Bizarre: Would-Be Robber Gets Spanked on Bare Buttocks and… ‘Bear-Sprayed’ by Shopkeepers

A convenience store owner in Canada turned the tables on a pair of would-be robbers by using “bear spray” to stop the crooks in their tracks. As of Friday, both men were taken into custody. However, before the crooks ended up in jail, one of the robbers was bent over the store’s counter by the owner and spanked on his bare butt. Yes, we said spanked.

It was minutes before closing time when a pair of hoodie-wearing, masked crooks entered the store in a suburb of Ottowa. They flashed knives and demanded cash from the owner Zhen Yang. The quick-thinking Yang grabbed a can of something typically used to keep bears away, a product called “Counter Assault.”

Robber Gets Spanked and Bear Sprayed by Zhen Yang in Canada

The powerful pepper spray product that stopped the robbers in their tracks is meant to be used as bears approach from a great distance. You can see just how strong the spray is when Yang deploys it inside the store.

One of the crooks ran, but the other one was grabbed, bent over the counter and spanked by the store owner. Don’t believe us? Watch the video from the store’s security camera.

But there was a little more “street justice” to be doled out as members of the Yang family came downstairs from their second-floor apartment to help Zhen. (Content warning: In this video posted by the Toronto Sun, Yang‘s wife delivers several kicks to the robber’s head and her husband spanks the man’s naked buttocks.)

Police in Canada did arrest both of the men who tried to rob the Zhen’s store. However, they also warned the family about taking the law into their own hands.

The store owner has not been charged yet, for pepper spraying ( & spanking??) two knife wielding thugs ! Socialist Canada protects is thugs. You just have to love how liberals think.

That store owner was supposed to call 911 and let the law protect him when they arrived, if he and his employees were still alive.
Can’t have people protecting themself, a thug might get hurt.

People can’t seem to get it through their thick skulls that 911 is after the fact.
After the fact you’ve been shot or gutted and your wife or customers are trying to stop their own bleeding. After the fact that if you or yours die, that your done in and the crim. gets out on parole after 5 to 7 years. But you’re dead. Big consolation for crim, your family and the judge.

The store owner should clearly be executed for daring to usurp the right of the State to defend him!
If that alone isn‘t sufficient it would be worth checking to see if he’s missed a couple of doctor visits. If so, he could be executed for violating his right to universal healthcare.

      ROD … “Socialist Canada”?

Uhhh, that’s kinda the pot calling the kettle black these days.

As a Conservative Canadian, I used to envy the more self-sufficient, entrepreneurial character of the United States. But that’s long gone now. I don’t know exactly how it happened, but self-sufficiency has largely been replaced by selfishness and socialist tendencies. The enterprising spirit has been overcome by a sense of entitlement and envy.
The once great character of the country can still be regained of course, but it will only get worse until Obama is out of the White House and a revival of Conservative values occurs. In the meantime, Canada now stands as the “kinder, gentler America” that Bush 1.0 talked about.

Some of you people amaze me. These days these pukes stab or shoot you after the robbing. You gonna just stand there and not defend yourself? Sorry but no longer feasible. If you knew it was only a robbery is one thing but you’re dealing with total out of control animals. A gun saved us and it was more than once. They finally got the hint where I lived and knew that even if they got one of us they wouldn’t be able to get out the door and were locked in. They picked other ways in other stores. They’re on your property to possibly kill youm, then you better learn how to fight back. You libs. better wake up and know that you might die either way. You are a target and need to watch your back and protect yourselves. No longer have the store but you come in the front or back door and I guarantee that as soon as you’re in, you’re going back out on your back. Been there and will continue to protect my family and myself. 911 and the courts, are after your dead or injured. Around here the avg. 911 will be either busy or up to and exceeding 5 min. 5 min. in an armed robbery is a lifetime.

      Abso-freaking-lutely.
The police in general do a great job, but there is the joke of “When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.”
Even if the lazy, cowardly thugs do not have imminent violence on their mind, when they hear that first siren, bad things can happen.
And these days, the incidences of violence during robberies are increasing.
If someone is pointing a gun or a knife at you or your loved ones, you have to assume that they intend to do you harm.
Take them out–better to be judged by 12 than to be carried by six.

Outstanding.Best story I’ve heard in a long time.I‘m kind of surprised they didn’t shoot them. However I think this may work to change the little punks.Nothing like being armed then dismantled and literally getting a spanking. All while trying to commit armed robbery.Tell me folks you think these two will ever live it down. Not a dang chance.I‘m not sure why they didn’t shoot them.Maybe the gun laws in canada, lawsuits or last but maybe not least. They didn’t think they were at much risk for felony crimes. Also may be a traditional courtesy. There isn’t enough room in this post to explain it.Goes back to the adage I brought them in I’ll take them out.

He didn‘t shoot him because it’s nearly impossible to obtain a firearm up here in Canada. Hand guns you can only own if you are going to use at a shooting range, and if you ever get caught with it anywhere other than your house, the range, or on the way to the range, you go to jail. Rifles are easier to obtain but still difficult and the licensing procedure costs close to $500, to complete and required 12 hours of classroom time you are required to attend.

C’mon people, please, when someone is using a gun or knife to steal your hard earned money or merchandise, just let them. You can always use your hard earned cash and take time off from your family business to hire an attorney so they can stretch it out in court followed by a stern look from the judge and reentry to society never to steal again. Remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

In Canada, why when someone threatens you with a knife, you are taking the law into your own hands by disarming the perp? That sounds like the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If someone has a knife, I would assume he is going to use it. There are many senseless acts of violence committed against “compliant” victims. Are Canadian victims expected to be mind readers of the extent of criminal intent?

As others have said, try to take my s**t with any type of weapon and we will see how the criminal will feel with a couple to center mass.

Bear Spray should be standard issue for counter workers in Canada… & .357′s should be standard issue in the USA… Give the criminals a good reson “not” to commit the crime… That reason used to be the cops & time in jail… that doesn’t work anymore… It’s time to find something that does work. Police used to “Protect & Serve”, not they “Show up & write a report”… We probably need to write this on the police units now… just so people don’t get the wrong impression… we need to protect ourselves, that way “your” name doesn’t end up on the “Deceased” line of the report…
