Blaze Political Analyst Will Cain in Heated CNN Debate on AZ Sheriff Scandal

The Blaze’s Will Cain appeared on a CNN panel with LZ Granderson and Don Lemon Sunday to discuss the resignation of Mitt Romney’s Arizona Campaign Co-Chair Paul Babeu, who stepped down Saturday amidst a scandal involving allegations from a gay lover that the sheriff had threatened to deport him if he went public with their relationship. Babeu is seeking the GOP nomination for an Arizona Congressional seat. The sheriff stepped down from Romney’s campaign Saturday, denying the allegations but acknowledging that he is a gay man and will still run for Congress.
Cain called out Granderson Sunday for making comments that Cain believe generalized a hypocrisy in the GOP in regards to sexuality.
“I think these stories should be looked at as individual circumstances and judged as individual circumstances. LZ, by your own standard, I don’t know how you apply a broad generalization to an entire party. I don’t know how you can do that by your own standard,” Cain said.

Who gives a bleeping &^%& what sexual orientation this sheriff might have. Also your comment about right or wrong has no logic supporting it, are you seriously suggesting that this sheriff does not have the moral sentiment to judge between right or wrong because he is homosexual? All you “social conservatives” claim don’t tread on me, yet you are so quick to tread on homosexuals and their lifestyle. How is that conservative? How is discrimination and controlling other people’s lifestyle conservative? This is tyranny, not freedom. Let people live life they want to live it and you live life the way you want to live it. Posted on February 20, 2012 at 9:10amI am a Christian Conservative and I believe in the bible and that it is a sin to live that life style. According to the bible is it not a sin to have a sexual relationship outside of marriage, yet how many people hold jobs that have done this. My point is that we all sin, however when we let someone encourage others to commit these sins that’s when we need to draw the line. It sickens me when I see such hateful words towards a group of people, hate the sin not the sinner. We need to pray for these people, specially for the ones who are rapping our children and trying to get them to live their sinful lifestyle. It’s okay to hate this sin, but let’s be careful about hating people who commit sins like you and I . I know some of them go beyond what we consider small or normal sin and it‘s okay to hate that sin and call them out on it and to make sure they don’t harm others specially our children. http://www.brendasblog7.com/home-page

Posted on February 22, 2012 at 12:40amBree, gotta tell you, I‘m not sure I could count the acts of murder I have committed today in God’s eyes. If you are angry, you have already committed murder. My frustration level was low, so I angered easily. I murdered each of my children at least once today. Between the media and the politicians it was a slaughterfest. I‘m pretty sure I’m okay on adultery today because I haven‘t left my house and I don’t have TV. My point is, without the intercession of Christ, I would have been dead to God many times over in just one day. The wages of sin are death. The wages of a “small or normal” sin are not a little less death. Sin is sin and the penalty is equal. We all sin daily (some of us while shaking a fist at God in defiance). That’s why Jesus was necessary. I believe the only “unforgivable sin” would be unbelief (disbelief?). Rating sin leads to judgement. That‘s God’s job. I understand what you were saying, and I think we are saying much the same thing. We just need to tread cautiously when contemplating other people’s sins. My daughter wants me to french braid her hair, so I am off to commit even more murder. Don’t worry. I have been forgiven!

Posted on February 20, 2012 at 12:49pmRANGERP, I didn’t see the Sherriff going around doing gay rights and making any deal whatsoever that he was gay. If we want to talk about double standard, he is acting as human and normal as each and every gay man should, he didn’t flaunt it, he didn’t speak out for gay rights, he wasn’t trying to say gays should be able to use the term married, but he didn’t deny it or lie about it when confronted with allegations at the same time. So essentially we are going to be the hipocrites that throw a conservative (by all accounts) out of the “party” because he is different?
Here’s the bottom line. We all are with sin, he will have to deal with God on that when the day comes. In the meantime we have a Sherriff that actually does an outstanding job keeping our borders safe and his political views are in keeping this country safe and strong, and he isn‘t any kind of a special treatment advocate because I think he believes they aren’t deserved, either. Given as old as he is and how long he has been Sherriff and on TV and respected for what he does, I think he should do just fine.
Besides, I thought the Right was supposed to be the ones that weren’t prejudiced against things like this, just another person, right?

