Biden Caught Napping During Obama Budget Speech?You know, I didn‘t find Obama’s budget speech this afternoon too riveting. He was late (again) and spoke for almost an hour. And in the end, he trumpeted an old argument (raise taxes on the “rich”) for a new budget battle. But hey, at least I stayed awake for the whole thing. Apparently, though, the same thing can’t be said for Vice President Joe Biden. Cameras caught him appearing to doze off during the speech:

That has to be especially frustrating for the president considering he singled out Biden for an “atta boy” at the beginning of the speech.

    What this frame did not show that ABC’s original video showed was Tim Geitner sitting to the right of Biden. What a face! He looked like he was ready to explode and in need of some Beano. That, or he was ready to puke listening to this nonsense coming from the podium

    I agree with the comment about the teleprompter-based speech being boring. If I were there, I’d doze off too.

      Doesn‘t look like he’s alone! Looks like a group snooze! What was the point, anyone with a calculator could figure out that his math of 2.8% GDP debt per year would add the entire GDP to the 14t+ current debt in less than 30 years when you factor in interest! Some plan!

      Other than some too-clever-by-half phrases to hide what he is talking about, O’s speech was just a rehash of class warfare and attack retoric from the decades-old Democrat Playbook. If I had heard and used it as many times as Biden has, I’d fall asleep from boredom too!
