Black Chamber of Commerce Head: Obama is ‘Fanatical’ & ‘Marxist’ — I Only Voted for Him ‘Because He’s Black’

Harry Alford is the president and CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. And boy is he entertaining. He’s also not a fan of many of the business positions Democrats have taken.

You might remember him for his fiery exchange with call-me-Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in 2009, when he accused the senator of infusing race into a congressional hearing:

Today he joined Laura Ingraham on her radio show to talk about Obama’s business policies. He started with this:

“Obama wanted the National Black Chamber to dance to his music and have blind allegiance to his crazy programs and agenda, which are totally anti-business. We are a pro-business organization. So we have to stand on the side of business, and the benefit of our members, which are black entrepreneurs.”

Eventually he got to calling Obama and the administration “Marxist” and “fanatical.”

“They might as well put on the brown shirts and swastikas,” he said.

But that’s not all. Alford also admitted he only voted for Obama “because he’s [Obama] black,” a move he now regrets.

“That is a lesson I will take to my grave,” he said solemnly, later saying Obama is “wrecking” the country and is “dangerous.”

    Obama isn’t a Marxist in my opinion. He is a progressive and marxists and progressives are cut from the same cloth so I can understand why people would think that. How sad though that he voted for him because he is black. THAT IS racist and not mention idiotic.

    All black people voted for Obama because of the color of his skin. A lot of non-black democrats and even independents voted for Obama because of the color of his skin. Remember all the people saying that once the world sees that America can elect a black man that the whole world would love America?

    Dr King’s comments ring more true every day. We need to judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. The only people who want to judge people by the color of their skin these days are liberals, progressives, and communists.

    This man sounds very intelligent. Glad he learned from his mistakes. I agree with Laura on the various racial organizations. We are all Americans… and if you don’t think so.. don’t let the door hit you on they way out across the border.

    That was a great interview! I have been feeling this movement coming from black Americans for the last 6 months and it seems to be growing strong. Finally someone admits they voted for Obama because he is “black” and not because of his [ lack of ] qualifications. Obama has to go.

    when this guy went after Boxer, it was the greatest. I don’t see him folding to anyone. This man could be part of the West or Cain or Bachman WH. Nothing makes me happier than when I see or meet a black man that has it figured out. And there are many of them out there. Black conservative men are one of the keys to ending the racial divide….

The Donald may have had some liberal tendencies in the past but at least he is an ass-kicker and will not let us be bullied by the Saudis, the ****** or other nefarious characters.     I bet if we looked – we could find a bunch of people that feel the way Harry Alford feels.

    Which brings me to one of my main voting complaints.

    When voting for the leader of the USA ———– one of THE most powerful jobs in the world ——
    Some (not all) women vote for a candidate because he has nice hair
    Some people vote because he/she gives a good speach
    Some people vote at the promise of ‘free government cheeze”
    Some people vote because they like the way the name sounds
    Some people vote because their parents voted that way

    We should have a test in order to be able to vote.
    What is ONE point that your candidate stands for? ______________
    How did your candidate vote on Obamacare? ___________________
    Is your candidate for or against abortion? __________________________________
    Is your candidate for or against imigration reform?___________________________
    Is your candidate for or against balancing the economy? _____________________

    THAT way we can prevent Mr Goodhair Nicename from getting elected by the uneducated rhemoras expecting a free lunch.

      Sadly, I may be called a racist. My hubby was furious that when I hired an American Moving company to move us halfway across the company…..They came into my home early in the morning, the movers, (five in all) could not speak one lick of english, could not even talk to me in my language, and there was this other guy that could speak english monitoring the other’s work, came up to me and asked me if all was okay? I said, no! He goes ‘why not?’ I said they do not know what I want done with my packing instructions (mind you, I was paying thousands of dollars to have this done) and the guy says to me, ‘yeah, we deal with it all the time and I said, GET OUT! I didn’t think I was being racist….since when the next thing I asked them all was if they at least had a green card, legal to work in the United States, they all had the same answer…..NO! GET OUT, I said. Get as far away from me as you can go…I have friends that are dying for a job and are legal….I dunno…I must not have it right! I leave it at that…..

