Blaze Exclusive: Glenn‘s Thoughts From Back Stage Before ’Restoring Courage’ Speech

I managed to get a few minutes backstage as Glenn prepares to deliver his speech at the main Restoring Courage event.
“I don’t want to screw it up, ” he said with a tone more of humility than any hesitance, “I want to make sure I hit the right tone.”
He describes the speech as a “game changer” for him and says he believes, “Those who are supposed to hear it will hear it.”

Please take total confidence that it is not your words, but the Holy Spirits that will be heard.
You cannot screw it up as long as you are being obedient to the Lord’s leading.
You can lead them to water, but only HE can inspire them to drink.
So regardless of how it is -or perhaps isn’t- accepted (and I am praying for a miracle), know that God’s will is being done in accordance with HIS timing.. Planting seeds is every bit as important as harvesting plants and the Lord would not have led you to this if He hadn’t plans to lead you (and others) through it to an eventual postive outcome.
Remember when John (3:30) said, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”?
When it seems/feels we’ve hit a wall, if we‘ve been in the center of God’s will, it is merely a God showing how He will make ALL things good for those who love him and are called in accordance with HIS purpose. Just as you should not be discouraged if the reaction is not what you’d hoped for, also know that if it IS or even better, that also was not your doing, with the exception of you being a good servant of the One to Whom All Glory and Honor Belong.
Saw this little one line prayer that I now pray will assist/comfort/strengthen you
The One to whom all glory and honor belong, in whose Spirit I trust! O My God, you have given your servant the mantle of authority that he may glorify You.

Does that come from a good place? I‘m pretty sure it doesn’t. Even if you don’t think that Mormons believe in the same God as you. They still be believe in God. They are trying to be good people. They are nice. I can bet that those of you who are writing all of these hateful things about Mormons don’t really know one. If you did you would know that they are nice people who are trying to do good in the world. If you are really a “TRUE CHRISTIAN” as you say you are maybe you might want to start acting like one, and do some of the things that He does in the bible. Like serve others, and not look down on people. Oh, and be forgiving of other peoples mistakes. Do you remember this one “ FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US” otherwise we are just hypocrites, and I’m pretty sure that Jesus spoke about people like them in the Bible too. Oh, and you might want to start using that Bible for good instead of using it to curse others. I’m pretty sure we want to leave the judging up to God. I’m doing what Jesus, Paul, James, and all the rest of the New Testament believers did when they spoke out against the false religious system and its leaders who were leading people astray in their time. I’m concerned for Glenn and all of his followers. Mormonism is just the newest version of works-righteousness religion. We are sinners who have to totally rely on the mercy and grace of God. Mormonism teaches that although we are sinners, we could actually becomes gods! That is complete blasphemy. There is only one God, and he will not share his glory with another. We need to be praying that Glenn comes out of that cult and leads others out as well.

The Lord may in fact be leading Glenn to the true foundations of faith.
Remember he was not always a Mormon, thus he may in fact know the real Jesus.
As long as we are honoring God, praying to the God Whom we KNOW is Truth,
we are fine. Nothing Glenn has done encourages anyone to step OUTSIDE the boundaries
of the true word and if he ever does, it’s your spiritual responsibility to not do it.
If, because of Glenn, you’ve been falling to your knees more and your relationship with Jesus
is more intimate, and you are reading and applying scripture to your everyday life,
you will be given discernment.
Instead of running FROM Glenn, why can’t we do as we do with the pagan ways of Israel and the USA? Embrace him with the Love of God and Let God manifest that love in His timing and in HIS way. Again, the key is to be grounded in the Word and in YOUR relationship with the Savior.

Mormons believe in and worship Jesus of Nazareth, who is the Christ. We worship and pray to the Father, in Jesus’ name, just as the mortal Messiah taught us. You obviously do not know much about Mormonism at all. We do not believe that anything was created out of nothing (ex nihilo). This includes not just the world, but also the spirits of mankind. Jesus Christ is an uncreated being who was God before, during, and after his mortal ministry, and like the Father, is God from everlasting to everlasting (D&C 20:17). Christ, in Mormonism, is the Creator, who under the direction of the Father, created from existing matter the whole universe, and it is through his merits mankind can be saved. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Universe.

