Blaze Exclusive Update: MSNBC Anchor Moderated CBC Panel Portraying Tea Party as Lynch Mob

MSNBC Anchor Tamron Hall Moderated Event Featuring Andre Carson Comments

Tamron Hall, who anchors MSNBC's daily program, 'NewsNation.'

Just a day after The Blaze exclusive story introduced controversial video of Indiana Rep. Andre Carson saying the Tea Party wanted to see him “hanging on a tree,” another possibly startling revelation is coming to light: an MSNBC anchor was there to witness it. But not only witness it, the anchor moderated that event.

Why is that important? Because Carson’s controversial comments were first brought to light Tuesday by The Blaze, not when they happened last Monday — and not by MSNBC or its anchor who was present.

So who was the anchor? You need only to listen to the audio again for your first clue. In it, Rep. Carson can be heard referencing “Tamron.” He says, “I’m sorry Tamron” as an aside during his tirade. Who’s Tamron? Thegrio.com fills in the blanks:

Miami’s town hall, which takes place at 6 p.m. at Mount Herman AME Church in Miami Gardens, was set to include several Caucus members, along with Don Graves, the Executive Director of the White House Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall will moderate.

Not surprisingly, Hall and MSNBC are taking heat from some conservative sites. And while there are several reasons for ignoring the comments (i.e. maybe logistics, maybe they had poor audio, or just got to it late), some see a more sinister possibility:

[One possibility is that] Tamron Hall understood the newsworthiness of the statement, but kept her mouth shut so as not to cast a negative light on Carson and the Congressional Black Caucus.

If this is the case, Tamron Hall has given up on being taken seriously as a news anchor and needs to move to the advocacy profession.  Perhaps a job at Think Progress or as a staffer for Rep. Carson is more suited to her abilities.  But she can’t be taken seriously as a news anchor at a major cable network if she willfully stays silent on a major story because she doesn’t want to harm her friends or ideological allies.

Remember, Ms. Hall does not anchor an opinion show in the “after 5:00 PM” window that her colleague Al Sharpton claims is reserved for non-journalists.  Ms. Hall is an anchor during the hours when MSNBC porports to be delivering the news to their viewers.  But, clearly not all the news, just the news that keeps their pals like Rep. Carson looking good.

But wait, there’s more.

What adds to the intrigue is that MSNBC did cover the CBC’s town hall meeting in Miami (and apparently had cameras at the event). And guess who it featured: a fiery Rep. Carson. But guess what it didn’t feature: Rep. Carson’s controversial statements. See for yourself:

I guess we can probably rule out bad audio, then. Intriguing, indeed, isn’t it?

    All I hear is the sound of progressivism dying as the government gravy train goes off the rails. They’re getting more extreme in their desperate bid for relevance but their black base is getting weary of rhetoric without solutions. Just my POV but I don’t think they merit attention.

      any Hoods or Rope.. These members of the Black Caucus are completely

Just like today there really isn’t a race problem, except on the edges of both sides. The rest of us are getting along fine right now…and will continue to. I guess too many in Washington forgot how many inter-racial marriages there have been in the past 50 years. Most Americans have Christmas dinners with lots of differnet colors of people from lots of different places. It doesn’t matter…we are all Americans – period.

      Brother, there are way more of us then there are of them. I worked for General Atomics for a few years and was disgusted by the policies regarding “quota’s”. Actually there were 6 Blacks in my section and we mysteriously were advanced ahead of at least 1 White guy who was more qualified based on more experience, and happened to also have seniority. I’m all for advancement, but I don’t want treated differently because of the color of my skin. That’s not equality, that’s favoritism for a stigma that has no place in professional life………..of any kind. What we do can cost peoples lives, and I know with working with those directly affected by our product, that they would appreciate the best guiding the tools we give them. 4 of us quit General Atomics because of that and went to work for a GA competitor. We’re not necessarily happy to report, but honestly report that some GA contracts now belong to us because the best minds in our field are directing the manufacture and deployment of our systems, not based on skin color, but on merit. Some of our leaders are White, some are Black. GIVE ME WHAT I EARN. That’s all I deserve. That’s all any of us have rights to, Black or White, Brown, Red, or Yell

      When I was a kid my dad took us down to listen to a Young Black Businessman’s meeting. Outside was some left wing guys (Black Panthers, and Citizen Soldiers) calling everyone who went in a Tom. I thought they were the scene and gave em a thumbs up. My dad slapped me so hard I thought I’d never get up. He stood over me and gave me a choice. He said I could either be a Black man with a brain and make something of myself, or, then pointed at the Panthers and CS, and gave me a second choice, be like these punks, just a slave in a chain. I chose the Douglas, and Dr. King way.

