Biden: Romney ‘Implies By His Speech’ That He’s Ready for War in Syria, Iran

Joe Biden: Mitt Romney Ready for War in Syria, Iran

Vice President Joe Biden warned a crowd in York, Pa. Sunday that Republican rival Mitt Romney is “ready to go to war in Syria and Iran,” offering scant evidence to support the claim.

Biden was on the campaign trail to promote President Obama’s economic policies among “white, working-class voters,” according to the Associated Press, when he made the statement.  The thrust of Biden’s pitch has been that America is digging out from the 2008 economic collapse, and that Romney would take the country backward.

But Biden, described by the AP as “a foreign policy heavyweight,” also cautioned voters that Romney could adopt policies that favor confrontation over cooperation.

“[Romney] said it was a mistake to end the war in Iraq and bring all of our warriors home,” Biden remarked. “He said it was a mistake to set an end date for our warriors in Afghanistan and bring them home.  He implies by the speech that he’s ready to go to war in Syria and Iran.”

Romney has said he would consider military action in Syria if the war-torn country’s chemical weapons were at risk of falling into the wrong hands, but Obama has made similar remarks.  The president called it a “red line” for the U.S. if Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime were to use chemical or biological weapons.

Obama and Romney have also both said the U.S. must keep all options on the table, including a military strike, when dealing with Iran.  But Romney has suggested that Obama has been too soft on Iran and – without offering specifics himself – said he would prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

“And these guys say the president is out of touch?” Biden said to the crowd.

But Biden’s remarks, in an audience of about 1,400 in a high school gymnasium, focused primarily on the economy.

“This is no time to turn back. We have to continue to move forward,” he said. “Folks, I am absolutely certain – there’s not a single doubt in my mind – that we are on the way to rebuilding this country stronger than it was before.”

Biden also took time to imply that Republicans don’t care about the middle class, saying: “Oh, I love these guys, how they claim to care about the deficit…”

He continued: “Ladies and gentlemen, the thing I most love about them is about how they discovered the middle class at their convention. Isn’t that amazing? All of a sudden their heart was bleeding for the middle class.”

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

The President’s main function is to be prepared to defend..Is Joe Blow implying that Obama is not prepared to defend America?
I remember they called Regan a war monger, he ramped up our military, created countless jobs, and never fired a shot. Peace through strength.
Bo and Joe are just typical liberal ******* that would rather compromise than stand up for themselves, and us.

Here is the big difference. We’ve not stopped firing since Clinton. And, it got worse under Bush and Obama. We’ve transformed ourselves into a belligerent, war-loving, nation. It’s called The Wolfowitz Doctrine of perpetual war, and yes he is Jewish.

Regardless of your political affiliation, religious beliefs, color, language, lifestyle, or sex; Mankind
has always been at war with Mankind. From the simple caveman to present day Nobel Peace Prize winners. Even Mother Teresa was at war with poverty and the lack of Love for the poor.

Any President who is not prepared for war to defend his Country is the real joke.

From caveman clans to Alexander The Great from Cesar to Hitler, from the Grand Mufti to present day; Mankind has always be at war and always will be. And all you can do is prepare, hope for the best and make sure your “stick” is bigger than the persons “stick”

I know, people dream of the future Star Trek lifestyle; no money, everyone has food, a large Universal Federation with other-Worldly treaties. But, have you ever seen a Star Trek episode where “weapons” were not the guiding factor behind peace?

Monks are some of the most peaceful people on the planet. Yet, they are also among the most deadly. Why? Peace through strength is the only way in a World where man has always been violent to man. It’s just Nature. Man is a part of Nature, which is physical and Man is also Spirit, which is non-physical. The Spirit never has problems, it’s always the physical that has issues.

I’ve been in many fights but, I‘ve never started a fight and I’ve never been hit. I’ve never made the “first move” but, I’ve always made the “last move”.

The USA should be more like a Monk.

      Spirit never has issues?

      OHKAE!

This sounds like you need to focus on your Chi a little more and actually come to a knowledge of what it is.

Every soul is a flame…which flickers. That flickering means that this flame is imperfect and may go out and stay out.

Joseph Smith did teach that Spirit & Element are inseparably connected. WHY WOULD GOD CREATE MORE THAN ONE REALITY/TRUTH?

Are you one of those morons (my pov) who think that there is an alternate universe? You wanna know how meaningless that line of thought is? How much it lacks substances and any proof of reality?

People distort what their Visions actually are and think they are already real.

I agree with you though on America being more “LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE” type of MONK/LONER/INDIVIDUAL …that was the default of what we should have been.

You have to realize this simple fact. There is no way out of the fight we are in. It must be finished.

If we continue to deal with other countries economically….then we suddenly are involved in foreign entanglements. WHY!?!?! Because becoming the pivotal hinge of a nation means we have the power to DESTROY THEIR FUTURE. To abort them while they cannot preserve themselves producing what they are producing…..well….you figure it out.