Galatians 1:8- we were warned of Joseph Smith and his “restored gospel”. Seek out truth. The Bible is full of the Trinity- read it! I urge you to lay aside the Book of Mormon and stick with the Bible- it is truth! Google the Book of Mormon vs the Bible and then watch the video. If you are thinking that you are going to earn your way into heaven, then you have missed the whole point as to why Jesus came. He came to save that which could not possibly save itself. We must be perfect as the Father is perfect and none of us can come even close to that. Our thoughts and our deeds are stained with sin. God became a man though, and took our punishment for us and gave us HIS righteousness. We are saved by grace through faith and not by works. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Mormonism teaches that we are not saved by grace alone, but by our works as well. Don‘t take my word for it or Glenn’s or the LDS church, but read the Bible.

The word for create then becomes Asa, meaning to create from something. You‘re proving my point which is that Mormonism doesn’t even line up with the first verse of the Bible, let alone the whole rest of it. Please do some research because your church isn’t teaching you this stuff. If they are wrong as to God creating ex-nihilo, then what does that tell you about how trustworthy they are when it comes to salvation and the nature of God? Well, I know Mormons believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. They teach that Jesus Christ created the earth. I would say THAT MAKES HIM GOD, enough said.
You are splitting hairs over DETAILS, over specifics, specifics that you know absolutely nothing about. You are pretending to know what the pre-earth life was like. The Bible is silent on that, so you really DON’T know. But you act like you DO know. You say what a Mormon teaches about it is false, but you don‘t have anything in the Bible that teaches it isn’t how they teach it is. You just don’t know.
Don’t pretend to say that you know God is not a man, an exalted man. Don’t pretend to know what His eternal past has been, or what He has been “doing” all those years. You just don’t know, because the Bible is silent on that. And so is the Book of Mormon. The scriptures don’t reveal all these details, so don‘t preach what is can NOT be when you don’t even know what it CAN be.
Jesus was a man in this world. He was God too. But He was a man who had power, power to walk on water, calm a sea, raise the dead and resurrect and ascend to heaven without a space ship. He had power. How come you try to LIMIT God to what he can or can not be, when we see the human/God Jesus not only BLED BLOOD on a cross, but had ALL the powers of God?

Mormon Jesus: became God just like you and me can become god. Think about that for a moment… one day, if we’re good enough we can have people worship us as their creator! Sure, we’ll be stealing glory from God, but, hey, he‘ll understand that since we’ve attained godhood, we’re his equal and deserving of worship… Does that scenario make sense? It’s the natural progression of what happens to a Mormon who follows all of the commandments. By the way, have you been able to keep all the commands? I’d guess not. Remember, Jesus said you had to be perfect as Father in heaven is perfect. The whole idea of man becoming God is the most blasphemous idea I can think of. I mean, how proud does a person have to be to think that they are going to be a god someday? It’s ridiculous. Isaiah makes it clear over, and over again that there is only one God. He‘s voicing the words we’ve believed in for many years. There is nothing new about his message. You claim to have no belief, why does Christianity vex you so? I have seen many comments from you about the “ignorant Christian God-believers,” but not a word about Islam god-believers.

He actually tells everyone to do their own searching for the truth (whatever that means to you). There are many different believes even within Christianity – hence so many different Christian churches. The beautiful thing about this country is that I can attend each and every one of them if I choose to! At least for now….

Thank You that You saved him from his alcoholism. Continue the work You are doing in his life. Thank You so much that he is willing to have an open life. I truly believe that You will lead him to another church when the time is right.
Now, for all of you who are bickering, who else is boldly telling us what is coming and what is really happening? We do not all need to believe everything he does. God saved him from his alcoholism and I believe He will take care of the rest! His arm is not shortened that He cannot save.

By making that statement, Glenn Beck, a Mormon, is laying claim to an inside track with god. He claims to know what god wants and furthermore, that god wants people to listen to Glenn Beck’s statements and believe them without question.
And you wonder why I and many others say “Beck is nuts.” He is clearly delusional.