      I’m telling you brother, there are more of us then there are of them. I really like challenging Jesse “No Can Do” Jackson. He knew “nothing” about MLK, and immediately after Dr. Kings death, betrayed the Black Community. I like using his own words on abortion to get him unhinged.

      I’ve been to 4 Tea Party events… all of which David Webb spoke at… maybe the CBC might want to come to a Tea Party event – first of all, David Webb is black, educated, articulate and a Conservative. I’ve always seen a lot of black people, a lot of hispanics and some asian attendee’s at Tea Parties, all supporting, clapping and cheering, so the CBC had better drop the lies, fiery rhetoric and blame game, because they know nothing about the Tea Party or its members…

    Hmmm. Let’s see here. Miami town hall and Mt Herman (shouldn’t it be Hermon) AME Church. Is this not an integration of “church and state”? Doesn’t AME stand for African Methodist Episcopal?       My father works strictly as a Social Activist now. Along with many other members of the Black Community, and those Blacks who are finally starting to take on the mantel of personal responsibility while at the same time getting out of the blame game. I’m an Engineer (Computer Engineering) with secondary degree’s in PoliSci (focus on International Relations/job required) and Business. Opportunity is there for any who will simply DO! We talk with thousands of young Blacks in communities across the Country trying to remove the stigma of the phoney victim creed of the left. It’s deeply engrained and tough to remove when government is their with the slaves monthly check and free groceries. They’ve spent 100 years creating the new plantation. It’s taking time to get the slaves off that plantation.

      I believe that the majority of Americans, regardless of race, religious beliefs or voting party all want basically the same thing. A good life for ourselves and our children. I don’t care what skin color my neighbor has or if they go to church on Saturday or Sunday or not at all, as long as they are a good neighbor to me. Why have we allowed ourselves to be so divided?     This is how institutional racism takes root. Those within the given group ignore the racism within the group furthering their power. Pretty soon you’ve gone along by being silent….so when do you speak up against it and have any credibility?….most people won’t have the power to do so. I feel sorry for my country more and more. I stood the watch over it for 20 years and believed in what I was doing…protecting my country so that others could have a good life without being slaves to some country who would try to take us over….ie Russia and or China. Now I see the enemy is really us. We will undo our constitution and beliefs for the sake of the multiculture that is ripping this country apart.

      It always seemed odd to me that the very racial group who rioted in the streets for the cause of integration have ALWAYS self segregated on a personal and institutional level. I really don’t mind it, it makes no difference to me at all. Everybody has the right to associate with whomever they please, on whatever level. I just don’t understand why they struggled so long and hard not to take advantage(?) of the fruits of their labor. It’s perplexing.

      What I find particularly repugnant about these MSNBC operatives is that they know something damaging was said. They know something inappropriate was said but because it’s from someone on their side…they won’t report it and hope it never gets noticed.
      Don’t forget, MSNBC was the network that cropped a photo of a tea partier at a town hall who was carrying firearms (legal in his state). They cropped the photo to hide his race (the man was black) and then proceeded to manufacture entire stories about “racist and dangerous tea partiers” from it.

      Just as “Yellow Journalism” started the Spanish-American War, this “Blackout Journalism” will start the next Civil War, but instead of freeing the Black people and minorities we will be fighting them.

      Until the “Give Me” section of society understand and realize that the Dems and people of that ilk are only keeping them there so “They” can be in power nothing will change. When the “Give Me” section begin to be cut off then the riots will start and the next Civil War will begin. The have and have nots will be at odds like never before.
