snow, I have been following the blaze since it came on line and enjoy the articles. I have noticed that you have a comment or more on every single article. You are either the most brilliant, astute and informed individual or you ain’t got a life. I was also naive enough to go to your unashamed “art for sale” site and looked at your art. My conclusion after that was you should spend less time here and let someone else pontificate and more time doing what it takes to get to Caregie Hall…practice, practice, practice. Just saying…..

The NAACP is long in tooth and short in credibility. If BJ really wants to be helpful to the Tea Party(as he claims) he can stop attacking it. I haven’t yet met anyone in the Tea Party that is racist as he believes. As others have noted, this is desperation for media attention and we all know that all you need to to is yell “Racist” and the slobbering media lap-gogs come-a-runnin’.

Hey, the boy who cried wolf called, he wants his gig back.

The NAACP has nothing to do with empowering African Americans, it is a group of intolerant liberals who use race as a weapon. They hate anyone who doesnt believe in their socialist agenda, no matter what color they happen to be. For some reason they are repeatedly given a pass when they are outed as the liars. Breitbart showed the country all it needs to know about the NAACP.

Right on brother!! I can‘t say I’m surprised by the racism and bigotry from the NAACP. They are just as bad as the ACLU

As a member of the Bowie County Patriots, I can say that we have blacks and hispanics who attend the rallies.

It’s best we ignore them, and continue with OUR agenda. But then again, perhaps once the Republicans, or Tea Party candidates are in office, we use their own tactics against them by informing Homeland security that the NAACP, ACLU, and the new black panthers are a threat to national security…………. Just a thought.

UNRECONSTRUCTED LIBERTARIAN comments, “The Confederate Battle Flag is not a racist symbol.”

Our Confederate flag is a historical treasure. This is a flag originating out of our Deep South and is a critical part of our Civil War. This flag represents a historical culture of our past.

This is an easy reading article on the Confederate flag and many variations of this flag:

I pulled some racial slurs from my research notes. These are racial slurs uttered by well known leaders, each taking turns slinging racial slurs at Glen Beck, Sarah Palin and Tea Party people. These quotes originate from the Al Sharpton counter-rally to the recent Beck-Palin rally.

Robert Franklin, president of Morehouse College: “”I am delighted to know that Mr. Glenn Beck and his colleagues discovered the ‘I Have a Dream’ speech….”

Avis Jones Deweaver of the National Council of ***** Women: “Don’t let anyone tell you that they have the right to take their country back. It’s our country, too. We will reclaim the dream. It was ours from the beginning.”

Jaime Contreras of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU): “…represent angry white people and hate-mongering…We will not let them stand in the way of the change we voted for!”

Franklin Richardson the pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon: “It’s alright with me that they’re at the Mall today, because we’re at the White House.”

This is once again nothing but same old song and dance with smoke and mirrors being carried out; they claim to usage of a “Bigger Spotlight” upon the Tea Party.

Yet again they tell nothing with specific proof that is solid just the usual geneal smear campaign.

These people do not understand that the Tea Party is civility and civilized; it is made up of the American CITIZENS who behaved well at the 8/28 rally…even to the extent of leaving the place as neat or neater as when they first arrived for the rally.

It just seems they believe that if someone issues a “report” therefore lies and spin becomes a set “truth” for the record.

May the Almighty one help us all who long to be free and walk with Him through the coming storm.

Well–if you find it, please do share because they sure don’t seem to be very eager to flaunt their credentials anywhere (gee, how admirable)–not even on their own foundation’s websites.

Taquoshi Here is what Project 21 has to say about it:
NAACP Fails to Disappoint with the Failure of Its Latest Tea Party Attack
Washington, D.C. – As expected, the new report that the NAACP is touting as proof of the radicalism of the tea party movement is rife with innuendo, hearsay and conjecture. Members of the Project 21 black leadership network are highly critical of a study obviously devised with pre-ordained conclusions and crafted to be a weapon to bring disrepute upon grassroots activism against the liberal big-government policies of the Obama White House and the current congressional leadership.

“Looking at the research that comprises this report, I find it interesting that it appears not a single leader of the mentioned tea party groups was asked for its background,” noted Project 21 member Coby Dillard, a co-founder of the Hampton Roads Tea Party in Virginia. “Had this research been conducted, the facts would show that two of the mentioned groups are simply capitalizing from the tea party movement and that two others are for-profit enterprises. I fail to see, just as I did this summer when their resolution was voted on, how this report ‘advances’ black Americans or those of any color. The longer the NAACP stays on this path, the more they show themselves unable to provide solutions to the issues most Americans care about.”

