NEW YORK (AP) — Yes, it is possible: Bill O’Reilly is getting bolder and fresher.
The author and host of Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” has signed with New York-based Henry Holt and Co. to write a sequel to his best-selling memoir “A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity.”
Holt announced Monday that “Bolder and Fresher: The Factor Years“ will come out in the fall of 2012 and will offer fans ”a behind-the-scenes look at their favorite TV show” along with O‘Reilly’s views on politics and culture.
O’Reilly has already committed to a second book this fall, “Killing Lincoln: The Assassination that Changed America Forever.” That book also is coming from Holt.

In all the years. I have never seen Bill defend so many Left Statements. Now that statement is the True No Spin Zone.

We feel he has the viewers because of his time slot..only.
in fact we have gotten to where we don’t watch his show past the talking points.

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:39pmO’Reilly was great several years ago before he started selling books. I think he started pulling his punches in order to sell more. He’s like the politicians who are always “reaching across the aisle.” There’a a reason, and it’s always money.

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 4:30pmAs a long time O’Reilly fan, I think that he has tried to change the format of his show, because so many thought he was to confrontational, and to much of an attack dog. He’s had to worry about security for years. Maybe he is just tired of being so controversial as to have death threats all the time? He does a lot of good charity work, and though I swore if he EVER had Al Sharpton on The Factor I’d never watch him again, our TV is always tuned into the Factor each night. Remember folks Bill O’Reilly is NOT a Republican. He is a registered Independent. I don’t like his interupting folks and not letting them speak, but some of them I wish would just ship up anyway, like Alan Combs.

I would say O’Reilly is center-center right on MOST issues. He is your typical northern moderate. Staunchly Catholic/ anti-abortion he will not make many hard stands on any other issues. I can understand your dislike of him and that is okay. But he is far from being a liberal, or even a blue dog…

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:35pmGlad to hear this! I am listening to the book now, and it is a refreshing, side-splitting memoir of a different time. I grew up in NY, and can identify with many of the anecdotes. Plus, the way O’Reilly reads his own words is full of his patented sarcasm, excitement and gusto. Now, why won’t Glenn Beck read his own books?

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:17pmWow how can anybody not watch Bill. He‘s one of the few people who is still honest and isn’t completely in the tank for Obama. O’Reilly is a realist and there is nothing wrong with that. I love watching the factor, although I don’t agree with everything that Bill says as some of the things that he talks about is giving way too much power to the govt. One of these days Glenn will convince him but I doubt it.

But when he asks a guest a question, and then cuts them off or demeans (example Mary Kathryn Hamm) and doesn’t let them answer, it disgusts me…except Colmes. He’s a perennial over the top lefty. Got to hand it to FOX for all the babes though…O’reilly featuring them works.

Posted on March 15, 2011 at 7:33pmThe last Sarah Palin interview comes to my mind. When he was very rude to her and kept talking over her, then later he claimed he had heard all that before. Surely she probably heard that question before also, and was not willing to change her opinion for Bill O‘Reilly just because he didn’t want that answer! If he didn’t want to hear it, he shouldn’t have ask. He most always tries to play gotcha with Palin.

“Without a shred of proof?” So I guess the 2 Obama birth announcements O’Reilly found in 2 separate Hawaiian papers are just part of the “vast right wing conspiracy”? No wonder the Left finds it so easy to mock those of us on the right. I suppose you also believe 9/11 was an inside job and that we never landed on the moon? There are several reasons to be at odds with Obama. This is not one of them.

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:12pmWhat I find absurd about your comment is that regardless of what O’reilly says or believes, you are going to stop watching the entire network?????? Sounds like you won’t have much left to watch except the Cartoon Network. And by the way, I happen to agree with the birthers for the most part… Anybody can place birth notices in newspapers (even false ones) with enough of a bribe and long range planning, so that part doesn’t prove anything to me. I personally think Obama is the virtual definition of “conspiracy.” … one that goes WAY back. And, the “certificates” Hawaii issued as proof are the same ones issued to parents of kids born overseas. Obama’s very first Executive order was one that officially prohibited release of any of his personal records… how suspicious is that? Anyway, good luck finding a network (cable or otherwise) that only espouses your views, all the time.

Posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:38pmO’Reilly is a blowhard…
That said, I still enjoy his show and his perspective. Many of y’all hate him because he is not “conservative” enough, I have even heard some call him a “RINO” which is just plain ignorant as he is not even a registered Republican…He does not try to hide who he is, or how he feels about issues. I find his perspective to at least be informative and something to think about even though I rarely agree with him and always seem to be on the side of Stossle, the Judge, Megayn Kelly or any of the other conservatives he has on. But you have to admit that he gives the left wing guests hell too. He has a way of getting to the meat of the issue, though I do agree that he also has a certain naivete about him…Kind of the old “baseball, apple pie, and mom” 50′s mentality that the president is always a patriot and the US will always triumph…He is looking out for the common guy BS…That side is irritating and it really comes out in his books. Bold Fresh was almost unreadable because of his sheer arrogance…
Ah well…He is what he is, I do not make any of these folks “heroes.” Some are more astute than others…I almost always agree with Krauthammer, I like Stossle’s view though he is not realistic…And Colmes is the biggest idiot alive…Beck eats O‘Reilly’s lunch…But they are all entertaining…And that is all really ask of any of them…

When he on numerous occasions calls himself a humble man, I cringe because he obviously is just the opposite. He was really good at his job in his prime, but seems to have lost his edge and sense of fairness recently. His interview with Obama was tepid and fawning for the most part.
