(The Blaze/AP) — A spokesman for Billy Graham says the 93-year-old evangelist is being treated at a North Carolina hospital for bronchitis.
A joint statement Sunday from Graham’s spokesman and Mission Hospital says Graham was admitted overnight for an infection in his lungs. The hospital is in Asheville, near his home in Montreat.
He is resting comfortably in stable condition.
Graham spokesman Larry Ross says the evangelist watched a television feed of his grandson, Will Graham, preaching Sunday morning in Spartanburg, S.C. He ate lunch with his daughter, Gigi, and one of his grandchildren.
Graham was hospitalized for pneumonia last November. His staff says the evangelist’s health has been good since his release, though he remains at home due to age-related conditions. He is working on a manuscript for an upcoming book.
Graham was hospitalized twice last year for pneumonia, first in May and again in November.

Posted on August 12, 2012 at 5:47pmSuch a blessing….our hopes and prayers go out for him and his family…..and all of his followers. He has lead his flock down the path of righteousness. Mindless sheep in the beautiful meadows of spiritual awareness and enlightenment. As he passes into the next part of his journey, he goes to Christ in confidence that he has lead his life like a shining star of truth based on the Holy scriptures. Although we live in a time of sin, doubt, and terrible fakers like Tammy Faye and Jim Baker, Benny Him, Ted Haggard, Paul Crouch, Peter Popoff, etc….It’s good to know that a real man of god has been able to live and continue preaching the good and true word! May God Bless him!!!

I remember your special sermons as a child….I can still hear the song “Lamb of God” that was played at the end of your sermons where anyone was invited to come up after the show to receive a Blessing or to accept Jesus that day.
You touched the lives of so many people!!!!
I wish you and your family the very best

Posted on August 13, 2012 at 2:44amThe world today doesn‘t recognize God’s chosen vessels anymore. I hope Mr. Graham can at least live to see some kind of turnaround in this country before he passes. God can still use him and I believe that as long as he has breath he will spread the Gospel as best he can.

Posted on August 12, 2012 at 2:55pmIt looks at though he is in his final days on this Earth – God has already prepared a place for him.
I have a strong feeling that when he enters the Gates of Heaven – God is going to tell him “Well Done Good And Faithful Servant.”
The World will miss him.

Posted on August 13, 2012 at 11:47amSince bother Billy is about to kick the bucket, I‘m sure he’s going to will his entire fortune to needy children and puppies, right? After all, he raised his own children to be self-sufficient so they really don’t need any of it.
