Bill Maher Tweets ‘Jesus Just F**ked #TimTebow Bad!’ on…Christmas Eve

Leftist comedian Bill Maher has always had a penchant for spouting offensive commentary. And, up until recently, the Denver Broncos were on a winning streak, with many wondering if God was playing a role in quarterback Tim Tebow’s successes. While these facts may seem completely unrelated, on Saturday, they converged when Maher sent an anti-Tim Tebow tweet that ignited a flurry of unhappy responses.

Allow me to explain the scenario.

On Christmas Eve, the Denver Broncos suffered a pretty hefty loss to the Buffalo Bills (the final score was 40-14). It seemed Tebow, who has captivated fans and media audiences over the past two months, was off of his game — to say the least.

Bill Maher Wow, Jesus just f**ked Tim Tebow bad | Bill Maher Tim Tebow Twitter

Maher, who is highly critical of religion, found the loss entertaining enough to tweet about it. His message, which employed some pretty harsh themes, read, “Wow, Jesus just f**ked #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere in hell Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler “Hey, Buffalo’s killing them.” Here’s a copy of the offensive message:

Bill Maher Wow, Jesus just f**ked Tim Tebow bad | Bill Maher Tim Tebow Twitter

Fox News’ Eric Bolling, among others, responded strongly to the social media proclamation. Here’s a tweet that Bolling responded with:

Bill Maher Wow, Jesus just f**ked Tim Tebow bad | Bill Maher Tim Tebow Twitter

Bolling wasn’t alone in his frustration over the tweet. You can monitor all of the Twitter responses to Maher’s comment here.

Ah, is Bill Maher getting coal this year, is this why he is so mad? No one likes you enough to send you gifts?

He must be a very lonely man and a very sad one that he has no problem insulting Christians and Tim Tebow in the same tweet. His comeuppance will come some day and when it does, I hope it has a lasting burn in his soul.

I will pray that God makes his best judgement for you.

According to several studies, the Left can claim more Christians than the Right, but only by a point or two, depending on which study you site. Those Christians on the Left tend to think of Christians on the Right as “extreme” in their social conservatism. Christians on the Right tend to think of those on the Left as Social Justice advocates. Both are wrong, of course, and both have lost their way.

Maher has one thing in common with Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. They are all entertainers. They make money by saying outrageous things, ridiculous things, just to offend people.

Coulter once said, “These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband’s deaths so much.” -on 9/11 widows who have been critical of the Bush administration

Yes, it’s outrageous, but it gets them in the news, provokes people and ultimately increases their profits.

Come on guys, this is just capitalism. If you don’t like capitalism, go live in North Korea. If you can’t distinguish legitimate argument from nonsensical BS, then go take a course in logic or something.

I’ll give you one thing Billy, Rosemary Clooney was hot. But “White Christmas” hasn’t worn well given all the wars the US has been in since. They just don’t make wars like WWII anymore.

Conservatives are less caring Billy, that’s part of the definition of the word. The conservative view is “every man for himself.” In the words of the conservative philosopher Ayn Rand, ““I am challenging the base of all these institutions, I am challenging the moral code of altruism, the precept that man’s moral duty is to live for others, that man must sacrifice to others . . . since I’m challenging the base, I’m necessarily challenging the institutions that are the base of that morality.” By “institutions” she meant religious institutions. But you know that being a devotee.

I have news for Billie boy. The reign of re ta rds like him is coming to an end.

“The free, equal, and undisturbed enjoyment of religious opinion, whatever it may be, and free and decent discussions on any religious [143 U.S. 457, 471] subject, is granted and secured; but to revile, with malicious and blasphemous contempt, the religion professed by almost the whole community is an abuse of that right. Nor are we bound by any expressions in the constitution, as some have strangely supposed, either not to punish at all, or to punish indiscriminately the like attacks upon the religion of Mahomet or of the Grand Lama; and for this plain reason that the case assumes that we are a Christian people, and the morality of the country is deeply ingrafted upon Christianity, and not upon the doctrines or worship of those impostors.” And in the famous case of Vidal v. Girard‘s Ex’rs, 2 How. 127, 198, this court, while sustaining the will of Mr. Girard, with its provisions for the creation of a college into which no minister should be permitted to enter, observed: “it is also said, and truly, that the Christian religion is a part of the common law of Pennsylvania.”

      To finish my above post.

