Unions and larger, well organized groups are another story. They purport to be for the worker, when in truth their goals are the very trappings of the capitalist system they rail against: money and power.

Those scriptures were warnings from God about ANYONE or ANYTHING who would turn away the focus of His people from Him. There is no question I understand what I am railing against. There is no question that you know that I understand it also. You just don’t like it. You want to attempt to call me out you should be prepared to defend with Scripture not with feeling. You want to call me a progressive, that just makes your actions pathetic. The first thing you should do is make sure you don’t contradict yours belief. You brushed off Paul‘s prohibitions because you don’t like the way it makes you feel. While I can understand that, especially being americanized by christian paganism, I does not change the prohibition. It also puts a contradiction in Scripture, thus the entire book could not be trusted in your faith. Deb does not pose that problem for me.
It is a Jewish Bible(including the “NT”) and that is the correct context. Not some 2000 year old set of anachronisms by women who do not understand their place. That does not diminish women, it puts greater responsibility and accountability on the men. If you don’t like that, I am sorry. There are things in Scripture that cause me discomfort also, but it’s still there.
Point blank, a woman president or candidate cannot be morally conservative.

Read the book of Judges in the Bible, and you will see Women in leadership positions. It was a time when people did right in their own eyes. There was not a king, and the nation lacked real leadership. Sad to say, I think you can put America in that situation. Men’s biggest fear in America is being called a homophobe, sexist, or racist (regardless if it is true). Most men in American are content to sit in from of the tube and watch sports, and have given up the leadership role. When they are not sucking down beer, they are drinking the political-correct flavored kool-aid by the pitcher full. They want, like a child wants something. Whine, stomp their feet, cry, pout…those of you who have kids know what I mean. Liberals are the “adult” version of a temper tantrum.
Socialism, fascism, marxism never worked on a national level before, so the illogical step for the “adult” version of a temper tantrum is to TAKE IT GLOBAL….sure that will work.
Ask them “and then what?”. They don’t have an answer. Ask them where the money will come from. Same response.
When your kids are small, sometimes they need to be punished. The “adult” version of punishment is of a more permanent nature. They will have no one to blame but themselves…oh, and George Bush.

It proves what all of us who do photoshop know: the BC was as phone as a 3$ Bill; that there is a serious problem with the Ct. BC; that claims that HE has yet another ID and is guilty of R.E. fraud. IT lists names; and I verified that the address is real etc. LISTEN to it. The only reasons that it didn’t break wide-open this past week/weekend were the horrible tornadoes.
