Bin Laden Roots for Arab Revolution in Just-Released Final Audio Recording

WASHINGTON (AP) — Shortly before his death, Osama bin Laden recorded a message praising the Middle East protest movements and predicting that revolutions would spread across the region.

“I think that the winds of change will blow over the entire Muslim world, with permission from Allah,” bin Laden said in the 12-minute message released online Wednesday.

The message was released as a video, but it contains only an audio track and a photo of the terrorist leader.

Though both bin Laden and the West have generally supported protest movements in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere, their goals are very different. The West hopes the protests will lead to democratic reforms. Bin Laden and his followers saw many Middle East governments as corrupt and hoped their collapse would lead to government based on their interpretation of Islamic law.

In the recording, Bin Laden accused rulers of building themselves into idols and manipulating the media to stay in power.

“So, what are you waiting for?” he implored listeners. “Save yourselves and your children, because the opportunity is here.”

Bin Laden was killed by Navy SEALs in a daring May 2 raid. U.S. intelligence officials were aware that the recording was in the pipeline. The video was released to jihadist websites by al-Qaida’s media arm and was obtained and translated by SITE Intelligence Group.

Bin Laden was known to record many of his thoughts, and intelligence officials are poring over the recordings discovered in his Pakistani compound. But it’s unclear whether he released any other recordings prior to his death or whether this is the final sermon from the terrorist mastermind.

    “In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly: they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during WWII, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

    For those that were listening (and awake) – on the first day of the 911 incident, or that next day, bin laden denied involvement.
    Ever heard of him/them denying involvement before in something like that – if you plan and carry out a huge event, those guys RUSH to take credit. Yet bin laden denied it.

    THEN…… the media began reporting, and releasing audio/video (so called) “proof” that he was claiming responsibility. And that agenda has withstood the last ten years – with those of the mass public who were/are not awake.

    Again, discern, people, discern.

    Reports say the entire raid (from the time their boots hit the ground – to exit – lasted 40 minutes.

    Yet, reports also list alllllllll the items recovered within that time frame. i.e. a “treasure trove” of information and items.

    This was supposedly a three story compound – so, eh, are we to believe that all of these “treasure trove” items were conveniently all stacked up out in the open just ready and waiting to be taken – no one had to actually “look” for anything, huh – just whiz in, grab the “treasure trove” and whiz right back out.

    And the gunfire (allegedly three people shot during the three floor ascent) that was ongoing during the ascent up the stairs wasn’t heard by bin laden – if he had weapons stacked beside him yet upon entry by the sealers we are told that he was unarmed.

    Discern, people, discern.

      When Shriah law is installed in America and your grand daughter is accused being a prostitute (By only one witness), tried by a Muslim cleric and sentanced to be stoned (buried in dirt up to her neck and then stoned with cement blocks and heavy rocks) how will you feel? When a female relative of yours is publically flogged for asking to be allowed to drive a car or vote, how will you feel? When your son or grandson is shot by a firing squad for having a bible in his library, how will you feel? If you are still living and are given the choice (Once) to convert to Islam and you refuse, what will be your reaction to being sentanced to death? Is an arranged marriage (On pain of death for refusal) what you want for your grand daughter? Being flogged for not wearing a burka? Eliminate our Constitution and Declaration of Independence and replace them with Shariah Law? This is what the hard line Islamists want for you, your family and for America. Are you willing to submit to that?

      It is true that all presently Moslem countries are not that hard line. However,the lunatics from Al Quida, the Taliban, Iran Fatah, Hamas, Hezbolla and the “Moslem Brotherhood” would impliment the rules on America and the whole world. Even moderate Islamic governments are threatened by these groups. Europe, because of the heavy influx of Arab immigrints, is already feeling the weight of this.

      Thank GOD for those who are sounding the warning. They are the watchmen on the wall.
