Bill Maher on ‘Rosengate’: Meant to Say Ann Romney Has ‘Never Gotten Her Ass Out of the House to Work’

Bill Maher on Rosengate: She Meant to Say Ann Romney Has Never Gotten Her Ass Out of the House to Work

HBO

Weighing in on the controversy that became known as “Rosengate,“ Bill Maher said Friday he thinks Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen meant to say Ann Romney ”has never gotten her ass out of the house to work.”

Rosen drew outrage this week when she said the stay-at-home wife of GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney “never worked a day in her life.” Rosen subsequently apologized for her remarks, saying she did not mean to denigrate stay-at-home moms.

First calling the flap the latest in “stupid, non-consequential meaningless controversies” to engulf the presidential campaign, Maher said Rosen’s word choice was “perhaps inartful.”

“But what she meant to say, I think, was that Ann Romney has never gotten her ass out of the house to work,” Maher said. “No one’s denying that being a mother is a tough job — I remember that I was a handful. OK, but there is a big difference in being a mother in that tough job, and getting your ass out of the door at 7 a.m. when it’s cold, having to deal with the boss, being in a workplace, and even if you’re unhappy you can’t show it for eight hours, that is a different kind of tough thing, isn’t it?”

Watch the clip below (content warning – strong language). Hilary Rosen/Ann Romney discussion begins around the 4:40 mark:

Maybe Bill Maher hates women because that appendage on his face that some call a nose, is actually a twin sister who never quite formed before birth. Instead of facillitating his breathing, this appendage is using his needed oxygen causing death of his brain cells. Then again, maybe he is the appendage of the “nose.” There does seem to be a war for oxygen there and someone is losing it. Maybe he could buy his sistah a hat and appease her.

If you are wealthy why go out and take a job that somone who really needs it, is put on welfare because you can’t stand to stay home with your kids. I have a friend with 4 kids and she is staying home to homeschool them after she found out what the libral teachers are craming down the kids throats. She got tired of deprograming the kids when they came home and now her kids are working above what they were doing at school.

It’s no secret that Ron Paul is a favorite among liberal talk show hosts (wonder why huh?), but Bill Maher vigorously defended Paul’s libertarian foreign policy positions and admitted they were more aligned with his own rather than President Obama. Maher gives Paul credit for taking a more [progressive position on foreign issues than the president].

When big time liberal Rob Reiner was on Maher’s show the night he made those comments regarding Paul… he stated Maher was only in Paul’s corner because of Paul’s progressive position on drugs.

One thing about Maher though I guess… he knows a progressive when he sees one, and that progressive is Ron Paul in his eyes… whether Maher was high on drugs that night or not.

Maher thinks he’s working? He couldn’t handle a single day of real work. I worked full time and went to college. I’ve gone 3 days without sleep numerous times and worked 32 hours straight doing exhausting physical labor. I’ve hauled 250 lb rolls of carpet up 4 flights of stairs without help, built massive walls hauling 70 lb bricks in 90+ degree weather. He’s nothing but a nose on a stick; looks like he weighs 70 lbs soaking wet and has never lifted anything heavier than a pencil in his life. He’s in no position to judge – he HAS NO CLUE how hard some of us have it and how little we get for our struggle.
Because of over-regulation and careless spending, too many jobs get sent to Asia. Because their are so few jobs and too many people desperate for work, our pay isn’t competitive. People are easily replaced. Big government politicians only make life harder and harder for us poor working people. Some Liberals like Maher are so INCREDIBLY clueless to the damage they cause to society because they live in Liberal bubbles. They are snobs and would never lower themselves to actually speak with poor workers. They refuse to listen to anyone who tells them their policies don‘t work because they are arrogant and can’t admit to being wrong… ABOUT ANYTHING! They don’t understand that their ideas look good on paper, but they only make life harder and harder for poor people like me while they claim they’re helping us.

      SPEAKING GERMAN IN TEXAS
In Texas there is a town called New Braunfels , where there is a large German-speaking population.
One day, a local rancher driving down a country road noticed a man using his hand to drink water from the rancher’s stock pond.

The rancher rolled down the window and shouted: “Sehr angenehm! Trink das Wasser nicht. Die kuehe haben darein geschissen.”

Which means: “Glad to meet you! Don’t drink the water. The cows have **** in it.”

The man shouted back: “I’m Bill Maher from New York and just down here campaigning for Obama. I can’t understand you. Please speak in English.”