    Let the 08 election be a learning lesson for the entire nation as there were plenty of us putting up red flags about BHO but we were told to shut up, be quiet, stop hating, being a bigot and a racist for doing pretty much the MSM’s job. We simply questioned the guys background, voting record and positions.. but no the country got sucked into hopey changey and allowed the hate for Bush to make the worst decision in US presidential voting history.

    You get one more shot in ‘12 kids dont mess up and do not push any member of the good ol boys club to run against the obamination. Cain, West, Christi someone with Trumps attitude to take the fight to the other sides front door. Dont know who but we cannot allow someone to be elected pres again b/c of the color of their skin.

    Sadly, the fact that he sated his vote was race based is not a shocker. The fact that he admits it is. Although, i am absolutely glad to hear him say it because it brings common sense back out to the forefront of critical thinking. I hope more people (white or black) are willing to come forward and speak out like this. BUT, @TheRealist – I think you hit the nail on the head. This guy probably will be ridiculed throughout the black community for speaking out like this. It’s a sad world we live in.

    Well I’m glad he sees that voting for anyone based on skin tone instead of content of character is wrong, and dangerous as we’ve now got a FRAUD in the white house !
    Perhaps the colored community that hasn’t been bought off by massive handouts from our Stimulus package, will also wake up to this fact.
    I favor Allen West not because of his color, but because of his stand up guy character. it is however a bonus that his color will render moot the democratic lie of racist. though they are already calling Allen a “Tom” at the Huff-n-jerk post.       Wait a minute…..wasn’t it their hero, MLK, who dreamed of a day when a man would be judged not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character? And yet, a businessman like Alford had the lack of class, foresight and intelligence to vote for the leader of the free world based, not on the content of his character, but the color of his skin.

      My boss is black; she never reads or listens to the news, and when the election rolled around, listened to the final campaign speeches of Obama and McCain, and based her vote on those speeches. And she’s an intelligent woman! What is wrong with our black community?????

      Just a quick note: In my email I asked Mr Alford if Allen West ran for POTUS or VP is they would support him. I just received a return response saying that, “Yes, they would certainly support that.” He also said that Allen West is going to speak at their 19th Annual Convention in Miami, July 21-23. I believe there may be a new light and hope for our republic. At least I pray there is.

Of course no one said anything when the same amount voted for a “black candidate” it was oh wow geez look he “won the black vote”!       What makes you say that? I admire him for coming out with it. Honestly, why else did anyone vote for BHO? It wasn’t because of his record, it wasn’t because of his (inexistant) message…it was the idea of voting for the first “black” President.       No, that is NOT the reason we need either of those two on the ticket. We need either (or both) on the ticket because they are, together, the most capable men who so far are running. THE MOST CAPABLE MEN, not “The most capable BLACK” men running. I’m not putting my support behind EITHER to seem “anti-racist”, but because neither are career politicians, both are uber-patriotic, and both have a very clear Tea Party message of shrinking government and resoring America to greatness. And if my Representative, Mike Pence were running, I’d want his white ass there ahead of BOTH of these potential canidates. Instead I have to settle for him to be in the second-best position, as Governor of one of the “several states”. And settle I will. Governors, in my opinion are our best hope for restoring America.

    I have a suggestion for all the real americans that follow and post on the blaze. We are giving the trolls, especially this twenty something, basement dweller in his parents’ home, encinom, too much of exactly what he is looking for….Specifically, a reaction. In a football forum that i’m a contributor to, we had a similar left wing nut who was constantly doing nothing but trying to incite crap on the forum with completely brain dead (sorry, no offense to the departed intended) posts. There was no shutting this guy up and the possibility of anything intelligent coming off his keyboard was zero, but he does have a right to speak his mind. So…The forum agreed to completely ignore the diarrhea that exuded from his mouth. It took a few days for many of the casual posters to catch on, but when they did, after four days of nobody acknowledging his meaningless existence, not to mention the dribble in his posts, guess what??? You’ve got it…He disappeared!!! Clearly the trolls have no other purpose in life but to spew lies and idiotic statements. It‘s obvious that folks like him don’t want the facts to get in their ways. We should debate issues and policies with the libs, but only with those who are genuine. Debate only with people who have an interest in the truth…Not the bums who do nothing but troll conservative sites. In conclusion, i would make a bet with anyone that if enci had absolutely no responses to any of his postings for five days, we would never have him disgrace the blaze again with his presence. Seriously, my experience indicates that this will work!!!

