Vice President Joe Biden has not shied away from wild and fear-mongering language while on the road to promote the Obama Administration Senate-rejected jobs bill. On CNN’s State of the Union Candy Crowley pressed the Vice President on his claim that rapes and murders would go up unless Republicans gave in to the administration’s jobs bill. Mediate footage of the exchange:

On page 133 of President Obama’s “The American Job Act”, Sec.376. states;
“Abrogation of State Immunity- A State shall not be immune under the 11th Amendment to the
Constitution from a suit brought in a Federal court of competent jurisdiction for a violation of this Act.
A State’s receipt or use of Federal financial assistance for any program or activity of a State shall constitute a waiver of sovereign immunity, under the 11th Amendment to the Constitution or otherwise, to a suit brought by an employee or applicant of that program or activity under this Act for a remedy authorized under Section 375(c) of this Act.”

That would do more to stop rape and murder than paying some cops, firemen, and teachers for one more year. If a state can’t afford those personnel they need to adjust their budget, adjust their personnel levels, and live with it. It is an outrage that paying public workers for one year is even called a “jobs” bill.

In all of my years, I have never witnessed a politician who can lie as proficiently as Biden. He is so convincing, even when he‘s saying something that’s absolutely false.
