Beck: ‘You Haven’t Lived Until You‘ve Been Threatened by the Nation of Islam’

You haven‘t lived until you’ve been threatened by the Nation of Islam…and sometimes, you don’t live after the Nation of Islam threaten’s your life.”

Those were the opening remarks of a segment on Tuesday evening’s episode of the Glenn Beck Program in which Glenn revealed how he was threatened by none other than rabid Antisemite Louis Farrakhan — or at least by his henchmen at The Nation.

The NOI official newspaper wrote over the weekend that Glenn Beck “is a minion of the Synagogue of Satan and as such represents the thinking of those used as their low-level pawns.”

The author continued: “The Holy Qur’an teaches Muslims to never be the aggressor in word or deed, but if attacked, we fight with those who fight with us.”

Sounds a tad threatening, no?

Glenn responded on his program by taking NOI and Farrakhan to task, exploring the movement and their vitriolic leader’s history of violence. He also delved into the reasons why he said Farrakhan and NOI might be a threat to President Obama.

Many will recall the fate that befell Malcolm X once he broke with The Nation.

    Glenn must have “hit the mark” regarding the Nation of Islam. Does the majority of the American people believe that Farrakhan is an asset to the nation? Or is he a threat? What information does the DOJ or the CIA has about him?

    We must pray for Glenn. No evil can come against Glenn by just telling the truth about the Nation of Islam. The Lord is on his side.

      This article is certainly not a news article. In fact, even as an opinion piece, it seems as if it is written by a person filled with paranoia. The Nation of Islam may indeed be a threatening entity, but without a real story giving real examples, what is the excuse of Blaze editors for putting up this story? The story quotes an NOI article that says, “The Holy Qur’an teaches Muslims to never be the aggressor in word or deed, but if attacked, we fight with those who fight with us.” and asks we, the readers, ‘Sounds a tad threatening, no?’ Quite frankly, no, it doesn’t sound the least bit threatening. In fact, millions of fathers in America teach the same to their male offspring for their own survival. And what’s with that reference, ‘Many will recall the fate that befell Malcolm X once he broke with The Nation.’? Maybe the case is made in the video of Glenn, but I’m simply referring to the news article. This site began as a great alternative to the MSM, but it has steadily been going downhill. If you can’t give us news, at the least you can provide informative facts to go along with a ‘story’ such as this.

      When I lived in Houston the Nation of Islam would hand out copies of thier newsletters at traffic lights. If you asked for one they would give it to you. I would tear it up right in front of them…Loved it.

      for KEVIN THE ELDER: Not everything in the newspaper is news either. There are always going to be articles of opinion or articles to fill out the page on a slow day. Lighten up! Life is too short to be so critical. In a 24 hour newscycle what do you really expect? If you are looking for perfection and constant news without any repeats or fluff articles…good luck with that. You won’t find it anywhere you look. We should be thankful there is not alot of news because most of it is not good. If you are seeking perfection then keep searching and let us all know where you found it!

      Beck, I’m getting a little wearisome of your “special burden” of being a channel-er of truth.

      I understand the “burden”, I do. Can’t take the heat? You know how to fix it. Stop with the ‘I’m a special victim’ B.S. Are you back on the sauce?

      If NoI “IS” threatening you, say so. That’s fine. I’ll accept that.

      I got months of death threats to me and my family for an op-ed piece I wrote in a local paper about the local department of education waste and fraud. Of course, I don’t make a national issue out of it. But it WAS union members who made the threats.

      Want sympathy? Too bad. This “IS” reality. Get used to it. Your family “can’t take it any more?” let them go. If you love them and they are being threatened because of you, I would. If they don’t go, then suck it up. No one leaves this Blue Marble alive, we all owe a death.

      Either stand for something or get out of the way.

      I sincerely pray that Glen is not harmed, nor anyone who works for or associates with him. If such a tragedy were to occur I bet the DOJ (our former dept. of justice) would likely ignore it. After all, you know what Eric Holder thinks… it‘s not a hate crime if it’s black on white. God help us, the patients are guarding the asylum.

      Amen to that! I’ll never understand how these people can claim they are a religion of peace and then in the same breath, threaten someones life.
      Do you think it would be bad if I left a message on their website? Probably not a good idea. This makes me so angry but I have to count to 10 and pray. Because I am a Christian, the true religion of peace.

    Wouldn’t that just be the ultimate irony, President Obama, the greatest hope for Liberals to ever reach the Oval Office dies a martyr‘s death at an assassin’s hand. He becomes an icon of heroism and a true messiah figure in the eyes of US citizens, allowing whoever knows how to capitalize the opportunity to rally everyone behind their cause.

    Implausible, but not unheard of. Tactics such as this are a hallmark of many of the power struggles in ancient societies, princes or heirs to the throne would murder the man on it, then seize it in the name of “honoring the noble king.”

    As Tom Clancy once said, “the difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense.”

