Boehner Addresses War on Women During Fiery Floor Speech: Give Me a Break This is Beneath Us

The GOP-controlled House of Representatives voted Friday to extend a $5.9 billion bill to maintain low interest rates for student loans. With cuts coming from Obamacare to pay for the House bill, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has spoken out against the measure and the White House has threatened to veto it if it were to somehow make it out of Congress. As President Obama has attacked Republicans on the issue during remarks at three college campuses in battleground states this week, Republican leadership blasted the president Friday for politicizing the issue.

“If the President was more interested in solving this problem than in hearing the sound of his own voice or the applause of college students, all he’d have to do is pick up the phone and work it out with Congress,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a statement to POLITICO. “We don’t want the interest rates on these loans to double in this economy. We don’t want today’s graduates to have to suffer any more than they already are as a result of this President’s failure to turn the economy around more than three years into office.”

House Speaker John Boehner took to the floor Friday, slamming the White House and Congressional Democrats for obstructing bipartisanship on issues such as student loans to women’s health.

“How in the world did we ever get here,” Boehner began, before blasting Democrats for picking a fight “over an issue that everyone knew was going to be resolved. A fight being picked over an issue that there is no fight over.”

“Nobody wants to see student loan interest rates go up,” Boehner went on to say. “Especially when you got recent college graduates– with fifty percent either unemployed or underemployed as a result of the president’s economic policies.”

“My god, do we have to fight about everything?” the Speaker said before moving on to tackle the left’s accusation of a GOP “war on women.”

Mediaite transcribed and cut Boehner‘s retort to the left allegedly politicizing women’s health Friday:

“Now, we‘re going to have a fight about women’s health. Give me a break. This the latest plank in the so-called ‘war on women,’ entirely created by my colleagues across the aisle for political gain. Let’s review the facts: The president, in his budget, called for reductions in spending in this slush fund that’s given to the Secretary of HHS. The President called for reductions in spending. He may have already forgotten that several months ago you all voted to cut $4 billion out of this slush fund when they passed the payroll tax credit bill. So to accuse us of wanting to gut women’s health is absolutely not true. Ladies and gentlemen, this is beneath us. This is beneath the dignity of this House and dignity of our constituents. They expect us to come here and to be honest with each other. To work out these issues. And to pick this big political fight where there is no fight is just silly. Give me a break.”

Somebody open the doors of the asylums and let all those feminist Democrats in. The term, “War on Women” is ludicrous. That’s right, it‘s so ridiculous it’s laughable. There’s never been a bigger pack of absolute fools than the present crop of feminists running amok in the Democrat party.

Of the fifteen leading causes of death in America: men lead in 12 categories, are tied in two with women, while women lead in only one category. Combat deaths are not on the CDC list, but homicides are number fifteen and suicides are number eleven. Both have death rates for males that are approximately four times higher than those for women. Industrial deaths are included with all other accidents. In America, there is an Office of Women’s Health at the federal level, and one each at the state and county levels in California and Los Angeles, respectively. There is no Office of Men’s Health in any of those places. Why? The list of sexist discrimination and oppression against men is much, much longer, but you get the idea. For more go to manamongoaks.com To see more about the present “War on Men” being waged by feminists in the Democrat party go to “Witch-Hunting Males” at Youtube.

Fighting for “reproductive freedom?” What does that mean? Are men charging them? No… The Republicans want to make condoms illegal? No… Do Republicans want to overturn Roe v Wade? Ya, some do, but it‘s very low on the list of priorities and it’s not going to happen any time soon anyways… So what does “fighting for reproductive freedom” mean? It just sounds like more dishonest Liberal propaganda to me; although I have to admit that it will probably work on the most dimwitted people and the clueless youth… people like you, Bern.
Boehner is wrong too. There is nothing beneath Pelosi and her comrades in the cabal.

Reproductive Freedom? Women and for that matter families are as free to reproduce or not reproduce as they have been for as long as I can remember. This was a set up from the beginning when George Stephanopoulos brought it up in one of the debates. I’m positive that question had been cooked up by a committee well in advance just to bring this whole war on women to the forefront. It’s another deflection in an attempt to take some heat off 0bama. He has no real successes to run on. This student loan interest hike was a set up from 2007. As written by Pelosi’s crew back then it was written to expire at this time so the Dems could use it to attack the Republicans. The House has written the bill to keep the interest reduction in place and it is going nowhere with the Senate and if it did 0bama would veto it. Naturally the liberal lap dogs known as the MSM will gladly blame the Republicans even though it is the Dems holding this up. They have already gone so far as to make it sound as though the interest increase will affect already existing loans, although it will not. The libs are shoveling the sh*t with a front loader.

