During his Monday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck examined what the possible motives could be for Ecuador to provide asylum to Julian Assange — and the answers may shock you. For Beck, the move exposes a deeper animosity for America and the West than may have initially met the eye.

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 8:05amAll Americans should read the lefty posts here, ridiculing Beck for telling the truth about Obama and foreign leaders. Their posts are a microcosm of the Alinsky rules for radicals. They ridicule those who tell the truth in an effort to discredit them. However, they tell more about themselves than they do about the person they are ridiculing.

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 1:00pmI believe a lot of Americans, like Beck, hate Assange because he has revealed to the rest of the world a U.S. that we don’t want to admit exists. Leaders such as Correa, Chavez, Fernandez de Kirchner were elected by their people and we have no right to meddle in their affairs. Are they socialist? Yes. Apparently, their people wanted socialist governments because they are the ones who elected them. Calling them evil because they are friendly with (gasp) Ahmedinajad is ridiculous and takes paranoia to a new level.
John Pilger’s “War On Democracy” takes a hard look at the meddling of America in the affairs of Central and South America. Watch it, and you may not be surprised why they, as Glenn said, “hate America.”

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 11:00amGood for you. The main point about these so-called socialist countries is that they don’t support the worldwide bankster fraud scheme and Israel.
He strays so far from the truth sometimes one wonders.
Socialism exists perfectly in church. Stranded communities and colonies rely on a certain amount of it. Its can easily be turned into a boogeyman by evil leaders, such as Hitler, true.
But, Beck should realize the real enemies, which he so often fails to do.
Nothing will get better until the banksters are arrested and convicted. They are seeding the clouds with aluminum and betting on bad weather for gods sake.
Stop with the side issues, beck. It gets really boring.
Report Post »StanO360
Posted on August 21, 2012 at 12:59pmtropicgirl – just saying “banksters” is not an argument. I don’t care if these 3rd world (or for Venezuela 2nd world) countries want to go down the primrose path. Let them destroy themselves, just don’t come begging. It’s all been done before, the same mistakes.
So your answer is always more government, yet government manipulation and protection, and polices are the problem. Your so called “banksters” wouldn’t exist without (or they would be short lived) the government protection. More government/regulation=more opportunity for fraud and manipulation.
The free market crushes frauds and liars, if a business cheats you what do you do? You never do business with them again, and you tell everyone you know not to.

You couldn’t be further from the Truth. From Pope Pius IX 1846 – 1878(the Pope of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engel’s time period “The Communist Manifesto” (1848)) to the current Pope Benedict XVI have all written and or spoken about the intrinsic evils of Socialism, Communism and Nihilism. Here is a site that has just a few excerpts from Encyclicals and such. Every form of Marxist philosophy is irreconcilable to living the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Glenn created the contradiction between good and evil? Really?
When one has no sense of right or wrong; if all is good, then there is no belief in an ‘ideal’.
Glenn, and others, believe that there is a right and wrong way to do things (ie run a government, devise an economy, distribute wealth). Things that tend to behaviors that lead to the ideal are considered ‘good’, those that tend to behaviors that lead away from or erase the ideal are called evil.
If there is no right or wrong, there is no evil.
As a religious person, that goes against everything I believe in.
Beck does not make-up boogeymen that we may be polarized, he points out the ones who, if followed, will take you down the path of misery. This may be a specific person or an ideology, either way, they are evil.

It’s nonsense.

“If there is more evil then there is less good.”
“If there is more good then there is less evil.”
First, Romans 5:19-21 would contradict your assertion- “19 Just as by one man’s disobedience [Adam] many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience [Jesus Christ] are many to be made upright. 20 When law came on the scene, it was to multiply the offences. But however much sin increased, grace was always greater; 21 so that as sin’s reign brought death, so grace was to rule through saving justice that leads to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Second, by that dualistic assertion, you are making a paradigm where the Power and Spirit of God is equal to, if not subjugated to the power of Satan, which isn’t theologically correct in the Judeo-Christian theology. In “secular” words, you are creating a pie chart/tin where good and evil are confined to a finite space in which if one increases the other must decrease.

