Boehner: ‘Americans Haven’t Experienced the Change President Obama Promised’

“In the final days of the 2008 campaign, Barack Obama promised to ‘change this country and change the world.‘ Well I don’t know about the world, but here at home, Americans haven’t experienced the change President Obama promised. One in ten of our fellow citizens is out of work. Our national debt has grown by $3 trillon. Trust in government has fallen to an all-time low. These probelms didn’t start under President Obama. But instead of fixing them, his policies have made them worse.”

Mr. Boehner I believe is a very honorable man and I also believe he walks like he talks. Obama has talked a lot but does not seem to walk the walk with his cammpaign promises. Just the Moslem idea that a moslem can lie to its enemies to get what they want. As Obama is a moslem perhaps he was just lying to us to get what he wanted. Now that he is in the White House we have not seen this so called working across the aisle or move to center. Instead is merely move far Left as he pursues a radical agenda to transform America into a world socialist state while spreading what wealth has left to other parts of the world. Ultimately our country would be doomed. On 2 November its OUR time to speak and this time he will have to for the first time listen to us.
2 November is our day to make things right again. Hope everyone will be there.

Mr. Boehner is a good man and I believe somebody we can believe in. Barack Obama has hoodwinked and swindled the American public into believing in. Now the truth comes out, he simply lied to us and he continues to lie to us. Obama is a socialist plain and simple Anybody who does any research at all will realize plans for America are so far left its scary. He wants to put the Constitution given to us by our forefathers in some locked cabinet and forget about it He wants to rewrite how America does business here and abroad. This systematic disassembling of America‘s value’s and priniciples will turn us into a Word Socialist State. Spreading the wealth around means people who have worked all their life must give it to people who have not worked all their life. This is one of the main ideas of socialism/communism. And on top of that he wants to also share what wealth America has with other countries as well. This of course will eventually turn us in to a country of serfs and make us no better than a 3rd world country. The end of America as we know it to be. This flim flam man will do all the dirty dealing he can to achieve this goal if we let him get away with it. A real wolf in sheep’s clothing and the time to start stopping him is now. Right now. On 2 November American will have the chance to throw a wrench into the works of this harbinger of death that would take it all away from us. We must stop him now, and in 2012 it will be our last chance to put a conservative Patriot into office and turn this country around in the right direction. America MUST vote and vote to win. God bless this Christian Nation.

Here are eight of the biggest myths that are out there:

    1) President Obama tripled the deficit.
Reality: Bush’s last budget had a $1.416 trillion deficit. Obama’s first budget reduced that to $1.29 trillion.

    2) President Obama raised taxes, which hurt the economy.
Reality: Obama cut taxes. 40% of the “stimulus” was wasted on tax cuts which only create debt, which is why it was so much less effective than it could have been.

    3) President Obama bailed out the banks.
Reality: While many people conflate the “stimulus” with the bank bailouts, the bank bailouts were requested by President Bush and his Treasury Secretary, former Goldman Sachs CEO Henry Paulson. (Paulson also wanted the bailouts to be “non-reviewable by any court or any agency.”) The bailouts passed and began before the 2008 election of President Obama.

    4) The stimulus didn’t work.
Reality: The stimulus worked, but was not enough. In fact, according to the Congressional Budget Office, the stimulus raised employment by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million jobs.

    5) Businesses will hire if they get tax cuts.
Reality: A business hires the right number of employees to meet demand. Having extra cash does not cause a business to hire, but a business that has a demand for what it does will find the money to hire. Businesses want customers, not tax cuts.

    6) Health care reform costs $1 trillion.
Reality: The health care reform reduces government deficits by $138 billion.

    7) Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, is “going broke,” people live longer, fewer workers per retiree, etc.
Reality: Social Security has run a surplus since it began, has a trust fund in the trillions, is completely sound for at least 25 more years and cannot legally borrow so cannot contribute to the deficit (compare that to the military budget!) Life expectancy is only longer because fewer babies die; people who reach 65 live about the same number of years as they used to.

    8) Government spending takes money out of the economy.
Reality: Government is We, the People and the money it spends is on We, the People. Many people do not know that it is government that builds the roads, airports, ports, courts, schools and other things that are the soil in which business thrives. Many people think that all government spending is on “welfare” and “foreign aid” when that is only a small part of the government’s budget.

The Dems took over both houses in 2006 so your first three rbutals are incorrect. Then came obama with his social justice redistributive agenda in which he hoped to take over the transportation, banking, exchange, health and energy industry. This congress has given legislative power to executive agencies so agencies like EPA can now tax the air we breath. All CO2 does is let plants make more oxygen. This administration has done nothing but add and dole out government jobs while real people lose jobs, homes, and go on welfare. The people see this and know it is nothing less than madness and they are committed for as many election cycles as it take to end it.