I stole this comment is from another site. –

What is wrong with characterizing opposition to MSG as a “War on Asians” is that doing so fails to account for the intent of those who hold that position.” Do liberals think that GOP efforts to restrict women’s reproductive rights are intended to harm women? No. But that’s besides the point. Throughout history conquerers have attacked people not to harm or kill them, but to control them. During World War II the Germans attacked the French, but, for the most part, did not kill them. They wanted to control the french. And, in order to do so, they conducted a “War on the French.” Some French people were harmed or killed in the process. And so it is with some Republicans: they don’t want to kill or harm women, they want to control them, or at least their reproductive capacity. And, a few of them are willing to risk women’s lives for the sake of that control.

In the past four months alone, Republicans have introduced or passed 914 bills reducing women’s autonomy or attempting to annex their wombs. For instance, Joe Pitts (R-Pa.) recently intoduced the “Protect Life Act,” a provision that would have made it impossible for doctors to conduct an abortion if a woman’s life was in danger, even if the zygote, embryo, or fetus was not viable. If Republicans want to stop the “GOP is conducting a war against women” trope, they need to stop implementing legislation that endangers women’s autonomy, reproductive rights, an

Democrats wanted to pay for the lost revenue by reducing for tax subsidies oil companies who are making world record profits. Republicans want to pay for it by eliminating preventative health care, including mammograms and cervical cancer screening for women.

So it’s just a philosophical difference. Do we give the oil industry billions of dollars when they are already making record profits, or do we take health care away from people who couldn’t otherwise afford it, especially women. Difference of opinion that’s all.

Eliminating health care resources for poor women isn’t a “war on women” it’s only a way to make sure oil company executive get million dollar bonuses.

It’s not about whether they care, it’s about driving a wedge between the groups. You can not conquer and army as large as the United States without first taking away it’s national pride and then dividing the people into groups in order to pit them against one another.

Notice the tactics, rich vs poor, white vs black, white vs hispanic, union vs non union, all vs christians and women vs men.

By dividing the United States of America the progressive socialist will be able to destroy the Republic.

All the white Christians have done over the pass 150 years is free the slaves, made it legal for women to vote, given everyone the equal opportunity for the pursuit of happiness.

What have we received in return?

We are called racist. We are accused of going to war against women. We are the reason why people who don’t work are poor. We are polluting the planet. We only care about success and wealth.

It is amazing how the progressive socialist have managed to rewrite history in order to blame the white Christians for all that is wrong with America.

No wonder our founding fathers left Europe to find a new home.
Christians continue to be accused of everything that is wrong with the world.

I believe there is scripture supporting this for the end of days. We should remember what we are told of in the Bible. The end is near.

Besides it is pretty hard to blame Obama for the slow economy when it is a much improved economy from the one he inherited; and Boehner’s led House ha done very little since 2010. Raise taxes on your rich friends to pay for it.

SAME OLD STORY! The inheritor of the Great Depression is Obama’s hero in so many ways, but guess what! Roosevelt had little effect on the economy of his time; heck, he might have increased the issues! However, since he was so unfortunate as to go to war, jobs opened up and the economy stabilized. Not all of what he did was poor, but a pretty good bit was not helpful.

One bit that many do look at is the tax on the wealthy! Well, do you think the war came at a good time for that to show profit?

But your biggest lie is that 0bama has improved the economy. Yeah, four to five buck a gallon gas, which causes everything that is shipped, which is simply everything that is consumed by the public, to increase in price. Of course the Speaker is lying through his teeth. The first piece of legislation the House took up under the GOP has a direct assault on the Right to Choice, not jobs, not bedt but an assault on the rights of Women. Same goes for the GOP controlled State Houses. In Wisconsin Walker signed a bill making A-Okay to discriminate against women in pay rates.

The facts dismiss to the lies of the the Speaker.

Not quite given the personhood laws passed by several GOP controlled states that would out law most forms of birth control. Also, the issue was employor’s insurance plans covering it, not tax payer funded. Of course Beckerheads are great at repeating talking points their masters tell them to say.

Excuse me, but that’s a bunch of BS Encinom. First off, it‘s none of your employers business what you’re doing in your bed, so why should they have to cover anything at all through insurance for their employees? 2nd, if you gave women a choice between $3000.00 worth of contraceptives vs making a monthly check worth $3000.00, which one do you think they’d be more willing to have?

