Bristol Palin Pays $172,000 in Cash for Arizona Home

MARICOPA, Ariz. (AP) — Bristol Palin has bought a home south of Phoenix.
Paperwork shows Sarah Palin’s daughter, a recent “Dancing With the Stars” participant, is the sole purchaser of the five-bedroom house in the town of Maricopa. She bought it for $172,000 from a North Dakota couple.
It’s not clear if Bristol Palin will be a seasonal visitor or a permanent resident at the home.
According to real estate websites, the house is a two-level, brown stucco with a tile roof and a landscaped front and back yard. It doesn’t have its own swimming pool, but there is a community pool.
The Arizona Republic reports the 3,900-square-foot home was built in 2006. It has 2½ baths and a three-car garage.

Also pretty strange that Levi would allow her to move out of state with the boy unless Alaska laws are totally different but then many things there are totally strange. I think we are number 3 in the worst housing markets so I hope she got a good deal. AND yes, this is news? Oh well at least barry boy is out vacationing.

I think it’s a momma grizzly move for 2012. The Palin family will have a 2nd home not so far away from the action (lower 48) and close to a major airline hub (Phoenix).
She must beware tho that if “fraud in the foreclosure” is proved, the house goes back to the original owner. I’m not sure how the buyer comes out. There is a lot of fraud in foreclosures.