If we pass beyond these matters to a view of American life, as expressed by its laws, its business, its customs, and its society, we find everywhere a clear recognition of the same truth. Among other matters note the following: The form of oath universally prevailing, concluding with an appeal to the Almighty; the custom of opening sessions of all deliberative bodies and most conventions with prayer; the prefatory words of all wills, “In the name of God, amen;” the laws respecting the observance of the Sabbath, with the general cessation of all secular business, and the closing of courts, legislatures, and other similar public assemblies on that day; the churches and church organizations which abound in every city, town, and hamlet; the multitude of charitable organizations existing everywhere under Christian auspices; the gigantic missionary associations, with general support, and aiming to establish Christian missions in every quarter of the globe. These and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation. In the face of all these, shall it be believed that a congress of the United States intended to make it a misdemeanor for a church of this country to contract for the services of a Christian minister residing in another nation?

I just wonder if Bill’s Jewish ethnicity has anything to do with the way he feels about Christians?

Bill has found out that radical statements get him air time, just like everyone else on the left has. Sometimes I wish evil things come to these folks who have the stage to spread their hate of Jesus Christ. But as I have just returned home from Mass to celebtate the Birth of Jesus I know that I not worry, he is in control and justice will be served.

Maher was raised as a member in the Catholic Church hed didn’t know him Mother had Jewish Blood in her until he was 13 or 14.
.Maher was born in New York City, the son of Julie (née Berman), a nurse, and William Maher, Sr., a network news editor and radio announcer.[6] He was raised in his Irish American father’s Catholic religion, remaining unaware that his mother was Jewish until his early teenage years.[7][8][9][10] Maher’s family stopped attending church services when Maher was thirteen, due to his father‘s disagreement with the Catholic Church’s position on birth control

I don’t see a mature, successful comedian; I see a little boy who is empty inside, lashing out at others because he doesn’t understand them. Whatever happened to the love and need for diversity that those on the left seem to claim so righteously? He needs to see the Love that Christians are supposed to represent vs the scorn, (and there was a time I would have reacted with scorn).

This is where we’ll have to agree to disagree. While what you say is indeed true it deserves a little more analysis than it appears that you and millions like you are willing to undertake. The numbers and statistics speak for themselves and they speak loudly. It takes some really gullible, naive, and cerebrally challenged individuals to completely ignore what is being said by the statistics. However, I’d be willing to wager a limb that if Spielberg was to make a Hollywood production providing case and example of what I suggest as truth and then go on to provide proof in typical Hollywood dramatic fashion, the same millions which parrot such banal statements as you have made would reverse course overnight and become one with the new accepted and recommended stream of thought. It’s called “group-think” paperphsermj. People are entirely too impressionable and are not trained to think critically.

I think that’s the point. Unless Tim Tebow falls to his knees and starts praying every twenty minutes all day every day, no matter what he’s doing, then he’s the one fostering the stupid idea that God would care about a football game. If people who watch him are dumb enough to think that makes sense, then it would also make sense to that losses are signs of God’s disfavor.

Okay, I see now that the entire thing is taken from the 1890 Supreme Court decision Davis v Beason. I was, however, correct in that most of your first post is a quote of a quote, and did come from a New York Supreme Court decision in 1811. The 1811 decision was directly concerned with blasphemous speech, while the 1890 case was not. More importantly, the binding precedent on this subject is the 1955 decision in Joseph Burstyn, Inc. v. Wilson which declared laws against sacrilege and blasphemy to be unconstitutional abridgement of free speech. So, unless you can get a state legislature to pass an unconstitutional law against blasphemy, and get the Supreme Court to hear an appeal after the District Court rules it unconstitutional, and you shower them with these musty old quotes from the 19th century and get them to reverse Joseph Burstyn, Inc. v. Wilson, it doesn’t matter what anybody said back then.

That’s what those little “ quotation ” mark thingys are for. The point being, this Nation was, is, and will always be a Christian Nation JUST AS THE FOUNDERS declared. I don’t personally celebrate Christmas in any of the orthodox traditions, but for meatheads to make the asinine assertions Billie boy makes is not not historically wrong, it is according to fundamental law a direct heresy attacking the very pillars of this Nations heritage.

Your new age pigeonholing of bastardized information can get laid out in front of you and force you to research to come face to face with the truth. Evil ALWAYS intends to change times and laws, but as a wise man once said (more research for you), the people will set it to right. The thing is, there is NOTHING RHINO’s and all sides of the Progressive tripe can do about Americans taking this Country back and returning it the greatest Nation the world has ever known. Your side has betrayed both pillars that another brilliant and heroic figure of Founding cited (more research for you) cited in his farewell address. If you study real hard you‘ll know what’s coming that can’t be stopped.

