Last month almost 600 of you commented on our post about Bill Maher’s rant about Americans are like stupid dogs. We’ll apparently he is determined to prove the point. He’s trotted out the line once again. This time with Michael Moore!

Maybe he should stop with the names and get his own house in order. It’s a way he can justify this governments utter failure to do anything about the immense problems that we have right now, with the maniacal overspending and government expansion and the monitizing of our debt!
As for Michael Moore. He tells you his seemingly benevolent half-truths. Maybe the young people have discovered just exactly what Obama is and that’s why they are no longer voting for him. They were duped the first time. Now they’ve become alot smarter, because the “hope” they’d been hoping for has turned into something quite different. Despair and no hope and the highest unemployment in years for that demographic to boot! They’re not stupid! They‘ve come to their senses and they’re not likely to change their opinion in 2012 when they are still unemployed and when Obama has dragged this country down further into his pit of despair-Socialism and Soros-orchestrated global tyranny.
America knows a fake when they see one. And, you two are an example of the biggest ones! Name-calling is about all you do. I guess it makes you feel cool when your audience laughs at your silly just words. You have absolutely no solutions to our problems, just propaganda to cover them up and lull our young people into thinking that you do.
What a pity that your propaganda and appearing “cool” doesn’t deceive most of us!

If there is one way to get folks on your side calling them names (typical socialist tactic), demeaning them and their intelligence is not it.
Americans may not all be Rhodes Scholars (thank GOD, if B.J.Clinton is the “Example”) but they saved your families heritage, Mr. Maher, and they were still foolish enough to still raise you to adulthood. We can’t actually thank them despite the fact that a mind is a terrible thing to waste, you still benefit from the Americans you call “stupid dogs”.
I find that to be despicable in the classic sense of the word. Bad form, Bill.

Moore’s “last f****** thread” expletive was just to make Maher smile, cuz Maher’s show is on cable and they can “get away with it”. Good for the ratings.
Also, there was this time when they had this Congressman or someone (forgot who it was or his title), and Maher got down on his knees to “beg” him to make a certain decision, and then Moore got down on his knees on the other side of the man right afterward. If you watch it, you can see it was like “Maher just got down on his knees, so I think I’ll do that, too”.
Moore’s not edgy – he’s a tool. And a “useful idiot” at that.

Yeah, I’m inclined to agree, unfortunately.
But rather than acknowledging that all humans can learn, Maher opts for central planning, instead. And that’s not just a low view of the current intellectual climate – which, again, I think he’s right about – but that’s a low view of people, in general, and THAT’S the most disturbing and dangerous part about his view.
