Multicultural societies fail, but they only show up in large cities were and unwelcoming “city” culture pushes them willingly into their own communities. I’m surprised your against multiculturalism though. The fact that they separate people seems like something right up your paranoid, bigoted, racist alley.
The mixing pot is absolutely essential to why this country has been so great. Over the last 300 years the people who came to this continent mixed the best and the brightest aspects of their culture to push this country forward.
Examples? Welsh Miners, English woodsmen, Dutch craftsman, African music and medicine, Greek and Roman military strategies, German scientists, French and Irish farming, Spanish equestrian skills, Indian (feather not dot) understanding of the North American wilderness….the list goes on and on. And it still continues to this day. While much of the illegal Hispanic population is a problem, the legal side is bringing back more traditional and family centered ways of life, something this country needs badly.
So next time you bitch about diversity, make sure that; One you’re not doing it about multiculturalism, because it’s a twisted side of what you preach on here.

For example do you really think the Muslims in the US and Europe form their own enclaves because they have been pushed into certain sectors of urban areas? That’s such an unintelligent evaluation it defies logic, experience and the real world as it exists. They’re in their own areas, because they want to be around their own people, their own customs, their own traditions, language and way of life. They come here NOT to assimilate but to improve their economic situations. They even make no secret about wanting to convert their new Western homelands into areas ruled by sharia law.
And this attitude is not restricted just to Muslims although they are the most fanatical about their desires and beliefs.
Tell Japan, China and South Korea that “diversity makes them strong” and they would fall to the floor laughing. The reason you love it so much is because the ideology has been pounded into your brain so much for so many years by demagogues who want it that way you are incapable of objectiv

Your list of immigrants above has to do with people who have something in common to begin with and who ALWAYS eventually assimilated, most of them very proud to do so. If you had premised your supposition on a society of people who were the same, as this society used to be, like all European immigrants, then it would work, and reality reveals that it has worked. But, I think you’re unaware that non-white people…..no matter how well they might assmilate into this society…are not truly willing to pay homage and honor ancestoral historical figures who do not look like themselves. They won’t do it.They’ll provide lip service, but their real respect and loyalty will be to their own kind. I can only imagine what your ancestors had to do to put food on the table.
It is my guess that you have forgot.
When was the last time your hands got dirty? I am not talking dirty as in political dirty, you do that by the day. I am talking about grabbing a post hole digger and sinking a post.
Well Mr. Jackson when? Yeah, I could call you a bunch of names but I don’t feel the need to all I have to do is sit back and look at your background.

It’s lost on the politicians, too. Do they really expect people from other countries to magically become loyal supporters of ALL THINGS in this country just because they crossed an invisible geographical boundry? Most people from third world countries are no more than economic refugees who have never lost their loyalties to their home countries and who want to bring their old countries here, including their flags, languages, traditions and culture.
How many times have we read about an immigrant given top secret clearance giving secrets to their home country or something similar?
In the coming years it will be the homogeneous countries like China, Japan and North Korea who will emerge from the coming financial armageddon the least affected. They will have endured much chaos and turmoil themselves, but it is their unity as a people and a culture that will keep them from breaking up into various factions like the West is going to do. The US and Europe with their societies reduced to tribal factions will erupt into civil war. Diversity is a disaster.

He’s a racist and bigot equal to his father and mentor. Both try to climb to the top by stepping on the heads of others.
Dr, Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist preacher, a statesman and a gentleman. He wasn’t a racist. He didn’t use reverse racism, hatred or bigotry to advance the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960′s in the USA. King was a unique individual that had a purpose in life and personal integrity is unquestionable.

For too long Americans have sat on their collective butts. They have blindly accepted “facts” from anyone they felt the slightest rapport with. Race, gender, age, locale, political party, religion or not…whatever. Or from whomever shouted the loudest. Americans have been too lazy, too complacent. Too busy to check the facts, to research. Too busy to think for themselves. And worst of all, they’ve forgotten that the people who make the laws & decisions for our country work for them…the citizens are their employers. Americans have allowed themselves to become robots. It’s easier that way. And now we see what “easy” has bought us.

Loriann, unfortunately the brainwashed and the ignorant are the overwhelming majority of blacks. I don’t mean ignorant as in biologically unintelligent. I mean ignorant as in reading, researching, and exposing oneself to new ideas in hopes of finding the truth. Most that fall into this category are either too uneductaed, too lazy, or not intellectually curious enough to do the heavy lifting to get to the truth. Others, however, are afraid of the truth because, deep down, they know that truth doesn’t reflect a pretty picture of how a good many blacks in America choose to conduct themselves.
I also have to respectfully disagree that the next American Civil War will be fought between Liberals vs. Conservatives and not competing racial factions. The reason why many black people like Jesse Jackson disregard our Constitution in favor of tribal politics is because they recognize that racial and tribal bonds, natural law, is more powerful than man-made law. That’s why, throughout history, nations that tried to hold different racial and cultural groups together under man-made law were marred by conflict, and many eventually dissolved along those cultural-racial lines. America will be no different.