13THGENERATIONAMERICAN, you seem like an intelligent sort, you can put a sentence together and use the computer well, you really need to do more research concerning your post. Don’t believe everything you hear, do your own investigating. My ancestors came over and landed on Plymouth Rock but that doesn’t make me smarter than most people on this site – not even close. I don’t know how old you are, obviously, but you must remember how you felt growing up with parents telling you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, etc. And in school, teachers telling you what to do, how to do it and when to do it, etc. Perhaps there was something else you would rather do, or you could do better, or wanted to do at another time, but your opinion didn’t count. If things don’t change soon you will be living your childhood over again as an adult. Most people on this site want the freedom to make their own choices, to work hard and make as much money as they can and to keep as much of it as they can – and they want everyone else to be able to do the same thing – not just here but people anywhere. Roads have always been built, schools have always been built and business’ and products have always been started by people with the freedom to choose. Good luck and God bless.

      Remember January 3, 2007

…… I don‘t understand WHY the people running for office don’t say this in their ads!!!

The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009 it was actually January 3, 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, the start of the 110th Congress.

The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:

January 3, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:
      At the time:

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

      The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

      Remember the day.

January 3, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over as Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

      BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

Thank Congress for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment to this CRISIS by dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco’s!

(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting in 2001, because it was financially risky for the U.S. economy, but no one was listening).

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA.

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie??? OBAMA and the Democratic Congress.

So when someone tries to blame Bush…
REMEMBER JANUARY 3, 2007…. THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!”

Bush may have been in the car, but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving. Set the record straight on Bush!

So, as you listen to all the commercials and media from the Democrats who are now distancing themselves from their voting record and their party, remember how they didn‘t listen to you when you said you didn’t want all the bailouts, you didn’t want the health care bill, you didn’t want cap and trade, you didn‘t want them to continue spending money we don’t have.

I’m not forgetting their complicity in getting us into this mess, and I’ll be marking my vote accordingly!

I own a small business. Has been a heck of a ride these last 4 years w/ the Dems running things in Congress. Add that Obama and his advisors (only 8% have any real business experience) are absolutely clueless as to how an economy works. You can read all the books you want. It isn’t until you have real life experience in our very dynamic economy. Want to know the reason why CBO (congressional budget office is off on its numbers)? They can only estimate based on static numbers. They cannot calculate our dymanic system. In other words, they cannot come close in guaging what the people will do in response to a piece of massive legislation. So Obama is finally giving small business. That is what the stimulus should have been for. For the small businessperson. We create 75% or so of all new jobs. We were thrown maybe .5% of the $700+ billion stimulus. His hopes were that we ceases to exist. Any legislation for any industry always makes it hard for the small guy. The big companies have economies of scale. We don’t. It is his intent to eliminate the small ones. He figures, I am a dictator. We have these massive companies. Get rid of the rest. It is easier to control a few large ones in every industry than a bunch of small too. I told a friend of mine. We have to be afraid of BIG GOV’T, BIG CORPS, and BIG UNIONS. Time to get rid of the Federal Reserve Bank Act of 1913. Repeal both the 16th and 17 amendments to the Constitution. I suggest everyone really spend sometime research those. As much as possible.

She even laughed at what her father-in-law called her, a flaming liberal. She explained that she worked at a chamber of commerce. I forget what city and State it was. It was there she woke up. She saw all of the new regulations and the impact it was having on the small business that made this chamber up. She found conservatism without even having to look for it. One more for our side. Now she trying to pass her experiences onto her young friends. I wish her the best of luck. I have a similar story. I woke up by accident too. However, mine was more serious. I was being escorted out of a judges chambers by a sherriff deputy (no I wasn’t arrested). It was for family division. I was told that if my attitude didn’t change before the next time I was there. I would be placed into jail, then a halfway house. Why, you ask……because I was struggling to support 2 housholds for my son. I had taken and early withdraw from my retirement to save my business. I was a little behind on support. The courts froze my assets. Needless to say, just about everything went down hill from there. What a cluster BLEEP. At the time I was coaching my son’s 6th grade basketball team. I won’t go on any further.

@dracothedragon In some states, even if the woman makes 10 million a year and you are unemployed, she can make you pay support. Family courts across the country are biased against men. I was pro-choice until I realized that men actually have no choice at all. Now I am pro-life and support overturning Roe v. Wade. It’s not right for women to be able to “choose” and kill a man’s baby or “choose” to have a baby and put a man on the hook for support when the man has no say in the decision either way. I feel your pain. Keep on truckin.

      @Freedom of Speech

Have heard too many stories of men sent to the cleaners by lawers and ex-spouses because the courts are full of activist judges who figure the man needs to be broken across the board. One of the maintance workers where I live at has just paid the courts the last child support needed, he busted his tail off with an extra job to make the payments ahead for the total owed to his girls majority.

Yesterday he found out his ex is trying to sue him for more child support upon the basis that if he could pay it off early, he has the money to pay her even more in support.

Understand, any parent failing on purpose to support their child(ren) in my book is lower than slime under a rock. A lot of times these courts just go too far.
