Bill Clinton: Economy Is Bush’s Fault & Obama Will Win ‘Handily’

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — Former President Bill Clinton says he believes President Barack Obama can win re-election “handily” if he can persuade voters he steadied a shaky economy.
Clinton tells ABC’s “Good Morning America” he believes likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney will have a difficult time reconciling positions he‘s taken during the primary season with what he’ll say against Obama in the fall.
Clinton was asked if Obama can argue that Americans are better off than they were four years ago, as he argued in winning re-election in 1996.
He replies that if Obama can’t make that case, “it is only because of the financial collapse that occurred in September 2008” before Obama took office.
He didn’t stop there, according to ABC:
Clinton believes President Obama will win re-election “handily”, saying the 2010 midterm elections in his mind assured victory for Obama in November. As for the argument of whether voters are better off now than they were when Obama took office? Clinton believes most Americans will be able to say just that come Election Day, adding “we have begun to dig our way out. With the financial reform bill, we have taken steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. And we’re moving in the right direction and have a better plan for the future than the other guys do.”

But, as DETROIT PAPERBOY is pointing out, the debacle really got a foot hold as soon as the dems took the Congress in ‘07 after winning the ’06 elections. I noticed that shortly after Pelosi’s warning that gas prices starting inching up. I was driving between 90 and 100 miles a day then to get to work. I recall filling the tank on my half ton daily to avoid paying an even higher price when it just had to be filled.

I’d imagine she still has SS within reach, and a quick call to the FBI/CIA would surely have been in order were the threats true. Tell me what exactly did Bush to in his policies to cause the econ to crash? He pushed back against fannie and freddie loans and warned about them. Gas prices soared in the summer/08 not his fault either and then when it looked like who the president would be…money ran to safety from the socialist in chief coming into office. Watch the econ turn right back around when Romney is elected. Bush did nothing and that’s correct. He let Wall Street and the likes of Countrywide run unregulated creating instruments like sub-prime loans that were doomed to fail. On the left side you have the least-income people looking for and receiving free “stuff” like NoBama money, and on the right side of the equation you have the Banksters and Wall Street “elitists” getting rich off of monetization, while the people in the middle are being squeezed from both directions and, therefore, being squeezed out of existence.
The Rs and the Ds BOTH have this country in a tailspin, that may not be able to be corrected anytime soon, and not without great pain…to you.
A lot of people out there are talking beans, bullion, bullets, bunker, booze and babes. Guns are flying off the shelf like never before. Why do you think HHS has order 150 million bullets?
All the politicians are at fault…just look at NDAA, the bill that took away your right to DUE PROCESS…all for your “safety.” Only 3!!!! voted against it.