      One thing I have wondered about since his election is if he does have some kind of martyrdom wish; to really secure his place in the history books once and for all…I dont know.       You are being naive and silly so let me educate you. I am 48 now I grew up Jewish in queens NY at 9 10 11 all the way to16 I had to fight my self to and back home from school the black kids hated whites but hated white Jews even more. Farrakhan Sharp ton and Jackson were stirring things up all the way back in the 70s. There are Tends of thousands of us that grew p in the streets and we know all about him. The threat is only magnified now because of the current president and the 20 yrs these groups have been receiving money weapons from Libya and other despots-whatglenn at this time period is bringing to the surface is after 40 years of planning in Chicago they are ready to fight but most Jews are well aware of his threat –I am 6 foot 1 225 lbs with 2 sons all of us trained in combat so if it comes down to it we will do what we have to do -OI have grown up and listened to this hateful stuff my whole life but never backed down from a fight never from the age of nine 2on 1 3 on 1 I did what i had to do

      Glenn never said that Saddam and Khadafi had weapons of mass destruction, and Farrakhan admits to creating the “atmosphere that led to the assassination of Malcolm X.” The hate monger Farrakhan speaks in the most disgusting language of all, when he called President Obama “an assassin”. This, in addition to making disparaging remarks about Glenn, whites, as he calls them, and Jews, in particular. Farrakhan is a national embarrassment, and so are all of his defenders.

      Menticide, I‘ve actually started checking out Alex Jones’ stuff because of the media black out of Ron Paul. When he has credible sources he doesn’t seem that bad. He may be inacruate at times with his conslusions, but I don’t see him intentionally lying to his audience yet. Since I’ve just recently started looking, can you provide examples of his lies?

      I’ve got a great example, one that I can personally attest to, because if it wasn’t a lie, I’d probably wouldn’t be typing this right now. Over a decade ago Jones took to the airwaves telling lies about computer failures, power plants shutting down, and martial law being declared. Now, never mind the fact that none of this was actually happening, because I’ve got the example that I could prove with my own eyes. One of the actual power plants he was referring to was a nuclear plant that was right down the street from me, and that he claimed was currently in meltdown, I could actually stick my head out of the window, and see that wasn’t happening. Furthermore, if it had happened, I wouldn’t be here to respond, would I?

      @Menticide, Fair enough man. Like I said I just started checking him out for myself. I’ve heard tales that he was way out there, but haven’t seen it myself yet. BTW, did he every retract what he said, since he was obviously wrong? I checked out an interview he had with Reagan’s Secretary of Education on Agenda 21 stuff in our schools that seemed pretty legit. So I‘m guessing if he’s getting information from credible experts it’s good stuff, but usually that’s not the case? GB’s been using some less than credible experts lately, and some of his material seems to be a little weaker than it used to be. Almost like he’s using experts that fit into his narrative. Like his terrorism expert from the CBN, an overly religous zealot military expert, the preacher historian, and a Rabbi with a questionable past.

      It always leaves me a bit bemused when I think about some black Americans who enthusiastically embrace the religion of the very people who captured their ancestors and sold them to the slave traders.

      A brief study of the subject reveals that it was, in most cases, muslim arabs who raided the settlements of africans and made a lot of money from the sale of their captives.

      This is not to let everyone else involved off the hook, by any means, but I find it odd that so many african-americans want to be muslims.

      That said, I suppose that one might say the same thing about Christianity.

    Started listening to the teachings of Farrakahn in 1983. Was at the Million Man March in 1995. Had nothing but respect for him and his teaching. I’m recognized as black, I’m conservative by nature, I believe in the founding principles of our founding fathers. Farrakahn is a fool. He is evil. His teaching has no place in this land. He calls everyone else the devil and he is the one doing his work.

    Let me get this straight America, every Black man, Muslim man and so on in the world wants to come to America! OK so I ask myself why? I search the dark continent on the internet and one of the first search’s: “Rape a Common African past time” also Highest reported baby rapes in the world. Then I search Middle East Muslims: “Muslims stone women to death” also ” Muslims have always persecuted Christians.” the Muslim Masters, from what I gathered didn’t discriminate either filling their boats with millions of white and black CHRISTIAN slaves.
    America is a beacon for Freedom, Human rights, etc.. I get that. There are a lot of people on her land that cannot think for themselves, like sheep. They are drawn to their race like they do in prison. America was built on Christian values. To allow other religions to set up shop and over power your own CHRISTIAN faith will be your demise. In my eyes. I can’t see why everyone can’t get along.

      Curious, you use one line in complete ignorance or perhaps willful disregard of the context of the rest of what he said. In case you did not know, the “hear something say something” in this case was a reference to publishing or making public any threats against groups, IE Tea Party groups being given a very thorough auditing by the IRS.

      In my experiences when you get 1 or 2 alone the fight is easy as the biggest falls must worry more when they travel in packs of 4-6 but they back down easy after you take care of business on the one with the loudest mouth. There will be a day and coming soon after the dollar crashes that this well thought out Chicago machine along with perhaps the release of prisoners and coordination with gangs all get together when and if times get as tough as I and Glenn has expressed think it will get thanks to the FED and Obama –things lining up for a pretty ugly struggle