There is NO DIFFERENCE between what he did and whoever leaked the White House leaks. If anything – the White House KILLED someone. Wikileaks just embarrassed Obama’s Administration.
If the White House can get away with killing an ICE and border patrol agent and 200 Mexicans AND get away with leaking tons of our foreign intelligence to promote Obama – so should this Wiki leaks guy.
I also HATE deception. Those “rape” charges were DROPPED. The USA asked them to be resurrected as an excuse to get him to Sweden so the USA could take him. EVERYONE KNOWS THIS. Well nothing really. We got trillions in debt from our wars, we have thousands of dead soldiers and tens of thousands of maimed soldiers, we have most of the world not liking us anymore. We got stretched too thin being engaged in a war while a major recession was taking place. It turned out really bad. Our wars became PC nation building experiments that have failed.

Now, I know from Beck I should be afraid of rich intellectual Jews like Piven, Soros and Alinsky. I know that European socialism is migrating to America. I know China is bad and that the Canadian health care system really sucks. I know that Iran and Russia want to destroy us. Beck’s explained that all Muslims, which are 20% of the world’s population all want to kill us. I know that all Christians who believe in social justice and helping the poor actually only want to enslave Americans by the philosphies insprired by the devil himself. Of course liberals and most any Democrat, and almost all Republicans for that matter (such as the uber-liberals John McCain and John Boehner) also want to destroy our freedoms. They were going to revolt and overthrow the country according to Glenn. I guess their plan was delayed, but it still makes me very, very afraid.
I also understood from Glenn that the world was about to be divided into three antagonistic groups by the rise of this caliphate thing that, mysteriously he’s stopped talking about.

Wake up people. How many times does someone have to say wake up before people actually do? Any candidate, any representative, any public official that has voted for or has said they would have voted for or signed into law, this killing legislation of freedom, along with the Patriot Act, should be discarded and never looked upon again. If we continue to hold our noses, just because we are afraid, we will continue to fall into the abyss of liberty lost, deeper and deeper.

1. I still think many of the Ron Paul supporters are complete loons, however i do like much of what Ron Paul stands for.
2. This is for you loyal puppy dog follower. Those are not statements, it is a list and for the most part lack any statement, so how can you state that it is true? It’s like me posting this
Ron Paul: Bases in Every Muslim Country
Then some complete moron saying. “That is totally true! Now lets see how long it takes for any idiots to debate that truth!”
Now for a few questions:
1. Are you for the free market? Then why are you against sending jobs to foreign contries, in direct conflict with free market economists like Henry Hazlitt and Von Mises?
Report Post »2. Is Ron Paul a Libertarian? Then why did he lie and go on the Republican ticket? I guess it is ok to lie to try and get more money for your campaign?
3. With your list are you trying to say that a Governor of a state can vote on federal legislation? Just a guess since you have no clarifying statement on your list.

Posted on August 20, 2012 at 11:52pmCrazed, Ron Paul is a Republican, but is also a Conservative Libertarian, just like me. I have been a registered Republican ever since I first voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980, who also was actually a Conservative Libertarian at heart. So get it right. And I know Time_2 is going to have some kind of BS statement on this, but here it goes anyway:
“If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals — if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.” – Ronald Reagan

Posted on August 20, 2012 at 11:59pm@Brother Winston Smith So do you think Obama is better? I’m not going to claim that Romney and Ryan are perfect but they are a darn sight better than Obama. We are in emergency status here and must get the cockroaches out of power. Care to argue differently?
Report Post »West Coast Patriot
Posted on August 21, 2012 at 12:13amDougral, None of us believe that Obama is better, we just think that their really is not a dimes difference between the two. Both are for big government, both are for the Patriot Act, NDAA, bailouts, stimulus and a host of other freedom and free market killing legislation. Did you read my post above about the ex-marine that is being held indefinitely for his facebook page? That is what the NDAA and Patriot Act do for all of us. Romney would be OK if you are for loss of liberty through these type of government intrusions. Go ahead and vote for Romney, Paul supporters will vote for anyone but Obama and Romney, and we will see where the cards lay in the end.

