Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn Call NATO Military Arm of the 1% and Want an End to It

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, the same two who don’t think uniformed military should get on planes first, are now declaring NATO should be “dismantled” since it is the “the military arm of the global 1 percent.” NATO, a military alliance of countries from North America and Europe, will be meeting at a Summit in Chicago this week.  Longtime Chicago leftist organizers, Ayers and Dohrn, will be organizing protests throughout the week in order to send a message to the “secret cabal” that they are unwanted.

The couple, who were involved in bombing the New York City Police Department, the Pentagon and the United States Capitol, went on record with the Democracy Now, lamenting the existence of the military alliance who oversaw the end of the Cold War.

      I have a dream. It will cost us all dearly, but I have a dream of seeing these two buffoons getting what they say they want most. They would be the fist to face the hangman or a firing squad (or worse) if they achieve it because they consistently sold out their own country. They consistently used and abused the rights and privileges afforded them by the county they actively sought to destroy. It‘s like when one cheats on one’s spouse. Who can ever trust you again?

    i make $36k/year and love what i do so clearly i’m not in the “1%”. i despise bill ayers, his wife, and their useful idiot occupiers. how delusional and arrogant must they all be to think i’m part of their “99%”. i’m proudly part of the 53% that actually pays taxes. have people become so intellectually lazy that they are devoid of even the slightest bit of critical thinking?       Because that’s all you want to see. We agree with wanting to be out of entangling alliances, but not for the same reasons. Tell me you weren’t disgusted when you heard Penetta tell congress that they go to the international community rather than congress when it comes to sending our brothers to war.

      Yes, I was disgusted with Penetta, however he was speaking about the UN Security Council not NATO.
      Also I, unlike Paul supporters, do not compromise on my principals/believes and endorse anything a terrorist says. Their statements are based on a hated of America and everything we have ever stood for, knowing that, How can you support their statements?

      NO! I do not and never will agree with them. Unlike you, I understand their motivation for everything they say. Like all Paul “Followers” you will latch on to the ‘sound bite’ if it supports your agenda, regardless of who said it; Communist, Socialist or Terrorist. Remeber a couple of weeks ago when the Paul “Followers” were praising Paul Krugman, until they learned that his issue with the FED was they didn’t spend enough. Something that we converatives already knew. The reason why I can not support Paul or his supporters is their alleginaces move with the wind, just like the fence sitters during the Revolutionary War.

      Latch on to a soundbite? I’ve been saying we should be out of NATO and UN for years and only found out these clowns came to the same conclussion today with this article. As for Krugman, he‘s a Keynesian and Paul’s for Austrian economics. I don‘t know what he said that you’re referencing, but the same principle applies, I suppose. Even though we think he’s wrong, doesn‘t mean he can’t get something right, here and there. You deal in absolutes, I don’t.

      So, I am curious…is Nixon, Kissinger, every Plumber including Liddy, Cheney, Rumsfeld (yes, they all worked for Nixon), Haldeman and the like…terrorists? Do you consider them terrorists?
      If not, you are a hypocrite and a moron. Look up how Nixon ordered the Plumbers to go after the Brookings Institute to steal some embarrassing papers.
      I wasn’t alive in the 60s, but I can sympathize to an extent. The Weather Underground ensured that the buildings were empty, sent notes more than a week in advance, and went for infrastructure…out of frustration considering the psychotic things the government was doing then. Then again…chances are, you support both Nixon and Vietnam. It is hilarious. American conservatism these days has managed to compile all of the arseholes of the country, the truly stained souls…and then put a party label on it. Classic. Very seldom in history has it ever been so defined…good vs bad. BTW- You aren’t in the group you think you are.

But thank you for proving my point, that a Paul “Follower” has no core believes and will sell out this country no matter what.       @Real, Instead of attacking me, misquoting me, dodging the issue (Krugman), lumping every Paul supporter into a group, etc… make a case for staying in NATO. My case is it served its purpose when the Soviet Union collapsed, therefore was no longer necessary, it‘s being an excuse for executives to ignore there Constitutional duties and consult congress like they’re supposed to when going to war, and it’s nothing more than enforcement arm of the UN and NWO, which is a tremendous threat to the Constitution. I don’t know what it was like when you were in, but NATO just went into Iraq for oil and picked the Muslim’s side in a civil war in Yugoslavia. Ayers and his ho have nothing to do with how I came to my conclussions. They reached their same conclussions on their own. I’m sure if you asked them if the sky is blue, they’d say it was. Just because I too believe the sky is blue, doesn’t equate to me supporting their agenda. I mean your comments are insulting, bullheaded and void of any logic. In other words, you‘re arguing for the NWO and say I don’t stand for anything.

      Tex, since you were not alive in the 1960′s how can you have anything empathetic with the SDS and Weather Underground? Why do you assume anyone who was alive in the 1960′s and served fully supported Kennedy, Johnson and/or Nixon? Why do you presume that the vets who post on this site want war? Most of us know how horrible it is and don’t ever want to be in another war. We, however, are willing to stand to and fight again, if need be.

      In case you don’t know, all young men had to register for the Selective Service draft. Your choices were get drafted, voluntarily entry, get a student deferment (hoping the Nam ended before you got called up) or skip to Canada. The decision for each of these options was personal. I served and my reasons are mine to know.

    France is no threat. Turkey is ruling the NATO roost. Turkey woundn’t allow Israel to attend the NATO meetings in Chicago, yet NATO invited Pakistan to attend. Clinton and Turkey have been scheming to use Article 5 of the NATO treaty for thr ‘Resposinility to Protect’.
    Assad is not isolated like Quaddafi was. He has Russia, because of ties that go back ro the 1950′s when Syria left the United Arab Republic, and Iran, because Assad belongs to a Shite sect.