Anyone that has ever dealt with women at any age will tell you, Women love making money more than being bothered to have sex repetitively. You can pay your bills and do things you wish with a $3000 check. The only way you’re paying for the same with contraceptives is…well…yeah.

Lastly, Taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize some tramp with her backside in the air, just because she wants to do it…a lot. While it‘s waving around like it just don’t care, she should ask the one behind her to pay her way for her.

assuming Encinom is male….why for the love of Pete is he is so obsessed with something that chemically or physically affects only female sex organs? What man wakes up in the morning asking the question “Gosh let me see….what kind of intrauterine device or estrogen based hormone can i rant about today?” I don‘t care what women do with their uterus’s or the associated regions of their hinterlands…..all i ask as a male member of this society is that you girls keep those parts fresh and clean…..and the last time I checked…most of that “freshen up” related stuff is located in a drug or grocery store aisle…..freely available over the counter so to speak. Just keep it clean girls….and the rest of this conversation falls naturally into place. I will always stand up for your rights to keep it clean and fresh. All that “inside part” tweaking you want us all to pay for and therefore take part in….I’m sorry…that’s on you. Tell the guy to wear a condom if you worry so much about not reproducing or the prevention of disease. Condoms cost what? 50 Cents? Between the 2 of you you don’t have two quarters to rub together? Then maybe you shouldn’t be rubbing anything together at all just yet. You keep it clean girls….and all the boys will make sure you get to make any other choice you want…when when it comes to your Y.

This is for Apple Bite: Women use birth control for many reasons. I, myself, am experiencing peri-menopause and I take it to manage uncontrolled bleeding and very painful cramps. The medicine costs about 45 dollars a month and I’m able to handle that cost (I can’t afford health insurance so I have to pay out of pocket for everything, god help me if I get really sick, I will just have to die I guess). Anyway, I can imagine that there are some women who are so poor that 45 dollars could be a huge problem for them. We need to try to “walk a mile in another man’s shoes” from time to time.

@Moonbat….I love you dear…..but you are confusing reproductive rights with some other female hormonal or physical condition. There is not one scintilla of genuine evidence that any Republican of any gender or stripe has an end goal or intention of preventing a proper and healthy stop to your ******* or uterine bleeding. Your bleeding or any other woman’s bleeding….poor or rich. The coincidental use of what are also birth control hormone based compounds to treat your condition is a non sequitur. Republicans do not want anyone to bleed profusely much less bleed to death. Since you brought up the fairly yucky things that can happen to women…now it’s my Man turn….I currently have a hemorrhoid…and it too is bleeding. Not once today have I considered asking anyone else on this planet to pay for my Preparation H….and my butt has just as many rights as the northern portion and spread of any woman’s ranch.

Once upon a time, all people were Conservatives. Then one day, one representative was having an impossible time explaining this philosophy and way of life, so much so, they came up with a “simple” language that anyone could understand, no matter their level of education or cultural background.

When this representative realized how many wanted to hear these speeches because it made citizens feel good to understand “simple” language, they forgot about explaining Conservatism and forged their own Party, the Left. And from there on end, it was a Party devoted to “simple” principles.

But then one day, the promises made were not kept and the citizens attempted to defect. The speakers of the Left took this very personally, a big bruise to their ego. So they said to the defectors, “How dare you leave my anus after I’ve invited you in?” And then, the fear of defection from the Left was born, and as of today, it is the basic motivation for one to adhere to their group mentality.

Who do you think controls the govt? Corporations and their lobbyists have the Dems and GOP in their pockets. Both parties are busy blaming each other for the effects of globalization. Beck is an entertainer with the richest Americans pulling his strings. You my friend seem to be their useful idiot. I liked President Bush as a man and a President but totally disagreed with him on many issues. I looked at obama with an open mind and waited to see how long it would take for me to embrace or reject his policies. Too bad that the word ‘flip flop’ was so overused with senator Kerry because obama is the master of FLIP FLOP. I have yet to see anything that makes me feel he is engaged in this country or is he just going thru the motions. He’s an angry half white and half black man and I can’t tell which half is the most angry. His arrogance is without merit. You have to actually accomplish something to claim credit for it. He blames President Bush for everything until it’s to his benefit. He is a dishonest man and such a disappointment to the American People. Don’t know what this election will show but if it’s an honest election, he’ll lose, big time. We can only hope.