      You’re more generous than me. I gave up trying to talk to liberals, because they stick to their talking points no matter the evidence. Or they play tit-for-tat. Or they change the subject. Or they come to a thread on a tornado and post no more than, “Beck got fired.”

      Each of us, alone, would probably stand better chance of defeating the entire US Marine Corps with spitballs than getting through the minefields libs put up to stay on their self-chosen plantation. So, I rarely address them directly and avoid discussion.

      I was driving one completely to frustration last night on another thread. Every time he put up a response to someone, I’d counter it without taking the lib on by name. Eventually, after hours of that, he responded to one of my posts, seeming desperate to gain direct attention. I ignored it.

      Totally ignoring them doesn’t work, it leaves them a self-presumed victory. But when they respond to one of our posts, we simply counter it without writing to them by name. Last night, this lib posted a response that Glenn got fired. I simply shot off a list of the libs who got fired, like Olbermann.

      I write for any benefit I mist muster for fellow Conservatives, not to argue with a troll. If we write only to and for each other, in mutual support, the libs will eventually slither away because they can’t press their case.

      Laughing at them works well, too. Libs tend to take themselves way too seriously, as if their talking points have merit. Let them languish in their own ignorance, because what works for them in coffee shops over $10 lattes fails miserably in the real world.

      Just tactics, really. The trolls don’t gain the battlefield, and we Conservatives walk away better informed than when we came online.

      However you do things, have fun with it!

      And the Left says we have no sense of humor…*LOL*

      On topic … It’s amazing to me that we give people a pass when they say they voted for someone because of their skin color. That is the most ignorant statement anyone can make. Voting for someone because of their skin color IS a racist act. I understand that he regrets it but the fact that he did it illustrates a great double standard and the problem with race relations in this country. That is I believe many if not most whites (at least conservative whites) either are or at least try to be color blind. The fact that someone who might be conservative and black voted for an obviously extreme left wing nut like Obama makes one wonder if race relations are 180 degrees of 50 years ago. That is many blacks are racist and many whites are not. Just an observation base on current events.

      BTW – I’m glad he sees his mistake and wish others would too. His words about Hussein destroying the country are right on target. The issue is, liberalism has never and will never work. It can‘t and if you are too dumb to know that you shouldn’t be voting. Shame on those who enslave people by teaching them to dependants. That is truly a cruel and evil thing to do.       When it (the troll) mention Glenn being an alcoholic, I posted a list of celebrity drunks, leaving out one important name. One name I included was truther Charlie Sheen. Taking the bait, the troll said I was right to ‘equate’ Glenn with Sheen–to try regaining the upper hand.

      I then added that last name in another response thusly: “Ted Kennedy (murderer)”.

      Not once did I address the troll, but wrote to the original poster.

      The trolls seek validation and find it in arguing. And they’re just not worth the energy.

      They just seem to change names I have seen the digglebags (spelled wrong I am sure) avatar on three different accounts. Each time one name is run off they seem to come back with a new persona. Good idea but most are collage kids with lots of tech savy, tons of time, even intelligences just not a drop of real world experiences and zero WISDOM. Like a typical fool just pat them on the head and let them be.       But you see what you just said above?

      It’s not your place to create or impose any policies that YOU might think are best for me, or any other “average” American.

      I don’t want to tell you what to do with your money. I want you to keep as much of it as possible. Give as absolutely little of it as possible to the gov.

      Then you go give to whoever or whatever you want, as much as you want, to your hearts content.

      I just spent most of yesterday afternoon arguing with a troll — never tried talking to one before, and I never had such a weird and pointless discussion. Might-makes-right, survival-of-the-fittest, it-didn’t-work-this-time-but-next-time-we’ll-get-it-right, and the guy seemed to believe that he’d be one of the enlightened elites who would immune to the bloodbath when the revolution came. Just bizarre…
