‘Brace Yourself’: Video Captures Occupy St. Louis Protesters Being Schooled on How to ‘Get Arrested’

Occupy St. Louis held a brief seminar on the logistics of getting arrested Friday, ahead of their expected evictions from the Missouri park where they had gathered.
City officials had ordered the park’s nighttime curfew be enforced Friday night, after previously allowing protesters to camp there overnight. Police officers ultimately arrested 27 protesters after midnight Saturday while others left willingly, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
But before that, protesters gathered for a few quick tips about what to do when taken into custody. Among the lessons, captured on video, were to remove belts and shoestrings, keep an ID, and make sure names and emergency contact information were written on the group bulletin board before the main event.
Also, don’t go in with a full bladder.
“If you have to use the bathroom, use the bathroom NOW,” one leader suggests on the video.
“If you use it [in jail] you might vomit,” another says.

After hitting some of the finer points, it was time to strategize.
“I think now we wanna talk about how we gonna get ourselves arrested,” one leader says to a few laughs.
Another suggests ways to maximize media coverage:
“The news media up here is going to be able to capture more of whatever winds up happening, whatever that is, if we’re up higher in the amphitheater.”
According to the Post-Dispatch, the events Friday night and Saturday morning were noisy but peaceful.
Protester Don Waltman, of Monroe, La., praised the actions and professionalism of the police officers involved.
“They done their jobs. They done it to a T. And we didn’t get in their way,” he told the newspaper. “Man, we got publicity. That’s what everyone wanted,” he said.

This is exactly their intent……..to overwhelm the police, the courts, the “system”…..to collapse the judicial system. The intent of OWS is to put the nail in the coffin on the banking & financial system. Obama corrupting the three branches of government by advancing numerous executive orders is collapsing the constitutional, republican system. Bottom line to destroy every fabric of America’s history and way of life. Sadly, it may be too late to save this country. Even if a constitutional conservative is elected, the progs will continue to tie up the court systems challenging every step of the way. What really frightens me is what all the czars are doing behind the scenes that no one is really paying attention to. Especially since the media has no intention of doing their jobs and we are all focused on the barrage of insane headlines they are feeding us to frustrate us and keep us distracted daily..

They gathered and protested with no objective+ a spinning top. They have since been stuck and mired in radical progressive platforms=gross gender, radical envirnonmentalist, welfare state. Their top is ready to stop spinning and chaos among the occupiers is imminent. Their agenda left the majority and is now so braodly radical that even the minority of radicals can’t agree and we now have the every man for himself thing going on. The violence is increasing and this movement is going to stop and we will be left with several little movements.

Prisons are overcrowded, but having to clean up the mess will make some think twice about the mess they have left thinking that the taxpayers will clean it up. I was too busy working, raising kids, volunteering at school and worrying about how to pay my bills to spend a lot of time hoping to get arrested. Working on city boards and PTA boards and voting always filled any empty time on my hands.
