Bernie Madoff and Wife Attempted Suicide on Christmas Eve After Ponzi Arrest

NEW YORK (The Blaze/AP) — The wife of disgraced financier Bernard Madoff says they tried to kill themselves after he admitted stealing billions of dollars in the largest Ponzi scheme in history. Ruth Madoff will appear on Sunday‘s episode of CBS’ “60 Minutes.” It‘s her first interview since her husband’s December 2008 arrest.
She says the time after Bernie Madoff’s arrest was “horrendous.” She remembers receiving angry phone calls and hate mail.
Ruth Madoff says they took “a bunch of pills” including Ambien on Christmas Eve, but both woke up the next day. She says the decision was “very impulsive” and she‘s glad they didn’t die.
The couple’s son Andrew will also talk about his experience. Another son, Mark, killed himself last year.
Bernie Madoff is serving 150 years in prison.

Posted on October 27, 2011 at 10:27amThis story of the attempted suicide with Ambien is complete crap. You would have to ingest tons of these to die. The lethal dose has been found to be around 800mg for MICE (80 pill equivalent).The highest dose of Ambien in pill form is 10mg. Check out the studies done on Ambien. The only way it seems you could die from this stuff is injecting high doses or mixing with other drugs.

This Madoff(Jewish) is one of the reasons people are protesting Wall Street in New York City(which is a Jewish controlled operation in a Jewish controlled city and state). Not only did he steal billions, he did it under the nose of the “smartest minds” in economics for at least 25 years. He stole from friends and colleagues. Bernie and Ruth are the poster-children of why it’s not anti-semitic to point out the fact that Jewish manipulation of Wall Street and the major media(NYC=FoxNews/CNN/MSNBC/MTV etc. headquartered there) is hurting our country. Getting Bernie behind bars was a great start,but there are many more of him lurking in the FedReserve and Wall Street.
