Billy Graham Hospitalized in North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Evangelist Billy Graham remains in a North Carolina hospital after being admitted for treatment of pneumonia.

A spokesman for Mission Hospital in Asheville confirmed early Thursday that the 92-year-old Graham was still at the hospital and there’s no change in his condition.

Dr. Shaw Henderson, a pulmonologist, said Graham is being treated with antibiotics and was “clinically stable.”

A more detailed report on Graham’s condition is expected later Thursday.

A spokesman for Graham says he went to the hospital Wednesday morning after he experienced sweating, coughing and breathing difficulty Tuesday night. Larry Ross says Graham was never in distress.

Graham’s primary physician, Dr. Lucien Rice, said no date had been set for Graham’s release.

His son, Franklin Graham, was in North Korea and had no plans to return home now.

I have always said that the day the Lord takes Billy Graham home, is the day America will stop receiving God’s blessings. We are so close to losing our republic.

Lord please watch over Billy Graham. Your will be done.

It would have been great if he was a mighty man of God that would have told Obama to repent. Many religious men who start out great end up falling away. Billy Graham says that there is more than one way to heaven. God is in the business of tearing down the idols of men, even if those idols are other men. Men need to look up to God and give him glory not man. Billy is old and everybody dies. He is no more important than anybody else.

Cesium, I assume that you were speaking of Billy Graham when you simply posted “greedy lying A%hole sinner”. I am sure that he would be the first to admit that he is a sinner, that at some time in life he lied, that in his heart he has had to fight greed and that he, in fact, has the anatomical part that you mentioned. Then he would tell you that all of that is the reason he needs a savior; Jesus Christ. If he were perfect he would not need a savior. What i can tell you is that Billy Graham had a role in my coming to faith in Jesus and that my life, my families lives and eternities have been radically changed. In addition, i have been privileged to begin a ministry that brings God’s love and Good News to people now in 27 countries and 100s of thousands have been helped. So, that sinner, Billy Graham, has, by God’s grace, impacted millions for good. I am proud to be counted with him as a sinnerwho has been saved by God’s grace and is trying (yet failing and struggling) to live by that grace every day.

“By their fruits, you will know them.” I have never heard Billy Graham speak nor do I know much about him other then the general knowledge at the results of his crusades. If it is indeed by their fruits that you know them, then Billy Graham is a great man of God and a true follower of Christ. When at the end of your life, you have nothing to boast in but Jesus Christ, you have “run your race” well indeed. If this is indeed your time, Mr. Graham, I pray that you go in peace to Christ for a well-deserved rest. When I follow by the power of Jesus Christ someday, I hope to get to know you.

WE thank YOU for the opportunity to pray for Billy Graham’s health, his physicians and all in attendance around him. LORD, we thank YOU for this great lion of GOD who dwelt among us and yet managed to keep his focus on YOU.

Thank YOU, LORD, that you loved and love us enough to give us this man for so long a time. We thank YOU for YOUR healing presence all around him and all around us.

In JESUS’ sweet and powerful name we pray, amen.

Don’t take my word for it, do your own homework…
313 AD to 1520 AD: The Roman Catholic Vatican ruled the world which they called their ‘Holy See.’
1534AD: Pope Paul III established the Roman Catholic Jesuit Society ‘Society of Jesus’ aka the ‘IHS’ to have male priests form a secretive group of men to infiltrate and destroy the new Global Protestant Christian/Judeo Alliance movement from within, to regain their Holy See (Vatican Rule.)
1535-1881AD: Roman Catholic Jesuits (IHS) are expelled from over 183 countries for ‘Religious Political Subversion and Economic Manipulation.’ They were able to do so by PRETENDING TO BE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF OTHER FAITHS to gain trust from within. Once their trust was reached, they were easily elected into position of power, which they could then empower the Vatican once again.
Georgetown & Harvard Roman Catholic Jesuits (IHS) now control the Democrat Party

Oh for crying out loud. Make up your mind. Either all the world leaders are Jews, Catholics, Masons, Mormons or Alien worshippers, or related to each other – but they can’t be ALL those things at once. Which conspiracy theory is true? Or is reality true? There are to many choices. Let’s decide which conspiracy theory is most plausible and all rally behind that one. THAT might work. But this nonsense of coming up with a new theory every week is for one, embarrassing, and secondly, we all have lives. We don‘t have time to read all these lunatic blogs and links to figure out if this week’s tripe is valid.

I need to add some more to my last comment because some people may be fooled, so I will explain further. I am familiar with this particular article, and the way it was cut and spliced together. In this interview, Billy Graham was saying that even people who had never seen, or read a Bible, or heard the gospel preached, knew instinctfully that there was a greater being in their lives, and that when they were given the chance to hear the Word, and to ask for salvation, they were eager to accept Christ. The Grahams are honest men who speak plainly, so they often will answer a question in such a way that it is easy for someone to take their words and twist them. The devil is talented, and has a lot of help.

I heard Erick Erickson talking about that last night on the radio. He made the comment that a LOT of people have pneumonia today. He sounded awful himself but explained that his is an allergy that occurs every year, either in April or May, depending upon the rain.

I’m glad The Blaze posted this so that people would know about it. I am praying for Billy Graham’s recovery. We need him in these troublesome times, and he needs our prayers.
