Glenn Beck had an emotional reaction to the news of Friday’s mass shooting in Aurora, Colo. at the opening of “The Dark Knight Rises,“ saying there is a ”hole in the soul of America.”
(Visit The Blaze’s separate page on the shooting for all the latest news and updates)
“Let’s be very clear, I don’t know if this guy had any political motivation, I do know this: He’s a monster,” Beck said. “I don’t know who will be the first to politicize this, I don‘t know who will be the first to say it’s a problem with guns and on the other side, I don‘t know who will be the first to say it’s a problem with Hollywood. Let me be the first to say there is a hole in the soul of America.”
Watch the entire segment below:
Beck also ended his show by encouraging people to see the movie so as not to let the “terrorists” win, and he reiterated that the suspect in this shooting is, in fact, a “terrorist”:

Not only that, you decide to write poorly and insult a man you who not trying to make any political gain from this shooting. You have nothing good to say. You are just like every other liberal. You are no one special. When you there is a national tragedy you try to blame those who don’t agree with your politics instead of feeling sad for those who are hurt. You are a stereotype my friend. Instead of trying to blame this on a political motive, help those who are in need and show kindness. You don’t need a god to do that.

Sorry I raped, stole from you, killed your kid in a drunk driving accident, held you down and took your lunch money while I beat you up, spilled radioactive waste and chemicals all over the planet just to save my company a few bucks, beat down mixed married and gay couples, etc…all those years ago. Well, I‘m saved now so it’s okay. My slate has been washed clean. I’m not perfect, just forgiven, tee hee. Jebus forgave me so all those nasty things I did don’t count now. How convenient. Posted on July 20, 2012 at 11:39amGlenn, Rush, Hannity, and the others need to call out Hollywood and the “Oby loving media” on this.
(With respect to families and neighborhood) One small shooting and it’s an all media and Oby blitz. “Get rid of all guns!” But Nancy hales OWS while saying she doesn’t know much about them, and Oby simply doesn‘t look twice when OWS riots and chant ’kill the police’. This is a full out Liar VS Liar war against America, and you can bet your butt that Progressives will win. We are STILL saying “let’s pray”, while at the mean time Francis, Jones, Pelosi, and Ayers have been planning this down to the second for over 30 years! THEY ARE WINNING and they WILL take everything, INCLUDING God!
This time (again, with respect to family) Oby, Holder, & Pelosi paid a man to shoot a baby point blank in order to advance a damn piece of paper! These people are pure evil! They need to meet their wrath from God!

One form of nourishment that really bothers me is Beck’s use of profanity as I listen to him and then his Christlikeness as I listen to him. Understand me, I love listening to the guy, hope he profits beyond measure, BUT JEEZ, why the casual worldly spirit breaking profanity? The two do not coincide. It’s as if he serves two Gods. Just asking.

Posted on July 20, 2012 at 12:10pmYou are correct. Wait until there’s not enough food … or water … or electricity. Very few will then be able to get out of the city. For those living in the city with no possibility of getting out, you had better begin making plans with your neighbors as when this time comes, those not aligned with others simply will not survive. If nothing happens, making plans with neighbors will still be a positive point in your lives. If something does happen (as I believe it will shortly), those alliances and plans will very possibly be THE thing that saves the lives of you and your families.

Posted on July 20, 2012 at 11:30am9/11 was the turning point when we could see that God was no longer blessing this country. Psalm 33:12 ~ Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.~ We have pulled away from him, we promote Gay Marriage, (sodomy) abortion, (taking innocent life) we have idols of money, corruption, and selfishness, infidelity, greed, lying, false religion, and hypocrisy, murder, drunkeness, and alcohol abuse, and child molestation. Is it any wonder the almighty is very angry with us! This tragedy is yet another reminder that lives are precious and we can be snuffed out in a second…its time to realize where our blessings come from…and acknowledge him, pray to him for forgiveness to heal this nation.

Yet another Cons saying “we brought it on ourselves”. Funny, whenever a liberal says that (a la Rev. Wright) they get crucified for it. But when Cons, like that dude from the 700 Club, said it Righties were curiously silent.

Posted on July 20, 2012 at 12:12pmSo you admit that we do bring it on ourselves by turning away from God. Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farakhan are bringing it on themselves by blathering their lies. Which is why I’m sure you are a miserable wretch of a human being, because you do not know the truth, you do not acknowledge the truth, and you have to make stuff up, like Farakhan and Wright do. I believe in a fair and honest debate, not ones premised in lies.

Posted on July 20, 2012 at 12:26pmSimple truth:
“So by his reasoning God is punishing us for not being good enough at worshiping him? I guess that absolves the accused shooter then doesn’t it.”
First of all, God does not punish anyone for not being a good enough worshipper. He punishes to correct us, to get us to turn back to him. For in his presence there is mercy and comfort, something that a scoffer will never experience. And this is just a symptom of the disease of turning away from Him, it is not His punishment, but the natural outcome of turning away from Him. I for one, am grateful that He is and forever will be there for those who turn to Him and seek after Him, those families that will seek His comfort for the pain they are experiencing today. A man did this, not God, but the man did this only because He did not have the light of the Lord guiding him in love, in mercy, in lovingkindness; turning away from God leads to darkness, for He is the light of the world, and the light does not coexist with darkness, but dispels it.

Posted on July 20, 2012 at 11:54amEver hear of the Roman empire? Ever hear of Chairman Mao? Ever hear of the Soviet Union? Ever hear of a fascist named Hitler? How about a little man named Castro, or his buddy Che? What about the Spanish Inquisition. The world has been filled with darkness from the beginning of mankind. It is our choice; we can choose to be the light, or we can be part of the darkness. You who are so quick to blame America or blame freedom, what is your alternative? A totalitarian government instead? Go back and look at why we declared Independence from the totalitarian government of England. The reasons are listed in the Declaration of Independence. Jesus once said, I set before you life and death; choose life. Do you really think this kid had ever been exposed to that kind of teaching? What we fill our minds or our hearts with determines who we are. The fact is that America has never been the worse place to live in the world, and there is much more violence going on around the world than is taking place here. You come off sounding like an idiot with posts like yours.

Me and a friend were joking around and throwing around ideas for good SNL skits we’d like to see. I thought of one where we see Beck and John Boehner hanging out together. Every time there’s even something mildly upsetting (someone cuts them off in traffic, Baskin Robbins ran out sprinkles for ice cream cones, etc.) they start to blubber. Then they see a worried looking woman and ask her what’s wrong. She goes into a story about how she and her husband lost their jobs, and they don’t have health insurance, and her daughter is sick and they can’t afford medicine, and then they cut back to Beck and Boehner, and they’re completely dry-eyed.