I live in a very red state, Texas, since its already going for Rommney, maybe I will vote for Johnson. I need basic supplies, but you are right, being spiritually awake and prepared is the most important. Its tuff just figuring out what you will need and can afford. Between work and family and sucking up knowledge for the coming collapse, im exhausted. All I can do is trust in the Lord.

Well if you are Texas, then you should be better off than most states. I imagine Texas being the strongest when it comes to self governance and decency (minus the illegals). The only thing keeping me away from Texas is heat and lack of water supplies. Take care

@SOY and WAKEUP..If Gary Johnson had a brain ..he would have waited for Ron Paul to be on his ticket.. I wish that he and Paul could trade places and Paul could be in the Presidential running..But think of what it could do for the Libertarian ticket if Johnson and Paul linked up tomorrow on one ticket..But I am not so sure that things are over..I heard that someone is calling for an audit of the RNC..I would love to see those responsible for what happened in Tampa get sent to the big house..and for Paul to be declared the actual winner.. Oh and Soy..I concur…

That is not Gary Johnson’s fault. That is the Libertarian Party. I watched the Libertarian Convention on CSPAN and there was a movement to postpone the nomination until AFTER the RNC convention….But the libertarian party was having none of that

Gary Johnson has said that if Ron Paul were running as a 3rd party, he would not be running on the libertarian ticket. My understanding is that it is too late to announce, according to federal election laws….

      ASHES,
The mark of the beast will be swearing allegiance to Allah/Satan and his Mahdi. Once the Mahdi rises to power, Islam will behead you if you refuse to submit. It has become evident to all who have been sealed with the Spirit of Christ who the Mahdi/Antichrist will be — that is unless you have been seduced by the anti-Israel spirit creeping into many churches, seeking whom he may devour.

Please listen, brother. Your attitude towards Israel does not come from God. You’re scared you might be taking the mark of the beast? How ironic! Everyone who takes the mark will have ONE thing in common: hatred of Israel. Why else do you think the ungodly will gather their armies and attack that tiny nation?

I understand if you can’t vote for a Mormon. Just make sure it’s 100% about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and 0% about Ron Paul, corrupt politician and liar who claims he will save.

He was on our side..We have no way of knowing when the world will end..Many empires have risen and many have fallen..and once they have fallen..I have never know of them to rise again..Oh and Kryptonite..Hilter is the one who founded Israel this last time around..The true Jews are waiting on the Messiah to rule in his kingdom there..and it will happen..but not before the anti-Christ sets up there..At the end of tribulations..that is when the anti-Christ and false prophet will be removed..And Krypt..God Himself will gather those nations to go against Israel when Jesus steps in..(an earthquake) and saves them..and they will know that they pierced their own God..but only one third will go into the millenial kingdom..and two thirds will be destroyed..that’s prophesy Krypt..from the foundations of the world..I have nothing to do with it..

But Gary Johnson hopefully pull a miracle or Americans use their brain and find out he is the best man for the job. otherwise Obama is less evil than Romney, cause handouts is less evil than war.

I can’t wait for the VP debate. Ryan will make Biden look like the idiot he is….same goes for Romney with Obama. I have no doubt, though, Obama will have someone in his ear giving him all the answers at the debates. Do they check for something like that? Wouldn’t that be cheating? Once Romney starts in on Obama, it won’t take him long to prove what an absolute incompetent fool Obama is. I have a question that should be asked the president, why did he chose as one of his first acts as president to sign an order to lift the ban on partial birth abortions. What kind of person makes that a priority?

I thought we covered this already. I believe the CIA whistle blowers who came clean about overthrowing the Iranian’s legitimate elected government and replacing it with an evil repressive dictator. The hostages were innocent and it shouldn’t have happened, but if I recall all we had to do to have them released was apologize for overthrowing that legitimate government and they would have been released. Instead Reagan gave them weapons. Do you disagree that this event took place? Do you think it was provoked by Iranians? Would you want retaliation if these event were reversed? I don’t think two wrongs make a right, but I do understand their hostility towards us after what a few crooked folks in office did to them. It really doesn’t seem like the Christian thing to do to another nation. The American people didn’t have anything to do with it, just some sick puppies in charge that often do rotten things and hide them from us through classification. I‘m not fan of Iran’s current leadership, but I do understand their distrust of Washington. Heck I share their distrust of Washington. We have some evil men ruling great people. I‘m guessing it’s the same with them.

Romney or obama will be dealing with a currency crisis soon. Which way will we move? World Currency or a Republic? Well, We really don’t have a republic. Democrats and Republicans both want to eliminate the Electoral college and go popular vote, Guess what? Popular vote is championed by Al Gore, LMAO. Isn’t it great, When republicons and demorats work together?

When we are hit with a huge amount of inflation. The police state will really start to clamp down. Think about it, All the state would have to do is cut power, internet, cell phone service, water, and people would give up their guns willingly.
