During a stump for Delaware Senate candidate Chris Coons, Vice President Joe Biden confessed that the president’s brain has outgrown his own skull.
Sounds like quite the affliction. Get well soon, Mr. President.

Posted on October 15, 2010 at 6:12pmI have to share; one of my precious pastors used to be a fund raiser for Biden during his 1st presidential bid. When he told me that, I asked him if he was as dumb as he sounded. Here’s his response nearly verbatim, “To illustrate, let me tell you about a conversation I had with a woman who had known him his entire life. She said, “Do you want me to tell you how Joey came to be in politics?” Fr. Jerry answered, “I’d love to hear that story.” She continued, “Well, he went to college to become a lawyer, but when he graduated they found out he wasn’t smart enough, so….we’re a small state…so he went into politics.” So I said, “Then he really IS that dumb!” His answer, “He’s dumber than a sack of hair.” Now that is DUMB! It was on Drudge today, BO is taking him on again for 2012. Hey. What can I say. He needs someone on the ticket that sounds like he’s dumber than BO, right?

Posted on October 15, 2010 at 6:32pmWell, Dagney (I love her!), it sounds like your pastor has come to see the light. I grew up in Delaware, graduated from high school in 1987–right when Biden was beginning his first presidential campaign, and at the time I was a young dumb liberal, and I went to work for him as a volunteer. Well, after the whole plagiarism episode and he was forced to quit, he sent out thank you letters to all the volunteers promising them that there would be “another time.” I still have that letter, which I keep as evidence that it is possible to overcome any mental illness, even liberalism. It’s also fun to show to friends who cannot believe that I could ever possibly have been a liberal, or an atheist. (I was both, to the endless stupefaction of countless people who know me today.)

When I was in college and was old enough to vote the first time, my Father talked me into voting a straight Democratic ticket..even now, I can’t believe I did it!!! Even back then, one time was all it took as I watched the people I had voted for.

As for the heart thing… a ram rod with a big heart… that can’t be a good thing for anyone. Just means Biden sees what he‘s working with real clear but hasn’t the faculty to put it together as being a bad combonation.
I guess that’s why they call him “Slow Jo”.