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 12:18amcrazedbanshee ANSWERED…
I realize this is foreign to Blazers, but what I’m about to do… is ANSWER QUESTIONS AND REFUTE THE FALSE PREMISES. I won’t name-call. My “reply” will NOT include “pot smoker” “momma’s basement“ or ”tinfoil hat.”
PARTIAL TRUTH:
“it is a list”
WHOLE TRUTH:
It is a list of LEFTIST POLICIES, PUBLICLY SUPPORTED and/or IMPLEMENTED by Romney.
QUESTION:
“Are you for the free market?”
ANSWER:
Yes. Including EQUAL competition. Jobs “go to other countries” because of UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION/REGULATION HEAPED ON AMERICAN ENTERPRISE. They also “go to other countries” because of UNPATRIOTIC, GLOBALIST slimeballs who do so for profit, while sacrificing American strength. The same kind of slimeball who would BYPASS AMERICAN LAWN WORKERS for CHEAPER illegal alien workers – then claim “oooopsy… I didn’t know.”
QUESTION:
“Is Ron Paul a Libertarian?”
ANSWER:
No. He is a Constitutional Libertarian. And is completely truthful about it. As opposed to Mitt Romney, who claims to be a “moderate republican” but is a progressive socialist. Who better personifies… “republican?”
QUESTION:
Report Post »“are you trying to say that a Governor of a state can vote on federal legislation?”
ANSWER:
No. PUBLICLY SUPPORTING something warrants inclusion… like when Romney PUBLICLY STATES “I would have signed NDAA.” True, he didn’t actually “vote” for NDAA, like Paul Ryan, but he CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE.
TIME_2_END_THE_PAUL_CAMPAIGN_IN_12
Posted on August 21, 2012 at 12:29amLEFT COAST PARROT. Reagan held fault with many in the Libertarian party due to their Socialist tendencies towards zero government and likened himself, rather, a “Libertarian-Conservative” as you stated. But today… we call ourselves Reagan-Republicans. Libertarians engaged in conversation, to include those researched and others as well, hold faith in the abolishment of government as it is today… they would go so far as coddle our gravest enemies. That is not a Conservative’s position… it is Socialists who sign treaties with their enemies of war.
Looking back to Reagan’s advice LEFT C P, a Liberal in his day would have actually been more appropriately labeled as a Tory as you quoted (supporting a sort of monarchy-like government where a “King” dictates from on high controlling, subjugating the population and supporting government through ruthless, illegal taxation). While the Conservative more truly fit the Liberal moniker (fighting the establishment towards a goal of smaller rule, less interference in the lives of the populace, less taxation, a more secure state through self-governing, etc). Those aspects fit the Libertarian platform well 35 years ago. When Reagan opened up for political introspection all those years back, we had a clearer definition… Tories, Liberals and Libertarians. Today it’s Liberals, Conservatives and Libertarians. Most of us have come to realize “moderate” is a “misnomer”… and Libertarians are dangerously radical.

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 12:57amTime_2, Just as I said, I knew you would throw some type of BS in there. No Conservative Libertarian would coddle to our enemies, we would just find who our real enemies are by following the Constitution. We are not against going to war with a country that is truly a threat to our way of life and freedoms. We would just not act like dictators and do things by the word of one man or other nations. We would get the people to determine who we go to war with through their representatives. You can spin things anyway you want, but you will never get it right as long as you are OK ,which you have said in the past, with letting the government dictate what individuals can and cannot do, short of violating another’s individual freedoms. Face it Time_2, you have socialistic leanings since you are OK with big federal governments. I am for limited federal government and for the states having more power, as that gives the people more power to decide what they want and do not want. I am not for no government, I just want the freedom to choose what laws are best for me. If it is at state levels, each state would be different and I could choose which state laws best support my positions over another states. That is called a Republic form of government. You are OK with Democracy, a form of socialism.