Yeah, actually I know what those little “ quotation ” mark thingys are for, and I know that for the sake of clarity the correct way to use them is to surround the entire quote with normal quotation marks (“ ”) and set off quotes within a quote with single quote marks (‘ ‘). Whether you like it or not, no matter what you think the law should be, under the current laws of our nation blasphemy is free speech, and laws against it are unconstitutional. You can always try to change the law, but in this case I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. Speaking of research, any good thesaurus could supply you with dozens of colorful ways to call people idiots without having to resort to misusing the space bar in order to sneak in a term that the censors on this site deem offensive to the disabled.

@horse. He has to hate and discredit and destroy. Because if he does not, or cannot, he has to face the truth that he is a bent sinner and in need of redemption (like us all). He can’t/won’t until he bows his knee to the fact that he cannot be his own god and do as he pleased. If he acknowledges that there is an Almighty, he has to face some (what seems to humans) unpleasant truths.

The sadder truth is that until he is willing to turn to the Father, he will never know love, only selfishness and hate. He is doing what is normal to those attempting to run from God.

The better news this Christmas is that it is his kindness that leads us to repentance. May this be true for Bill

sometimes ‘faith’ can be misplaced by otherwise GOOD people. case in point (do your own research and betcha it’ll take ya back to 312 a.d. when Roman general Constantine ‘hadda dream’ fashioned ‘cross’ standards, won a battle and Wa-LA! PAGANs became CATHOLIC, OVERNIGHT!! ;-)

TXGOLD right-on. I think we have a non-believer-know-it-all in our mist. It is so cute that taxpro4uo3 THINKS…history is this persons faith, and that it will save his poor little soul.

WARNING: beware of wolves in sheeps clothing, Constantine was in no-sense of a Christian to start with. He was a roman elite who saw an opprotunity to use Christians religion for his power and the beginning of the roman catholic church empire. Very far from the teachings of Jesus Christ.

It is the progressive elites in this world who starts wars, keeps the poor, poor.

Paperpusher, you are so right. Why is it that people like Maher are desperate to have everyone else think the way they do. Maher – get over it! And quit taking cheap shots at Jesus like in your Tebow statement.! Some of us happen to think that Jesus is our savior, and it is offensive and disgusting to hear people talk about Jesus in that way. Show a little decency for God’s sake!.

This Bill Maher is generally a malcontent and also one sarcastic SOB., but what else can he do except
belittle people that are better than he is. This person suffers from an extreme Low Self Esteem complex and in his way of compensating for it has to vainly attempt to make him self out to be more than just some Left Wing Nut Job. I pity this little man he must actually loath him self.

The reason like Bill maher, they all feel guilty. That is why they hate Christians.
Because we shine the light on their sins and they hate Christians because of that.

When a person like bill maher feels guilty…they will lie, bare false witness, cheat, or kill to hide their guilt. That is why they hate Christians so much.

Ultimate betrayal goes Waaaaay back — try THIS on for size — then do some research on ol’ Roman Empire General Constantine, who ‘hadda dream’ and decided to bear a ‘cross’ as a standard into battle – the year was 312 a.d. – The Roman Empire was in full-swing PAGAN mode until after this battle. READ SOME HISTORY!!!! – Myths and storybooks are GREAT for ‘faith.’ true HISTORY tells it a lil differently. be CAREFUL who you pledge allegiance to, and who/what you place your TRUST in when it comes to MAN.

Constantine converted to Christianity during his reign. He also gave the Christians of his time their churches back, although his counterpart, Galerius, in the east did not.

That has to it. He can’t possibly BE that stupid.

It’s interesting how evil manifests itself vs. how God manifests Himself. Evil uses ignorant self absorbed people as tools. Evil doesn’t inform them they are tools. It just uses them.

God, on the other hand, informs those who choose to be faithful of all that shall be theirs. But, to use caution. As evil will try to use you as well.

Maher couldn’t be “relevant’ on a bet. He’s too caught up as a tool of evil.

Really can’t see the reason that the Blaze would ever post anything about Bill Maher. He only does this to try to improve on his ratings. I sure don’t waste any electricity watching this idiot.

The best thing you can say about Bill Maher is he is jealous of Tim Tebow because Tim has something that Bill can never get.

What did you expect from Bill Maher. The only way leftist TV shows can stay on the air is with shock value. They try to convince their audiences that right wing shows stay on the air the same way, that’s why people attribute such crazy things to Beck and Limbaugh. They assume without listening that right wingers are as offensive and vile as the people they listen to.

Remember who you’re dealing with here.
