He didn‘t mention MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow by name — but the message was clear:
“One of the leading television commentators on one of our liberal cable channels said I was the best Republican president the country ever produced…”

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 9:01amI find it hard to watch other opinion shows – Olbermann, Maddow, Schultz, etc. It isn’t that they are partisan so much as it is the way they are partisan. They are just snarky, cocky, and when they aren’t poo-pooing anyone with a different point of view, they are swooning over minor accomplishments by the left (”Wow, when you give people free money to buy houses and cars, they buy houses and cars! Who knew?”).
I can stand Jon Stewart & Colbert, mainly because they keep the humor front and center – they occasionally veer off into “serious, big-boy” topics, but by and large understand theiy are comedy shows and will skewer both sides. Occasionally I think they choose to mis-interpret what is going on for the sake of comedy, but that’s OK – it’s comedy. But then I remember how many people watch them and think they are getting fact-based funny news stories, not news-driven humor (like SNL’s Weekend Update).
Glenn Beck says “This is what I think, you decide what you think,“ others seem to preach ”This is what I think, and you’ll agree with me unless you are too stupid to understand me” – I have no time/patience/interest in that…
Based on the ratings, I don‘t think I’m alone on this…

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 8:47amWho watches MSNBC anyway? Unless you are seeking reinforcement of the lies American press and leaders are pushing on the American people.

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 1:59pmActually when I am feeling low I watch PMS-NBC for the comedy factor. The misinformation, lies and commentary are probably more hysterically funny than anything on the comedy channel.

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 10:35amTo mock and ridicule someone based on their looks is a tactic that most Democrats embrace, once we lower our standards and choose that tactic our arguments and integrity will be diminished. So, please, drag yourselves from the democrat gutter of ridicule and argue the merits of opposing views.

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 8:23amThe only word I can think of to describe her affect is “snot.” Rachel Maddow is a snot. My very gentle husband watched her one time for about 30 seconds and announced that he could just bash her in the face. I was astonished! My husband is gentle and respectful toward women, raised by his mom, his dad died when he was young. Those words coming from him floored me, but it shows how she is perceived.

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 9:10pmIsnt amazing when most Presidents leave office they have the courtesy to go home enjoy the rest of their lives, maybe take a speaking job if asked, but basically stay out of the spot light. This guy and Jimmy C. just cant get over that they are irrelevant! Give up bill you are always going to be remembered as “I did not have sex with that woman!”