Posted on August 21, 2012 at 2:34amYou Libertarians have some good ideas, particularly regarding government intrusions, but in the real world our choices for the upcoming election are between Romney and Obama; deal with it. You, of course, have the right to enter a Ron Paul protest vote which won’t just merely be meaningless, you might just help Obama to have another four years to screw up our Country to the point of no return. If you really dislike intrusion into our lives, your token Paul vote may actually vault Obama into programs that you haven’t even imagined yet. Yeah, Romney‘s not much to look forward to but at least I don’t see him surrounding himself with Socialists and/or Maoists and being ashamed or apologizing for our Country. Casting meaningless votes isn’t a part of the solution, it’s a part of the problem. Think about what your wasted votes might be doing to your children for many years to come.
Report Post »West Coast Patriot
Posted on August 21, 2012 at 3:44amFstEti, The problem with your statement is that it is between Romney and Obama, not true yet. Romney will not win, I am telling you. He cannot win without the liberty movement of Ron Paul. Sure, he will win some states that are a shoe in for him, but it will be the toss up states where he needs the Paul supporters. Romney and the establishment GOP blew their chances at Paul supporters with their Obama style politics. I believe there was rampant voter fraud. Romney won Nevadas straw poll? My son lives in the most populated area of Nevada, in Pahrump, close to Vegas. I visited him there and drove all over Pahrump and Vegas. Not one Romney sign, but hundreds upon hundreds of Paul signs. I talked to a lot of people there. None for Romney, a few for Gingrich, but most were for Paul. Now how did Romney pull that one off? Then, when Paul won the delegates, Romney and the GOP formed a shadow party! Unbelievable. Obama is only 35 electoral votes from victory according to this projection:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map.html
Now, take out the battleground states he will lose because of the way he treated Paul supporters:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map_no_toss_ups_race_changes.html
I would say that Romney has not just an uphill battle, but he is climbing Mt Everest. Paul would win by a landslide as he would attract many Bluedog Democrats.

People casting meaningful votes for almost 100 years has got us where we are now. It’s always the lesser of two evils when good is standing by wondering why everyone is so fixated on evil. You go to a store and they have a special, FREE ice cream if you pick what everyone else picks. There’s motor oil mint, toxic frog frappe and vanilla/chocolate swirl but nobody picks that (says the MSM manager) so don’t waste your vote.
What I can‘t understand is that almost every supporter of Romney doesn’t like the guy, and in fact would prefer Ron Paul and his policies. We all know that Romney is just the pendulum swinging the other way and the blade drops another inch. If every person who is afraid to “waste their vote” would grow a pair and do what is right for their country Dr. Ron Paul would win by a landslide. Democrats are waking up to the travesty they put into power and see Dr. Paul as a viable option. But go ahead and stay asleep, give your children and grandchildren 4 years of this guy:

You are complete loons that try to make ridiculous statements that you are the only ones that know any truth. Any debate against what you say is partial truth, that is called arrogance and a lack of humility and stupidity.
Report Post »Your statement that Ron Paul did not lie about who he is by going on the Republican ticket is a joke and easily refutable. He ran on the Libertarian ticket earlier in his political career, then realized that there aren’t enough loons in the country to be elected, so he moved to the Republican ticket to appeal to a broader base and get more funding.
Laughable you say you will call no names, then call capitalists sleaze balls for producing goods for the cheapest amount possible over seas. Again totally going against Austrian economics, which by the way Ron Paul gets many of his economic ideas from. I agree that gov’t policies negatively affect trade, but for you to blame the capitalist is ridiculous. The truth of the matter is that we do have a global economy and without trade to and from other nations the U.S.A, or any nation for that matter would struggle. Another reason you are complete loons, your understanding of world economics is non-existent, yet spew your economic nonsense.

Posted on August 20, 2012 at 10:37pmLet’s talk about the “8 Families”–the Jewish International Banking Cartel. This relatively small group of people have been controlling world affairs for centuries! They instigate wars and finance both sides. They even financed Hitler. It is written that the Rothschilds alone control nearly HALF the net worth of the entire world–TRILLIONS of dollars. Collectively the 8 families control all the Central Banks, most of the minerals, precious metals, OIL, drugs, farming and all the major stock markets. Yet they want MORE! How much is enough? How many of them are there? How many mothers must weep for a lost son in a meaningless war? (On any side!) For what? Because these greedy power mongers want more power, more money and want to enslave the entire world? Because of them, the US has played world policeman at great cost. Time to pull back inside our borders, cut all foreign intervention, cut all foreign aid. We are a resource rich nation and can easily be self-sufficient. We must remove these “Overlords of Chaos”–the 8 Families from having any influence on the United States.