The odds are that if the Democrats are saying “Republicans are (blank)” where blank equals something derogative, it usually means the Dems recognize something about themselves that they’re seeing in the Right. If they’re making a case that the GOP isevil in some way or another, check into he Dems and whtever it is that they’re charging. You’ll find it.

In fact, the comments from all these stories are interchangable as they are all just a bunch of ad hominem attacks. So, the Blaze gets a lot of mileage out of Maher which is good for running their own business. The real question should be: Why do Blaze readers continue to allow themselves to be manipulated by the same old red meat stories?

“look at me envy”: Bill knows that when ever he says boring dumb things the press will pick it up..for so long until the patterns burns out. Free publicity for a bad show is great, but eventually the show becomes the problem. John Stuart does a very funny show without these stunts and Bill has Stuart Envy. Obama might suck as a president, but when it comes to campaigning and message discipline, this White House knows what it’s doing (it doesn’t hurt to have the MSM carrying your water, either). Speaking of his wife Michelle just a few days prior to Rosen’s attack, President Obama launched a little theme that should sound familiar after last night’s fireworks:
“And once Michelle and I had our girls, she gave it her all to balance raising a family and pursuing a career–and something that could be very difficult on her, because I was gone a lot.
“Once I was in the state legislature, I was teaching, I was practicing law, I’d be traveling,” he said. “And we didn’t have the luxury for her not to work.”
Oh, boo-hoo for the Harvard graduate.

    From John Nolte/Breitbart
The Obama campaign would have us believe that last night on CNN Obama advisor and frequent White House guest, Hilary Rosen, spoke out of turn with her indefensible attack on Ann Romney and every woman who chooses to stay home and raise her family. But in a speech last Friday at “The White House Forum on Women and the Economy,” President Obama seemed to be laying the groundwork for exactly this attack.
By last Friday, it was already apparent that the only thing stopping Mitt Romney from becoming the GOP presidential nominee were mere formalities, and talk had already begun among Obama’s media allies that Ann Romney, the wife of our likely nominee, was going to be a huge asset for the Republican ticket. Attractive, charismatic, warm, well-spoken, intelligent, and likeable on sight, she would do much to not only soften her husband’s edges but also to help shore up the so-called gender gap.
As we’ve all seen since President Obama stabbed the Catholic Church in the back a couple of months ago, Obama is cynically plotting a path to re-election through a phony “war on women.” Because he can’t run on a failed record, the White House and the media are hoping this divisive tactic will scare enough women into voting against Romney.
When that’s your sinister plot, a woman like Ann Romney is a serious problem.
So last night on CNN, Hilary Rosen attacked Ms. Romney. But almost immediately afterward, the Obama campaign assured us Rosen doesn’t

Another reason to not watch and totally dislike Bill Maher; I stopped watching HBO long ago because they carry him (TV’s Satan)

Yes, yes it is among those with I suspect that fall in the following demographics:
      22 – 30 yrs old
      LWP (living with parents)
$49,000 plus in student loan debt
      underemployed
do not pay for their own cable
Also watch: Jersey Shore, Archer, MSNBC
      $6,000 credit card debt
      do not pay rent

So yeah, there‘s gotta’ be at least a million of ‘em out there with time to watch this. I can say I don’t know a single soul.

And once again, this lost soul degrades our political dialogue to the level of playground potty humor.

    I pity this guy.

Okay, enough. Two prototypical left wing Jews, Rosen and Maher, do what prototypical Jews do, degrade traditional culture. The way I see it, if they can engage in the gutter, then the response can come from that same gutter. They’ve hid behind antisemitism for far too long, denigrating our traditional culture.

So Bill Maher would rather have his wife (or mother, or sister) farm out her labor to an employer??? Would he rather have a complete stranger raise his children (in his case: spawn) at some daily kid kennel? Oh wait, he’s rich enough to have a nanny/stranger-for-hire (funny, they’re typically female…) do the lowly task of child rearing and homemaking. His MO: Get that woman’s ass out into the “workforce”.

When Maher looks in the mirror he sees a hairy orifice looking back.

Bill, how sexist of you! Hillary is a grown woman and can speak for herself. She meant what she said. If any clarification is needed it should come from her, not you.

“….and I remember that I was a handful.” Yes. And you still are : a huge handful of tacky, distasteful, hate filled garbage that HBO has the misfortune to confuse with comedy. Please slap your mother for the poor job she did in raising you.

You nailed in Bill — 8 hours, then your done. Mom‘s don’t get 8 seconds off. They’re always “on call.” Sounds like he trying to write his own jokes again.
