Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:52amBill Maher is a libertarian guy’s, leave him alone, he’s one of us…………..BWAHAHAHA
Report Post »GeeWhiz
Posted on January 22, 2011 at 9:56amBill Maher was great at the start of that show on HBO because he was a libertarian and actually was politically incorrect at the time. He did take a very hard left turn in recent years and his humour went from biting to nasty. Nasty doesn’t equal witty, it’s just nasty. Anyone can say ‘********’ or the f word. Whoopee. We all know what he’s going to say before he says it. As a result, he went from entertaining to so what?
MSNBC made a major mistake with Olbermann. They wanted his liberal ‘commentary’ show but they also tried to use him as a hard news anchor and that was a terminally critical error. You can’t have it both ways. Once someone has gone to a hard partisan corner, to put them in a position where they’re supposed to come off as neutral, defies reality. No one will take that seriously, and the ratings show it.
I don‘t care that he’s gone one way or another. To see him leave is amusing but meaningless to me. MSNBC lost all credibility so long ago that I care not what they do with their line up.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:44amWe will get the story eventually. Obviously Comcast gave this merger a lot of thought to be ready to readjust before the ink was even dry! If there is a new set of rules for the MSNBC game my thought is that Lawrence O‘Donnell would be more of a problem than Keith who understands that without his pulpit it doesn’t matter what he says.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:49amMuch like MTV(Music TV) HBO has lost what their bread and butter which was, MOVIES!! Haven’t subscribed since early 08. Repeat after repeat of Hollywood garbage. There were some good original series but rife with dialogue that, yes, did make me laugh(sick sense of humor), but other stuff that was a bridge too far.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:34amOh! I get it! It’s a joke when a liberal calls someone from the right foul names and hurls personal insults at them. Oh! I get it now. It’s just a joke to call the president of the United States a Nazi! But when someone on the right points out the facts about an issue it is hate speech. I think I get the “rules” of this debate now.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:31amArrogance has it’s place for a while. Like most people in entertainment it swallows them whole and Maher is a perfect example of someone who’s head is about to be consumed. I feel said for that famished entity, not a lot there to satiate the hunger.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:33amIt’s been a long time since he was funny. I used to look forward to catching his act but now all he does is pander to ultra-left haters, so the F*#@ “insert any conservative’s name here” line always works for that crowd. I’m sure this will prove to be be as timeless as Jimmie J.J. Walker’s “Dynomite!”

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:18am“That’s always bulls-” said by Maher in there. He doesn’t buy that it was mutual and all signs point to Comcast coming in and cutting out the show with the best ratings. Won’t be long before the whole network is gone at this pace.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:11amI have to say that I think HBO has really missed the boat here. I mean, c’mon, the animation is terrible. If you’re going to put cartoons on television, I’d like to see more effort. Jeez.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:08amWhat a progressive panel that was. Racheal Maddow could be next. The ratings at MSNBC aren’t very good. FOX just kicks their butt and it makes them whine and squeal as they spin their lies. As for keith’s departure, he’ll pop up somewhere else. Maybe he will end up with maher, like Ed McMahon was to Johnny Carson , only without the witt or humor.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 1:08amSeems like Ralph Macchio couldn’t look Maher in the eye when she claimed to know so very little about it. I‘d say she might be next but I saw that Lawrence O’Donnell is being given Olbermann’s time slot which strikes me as rating suicide.
Kind of hurts to see Stephen Moore going on Maher’s show.

Thought I was having an allergic reaction to to the anti-emetic required to view Ralph and Mayhem..Why replay clip ? That couldn’t have been mild mannered Steven Moore from FNC, could it. But sadly it was, Maybe he went on to show genuine “good hair”. If you hadn,t mentioned it 51, I would have been sure of my hallucination.. But Steven always wheres those glow in the dark ties!

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 7:22amM&M’s as a chocolate treat are great, but Maddow & Maher as television personalities leave a very bad and sour taste in my mouth. Narcissism is Maher’s best quality. His ego has gone to his head and he has to try to put all others down in order to prop himself up.
Report Post »Maddow isn’t a name filed by most Americans in their Rolidex. Women like her are a dime a dozen that come and go without any fanfare.
