Obama White House Announces New Press Secretary

Jay Carney, Vice President Joe Biden’s communications director, is expected to be named White House Press Secretary “late this afternoon or more likely Friday,” CNN’s Ed Henry tweeted Thursday. Carney will replace Robert Gibbs who announced he would be leaving earlier this month.

A “senior Dem source” told Henry that the job was “totally lined up” for Carney before Obama named Bill Daley as his new chief of staff, and that Daley had proceeded to consider additional candidates, prolonging the appointment process.

In addition to acting as head of the vice president’s communications team, Carney previously served as Washington bureau chief at Time magazine.

    Honestly, do any of you think that someone with any real moral values, self-worth or love for the America we once knew would be hired on to do that job?
    Sure, there are plenty of people out there who could competantly do the job, but the Administration needs a whipping boy to tell their lies and push their agenda with a straight face.

    There is a LOT that you do not know about this man Carney. Better do your homework. He was with SEIU, is a far, far left radical in so many ways it would make you pass out from a stroke. Think Van Jones kind of radical on steroids. Think UNION. Think anti-capitalist pigs and communism. All documented, all public knowledge. Funny how they did not mention any of that.
    Google him. Google Court case, SEIU and Carney. There are many videos and papers…better take a look at who is in the White House.
    There is a plan going on here and it is being carried out before your eyes. It is horriffic to me that Congress is doing absolutely nothing and allowing Obama to systemitacally ruin and take this country down. There is more going on here than you are aware of. Carney also is against all public information getting to or ever reaching the American people. Think Hugo Chavez.
    I could not begin to make this stuff up. I am a Freelance Writer and as such, I have a little more information than the average person and a lot of databases.

      Carney was and still is SEIU. Read my post. The White House is now almost full of Union Officials. Two more appointed by Obama ( bypassed Congress) just two weeks ago and Andy Stern is already there and has been since last year. Good old Andy is NOT gone as they are telling you.       I told one of the progressives here at my apartments that Olbermann had agreed to work with Fox news and became a full fledge member of the Republican committee now; for some reason I keep forgetting to wear my earplugs.

      I remember him on ABC’s This Week, and IMHO he’s pretty reasonable. He seemed to have an understanding of complex issues and he knows how to, uhm, you know, …let me just say this – he can answer a question.
