My dogs and cat don’t celebrate satanic holidays. Nor do my children. There’s enough encouragement to sin without inviting the devil into your life.

Do You Dress Up Your Dog for Halloween?
Heck no! But we do have shirts, sweaters, and coats for our little pug for when the weather calls for a little something to help with the weather.

We‘ve tried to get them to wear costumes but they don’t like things on their heads. Seamus wears his Cyclone jersey without any fuss but Finnegan outgrew his and we didn’t get a new one before the season started.
    Go Cyclones!

My pup likes to dress up…she doesn’t seem bothered by it at all. Probably because I started her as a puppy. There sure are a lot of curmudgeons on here!

No costumes for my dog. Never tried it but I tried to get him to wear a best during cold weather because he’s a Lab/basset mix and his belly is very low to the ground. I figured the vest would protect him from the snow and ice. I put it on him and I swear he lost his will to live. His short little legs slid out from underneath him and he wouldn’t move until I took it off.

Part of me wants to puke when I see people do that. I don’t like it. I don’t understand it. It seems like a desperate call for help. When I see it I immediately think the pet owner must be really lonely. And yet, part of me recognizes that the people who do that truly love their dogs and they are having fun with it. It’s not for me. But if you enjoy, then have fun. Just don’t expect everyone to understand and appreciate it the way you do. It’s sort of creepy.

Yes I must say I did dress up my dogs for Halloween. We would take
them around Trick or Treating and the neighbors would have them dog
treats instead of candy. I loved doing it and the animals complied, so I
am saying they did not feel tortured but probably would rather not have
done it.. Lots fo fun for me and my husband….

Although I must say the lion dog was pretty cool I do not dress up either of my dogs.

No I don’t. I don’t wear fuzzy slippers and a robe to Walmart either.

When I was at the vets office the other day, a woman who I had never seen in my life was showing me pictures of her dog, and her dressed in a scarecrow costume. It took everything that I had NOT to tell her how idiotic they looked.
