Beck ‘Water Boards’ Radio Co-Host With Ensure to Mock ‘60 Minutes’ Report

You may have already heard of (or seen) the arguably over-the-top “60 Minutes” interview between Leslie Stahl and former Director of the National Clandestine Service, Jose Rodriguez, on the waterboarding and overall treatment of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM). In the wake of Stahl’s visible outrage over discovering KSM’s diet was fortified with Ensure nutritional supplement shakes (an “Orwellian tactic,” she said), Glenn Beck and one of his co-hosts, Pat Gray, took no prisoners — literally — and decided to show Stu Burguiere what torture really looks like (Stu thought being fed Ensure was not torture, while Gray maintained, quite cheekily, it was).
And well, it looks… delicious.

My relative was in hospital with cancer and had to take ensure because he was not able to eat regular food but he never complained so I believe it to be ok.
The second reminded me of a trip I and hubby took with my Bro and Sis-in-Law. We had stopped someplace in Wyo where I got food poisoning of some kind and had to stop at about ever gas station along the way to Utah. Finally my sis-in-law stopped at a store and got kaopectate and I took not knowing how bad it tasted and complained about it all the way to Salt Lake City and said I rather had the other problem of stopping then drink that stuff lol Oh those were the days. Every single navy pilot and naval flight officer had to go to SERE school ( Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape ) if they were deployed to the Far East or Indian Ocean AOR’s. During this survival school, we were “captured” and we were all provided the opportunity to be water boarded without being asked if you know what I mean. I would guess about 70% of us had it done to us for about 20-30 minutes. Enough time to get your attention… I do not feel like I have been damaged for life because of it either. I definitely would have talked if they continued… Did I feel like I was drowning? Yep. But I also knew that having your head down below feet level, there was no way of drowning and no one has EVER been killed by water boarding. I knew that, bad guys know that but your mind says differently. I am amazed how the liberals think this is so inhumane… It is not. Would I want to do it again? Nope… But I think it is a viable option to use on those bad guys…

Tells me that she had that question earlier and was going to use it regardless of what was said.
