dose to about 2 million people in the area was only about 1 millirem. To put this into context, exposure from a chest x‑ray is about 6 millirem. Compared to the natural radioactive background dose of about 100‑125 millirem per year for the area, the collective dose to the community from the accident was very small. The maximum dose to a person at the site boundary would have been less than 100 millirem.”
So who is trying to re-write history? Glenn or you? It would appear to be you Encinom.

“The cancer findings, along with studies of animals, plants and chromosomal damage in Three Mile Island area residents, all point to much higher radiation levels than were previously reported,” said Steven Wing, an associate professor of epidemiology at the University of North Carolina and co-author of the study. “If you say there was no high radiation, then you are left with higher cancer rates . . . that are otherwise unexplainable.”
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/tmi/stories/study022497.htm
A 2006 study on the standard mortality rate in children in 34 counties downwind of TMI found an increase in the rate (for cancers other than leukemia) from 0.83 (1979–83) to 1.17 (1984–88), meaning a rise from below the national average to above it.
Mangano, Joseph (2006), “A short latency between radiation exposure from nuclear plants and cancer in young children”, International journal of health services, vol:36 iss:1 pg:113-135

Beck presented a twisted version of history and facts to tie Soros in with the dangerous situation in Japan. Even the Blaze is speaking out of both sides of its mouth with the articles it is posting, some playing up the danger, some playing it down.
