In last night’s pilot episode there was acknowledgement of terrorism, a prayer at the dinner table, waterboarding (well, a head dunked in a toilet), a debate about enhanced interrogation techniques as well as a mention of John McCain. I‘m not aware how politically outspoken Tom Selleck is but I always thought him a patriot since he’s pro-gun and has donated various firearms to the NRA museum. I plan to continue watching Blue Bloods as well.