In his introduction to “Tea Party Nationalism,” which was created by the little-known Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights and is being distributed by the NAACP, NAACP president Benjamin Todd Jealous says the report “exposes the links between certain Tea Party factions and acknowledged racist hate groups in the United States.” The first direct allegation of such raicalism made by Jealous, however, is the still-unconfirmed report that a racial epithet was used against Representative John Lewis (D-GA) during the health care debate last March.

In further examples of the report’s ideological agenda, it says the slogan “take our country back” — which has been used in various forms by liberals such as former presidential candidate Howard Dean, current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Nation magazine editor Katrina vanden Heuvel — is “explicitly nationalist” when used by tea party activists. As for tenuous linkages in the report, Tea Party Express is tied to the John Birch Society simply because they both played roles in the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference (as did the homosexual rights group GOProud, but that was not mentioned). The report also tries to tie the Tea Party Express to Dale Robertson — who was repudiated by tea party organizations long ago — by reporting “Dale Robertson noted that members of his group traveled to Nevada for the kickoff rallies of the third Tea Party Express” (the event was open to the public).

“This is gotcha politics, plain and simple. They are using tall tales and hearsay to obscure real concern about the state of our nation. I’ve read fairy tales with more credibility,” said Project 21 chairman Mychal Massie, who has spoken at many tea party events. “To drop down to their level, one could cite former NAACP executive director Ben Chavis as a link between the NAACP and the racial extremism of the Nation of Islam. The same could be done regarding IREHR board member Gina Chiala due to her years advocating for a pardon of Leonard Peltier, the radical Indian-rights activist who was convicted of murdering two FBI agents. I‘m sure they wouldn’t think that’s fair game — even though both have or held leadership postions — but they’ll play that way when it comes to the tea parties.”

“This report is as credible as the recently-discredited U.N. report on climate change,” added Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli. “This is nothing more than a cynical attempt to mobilize support for their policies through fear. Even though Obama’s policies are harmful to the black community, tragically, they seek to manufacture blind loyalty to the President by scaring them about the opposition. As a frequent speaker at tea party rallies nationwide, I know the movement has nothing to do with race and everything to do with toxic liberal policies.”

“As a black man, I scorn and resent this never-ending assault on the morals of all black people by the NAACP,” said Project 21 member Oscar Murdock, who took part in the Tea Party Express rally in Searchlight, Nevada. “In spite of being an organization that was correctly established to procure and preserve rights for a people to whom rights and dignity were being denied, the NAACP has descended into a group that is a disgrace to the humanity of the very people it was created to elevate. It is now only a bigoted and politically biased blight among organizations.”

Project 21, a leading voice of black conservatives since 1992, is sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research (http://www.nationalcenter.org).

If there is an organization that could recognize a racist it would be the NAACP.

I just finished the whole report.. whew.
While I feel it IS slanted against the Tea party, and admittedly I don’t have the time to check out
the bazillion referenced web pages, what I take from the report is that WE have to be VERY careful WHO we support and allign ourselves with.

Assuming their reference pages are legit, there has been attempts by kkk and other extreemists to usurp the movement.
It is the primary reason I am a registered independent.
NOBODY gets my allegience by defacto registration.
Like everybody else I make my judgements on the info I can gleen for myself and VOTE.
If they fooled me, they LOST me.
I thought the evidence if legit was put together rather well.
      HOWEVER
Their reason for painting me and everybody else with the racist brush is precisely
BECAUSE I am independent and WILL VOTE
It is their conclusions and speculation that are skewed
and they skew it because they FEAR US.

      Remember in November
      VOTE

Tea Party followers are to busy worrying about how to save our Country. Do the haters at the NAACP really believe anyone cares what they think. Instead of trying to help the Country recover, they want “more free things”.

It also shows how desperate they are because they are going to lose the house in two weeks. They have no one else to blame but themselves.

My condolences for your loss of time Lady liberty. There is much these desperate people don’t comprehend. They are scared to death the gravy train is about to be derailed and they are freaking out. Jealous isn’t just crying wolf over racism he has burned the card forever. No one in their right mind is listening to that bull crap. Racial slurs is all they have in their quiver because they sure as hell can’t defend the unconstitutional out of control spending policies of the Obama administration or the Bush administration before Obama.

I wouldn’t be suprised to find out that the confederate flag and other outcrys at the Tea Party Rallies were Left Plants to cause dissention… I believe that 90% of regular folks don,t give a big rats a– what color or whatever anyone is.. It is only the bigmouths in Power trying to raise the fearlevel.. Personally i’m ashamed of both sides this season… But.. Right is Right.