You make some scathing accusations about a broad swath of the population. Did you just not get Cain’s message from the article, or do you simply disagree with it?
I was surprised by Babeu’s explicit postings – not because of his homosexuality, but because it showed such profound ignorance in posting something like that when you’re a controversial figure involved in politics. (What went through his head?)
You call homosexuals perverts and child molesters. How do you explain Brian David Mitchell, who abducted and Elizabeth Smart? How about Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man who held his daughter as a captive in his basement for 24 years and had 7 children by her?
Report Post »One could go on and on, but the point is that there are ample examples of debauched behavior by heterosexuals to nullify any blanket, stereotyped notion that homosexuals are somehow morally evil.
You state, “Every nation in the history of the world that has accepted homosexuality as normal has soon their after crumbled.” Really? The Roman Empire “held on” for nearly 5 centuries (not counting the Republic). China had accepted homosexual rulers back as as far as the 16th and 11th centuries BC. I’m not claiming their longevity is due to homosexuality, but I think it safe to say that it didn’t foretell their collapse.

Posted on February 20, 2012 at 1:32amMy concern has always been the homosexuals themselves – some evidence:
Report Post »Medical researchers have known for many years that the “homosexual lifestyle” is a very disease-ridden lifestyle. What you and I might call a ‘filthy’ lifestyle as well as a deadly lifestyle.
In the Journal of the American Medical Association found that the anal cancer rate for homosexuals is way above normal, maybe as high as 50 times normal. And a 1997 New England Journal of Medicine study again drew attention to the “strong association between anal cancer and male homosexual contact.” (The reason for the connection is that the lining of the anus, as opposed to the much thicker lining of the ******, is only a single cell in thickness, tears easily, and thus is an easy point of entry for viruses and bacteria.)
Another study found that anorectal sepsis, a potentially toxic bacterial infection, is 4 times more common in homosexual than heterosexual men.
And a September 2010 report from the Centers for Disease Control titled “HIV among Gay, Bisexual and Other Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM)” noted: “Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) represent approximately 2% of the US population, yet are the population most severely affected by HIV and are the only risk group in which new HIV infections have been increasing steadily since the early 1990s. And according to a CDC report released in November 2009, 63% of syphilis cases in this country were found in ****/bisexuals in 200

There is neither comparisons nor similarities. Blacks are who they are because they were born that way. Gays were not, but chose that aberrant life style, and many choose to promote it as a special class. The only class they are is a special class that is bound for Hell on a train named FAST, but like everything else God gave man, He also gave him a free will, meaning people can choose to go to Hell. They do it every day. It will be the worst experience of their lifetime, worse still – it lasts for an eternity.
Gays can take their lifestyle and shove it where they shove everything else. Just don’t parade it around me, nor try to force either your lifestyle or agenda upon me, as you might find yourself eating something you don’t like. Plain and simple.

Posted on February 20, 2012 at 3:01amSWL, Your premise is wrong and therefore so are your conclusions. Not everyone believes people are born that way. The only so-called evidence to that theory is studies that are done by left leaning institutions looking to confirm their personal beliefs. I happen to believe as you do but I at least recognize the fact this is not a foregone conclusion to some. Your own prejudice is in believing your conclusion is the only one, much like a global warming advocate that stamps his feet and says the debate is over. No, it’s not. I would argue why I believe homosexuality is from birth, but to deny someone else their view, who can also argue why they believe otherwise, is just as destructive. I think this attitude is why debate on an issue becomes heated and uncivil. Understand many people do not endorse homosexual lifestyles but do not hate the homosexual – I don’t think that makes them bad people and I don’t think that makes them a bigot. There are true homophobic people in this world, don’t lessen its meaning by painting everyone who doesn’t agree with you in such harsh terms.

Posted on February 20, 2012 at 6:22amSorry, it’s not an apples to orange comparison. Premarital sex is not an ethnic group. It is an act, not a person. Obviously the poster did not come close to say or insinuate they do not approve of black people or the disabled. Not one study or experiment has proven a person is born with a sexual preference. Some show possible biological links to ones eventual sexual preference but nothing conclusive yet. And they stress that there are many non biological factors that lead to a persons eventual sexual choice. So saying they are born gay as though it was proven science is actually just your opinion. Science by consensus is pseudo science. Being gay is not the same as being a particular ethnicity, at least to reasonable people. It is a disservice to the gay community and civil rights movement to falsely classify them as an ethnicity or special group. They’re just people. And trying to force someone, who’s core values is that homosexuality is wrong, to not live and let live but to embrace it is clearly wrong. Ironically, it is not Christians and Jews who are trying to force others to embrace their lifestyle as is commonly portrayed in secular pop culture. We don’t have the thought police yet or do we?
