Bristol Palin Gets Own Reality Show — Will Move in With Two Men

Bristol Palin Gets Own Reality Show Will Move in With Two Men

NEW YORK (AP/THE BLAZE) — The Bio Channel is giving Bristol Palin a reality series. EW.com jokingly notes, “it’s Teen Mom: The Bristol Palin Edition.”

The network said Monday that Palin will star in a 10-episode series. She is the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and a former contestant on “Dancing With the Stars.”

The new series will follow her move from Alaska to Los Angeles with her son, Tripp, to work at a small charity.

The single mom will live with actor brothers Kyle and Christopher Massey. The network says Kyle Massey is a fellow “Dancing” contestant and good friend.

Besides reality TV, the 20-year-old Palin has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars as a spokeswoman working to prevent teen pregnancy.

Her as-yet-untitled series is slated to air in late 2011.

Hey, whatever she wants to do….. I won‘t be watching this since I don’t watch “reality TV” anyway. I have a life, thank you very much. I don’t need to live vicariously through some bit of fluff on a cable channel.

Anyhoo, the Bolts are gearing up to beat the Bruins and the Rays are doing pretty good so far this season. That’s all the reality TV I need. :)

I think Bristol has a very cool future in TV and she has got a large following. She has proven to be a tougher person then people give her credit for and I applaud her for moving on with her life. It is like anything else in life, if you do not like the show go to some other channel, find something else to watch.

They are just attacking her like they do her mother. The women are the worst. I think Sarah Palin did a good job raising her daughter, the girl made a bad choice, but decided to keep the baby. Bristol is not walking around dressed like a slut(and they seem to be proud of it) like most of the girls in this country. She hasn’t had a dozen abortions. She respects others, unlike a lot of the girls in the lower forty-eight. Her sex life is her business, shes over eighteen. She supports herself and her baby, good for her, most girls would have an abortion or leave the baby with their mothers. I think those here are jealous that the girl stood up against ALL of their vile, mean and nasty remarks.

Well, we know what all the pundits on MSNBC will be ‘discussing’ with panels every night if this silly show airs. Imagine–a whole Larry O’Donnell hour dedicated to a minute-by-minute recap of Bristol’s latest episode, with ‘intelligent enlightening critique’ from among the panelists.

I don‘t know what’s more pitiful here–Bristol having a show like this or what MSNBC types will do with it.

Goodness, the girl was a teenage mother and has become somewhat famous simply because her mother was in the limelight, she has become an advocate against teenage pregnancy, helped the DWTS ratings go through the roof, and well on her way to being financially independent. What a loser this girl is. Sure would hate to have her life….

Nobody’s asking the government to intervene. We’re talking about having some kind of behavioral standards that are enforced through societal disapproval. Does anybody think that a single woman moving in with two men — dragging along a toddler who will be confused by it all — is a good idea or sets any kind of example? Sheesh.

I generally hate irresponsible choices made that fall on the backs of other people who do things the right way! Now, at least Bristol has a family that can take care of her and her child, but, if she was the typical urban, south side Chicago city dweller, where would she be? Leeching off us, that is where! She should not be congradulated for her POOR decisions! Her lifestyle, along with the many others are a poor reflection on the moral compass of this once great country!

We all make bad life choices. I have a feeling Bristol would not be the typical teen mom living off the public dole, in fact it would be the opposite. I think Bristol made a mistake but she has done everything right since then. She did not abort, she took responsibility for the kid. Her family is not taking care of her, she is doing that on her own. She has had that family support and that is what I would think you want. I think 100% she should be congratulated for what she has accomplished since the birth of her kid. She made a mistake if ya want to call it that and she has done everything exactly opposite of what you describe. And you still rip her. She has made a small fortune and hopefully her story is helping other young girls. She is not moving in with 2 men for sex and partying.

COMPLETE HOME? So she should marry at 20 years old because she has a baby with a bad choice for a father. Right. Some of you people here will suffer for your judgements later. I’m sure of that. Maybe your own virginal daughters will have a baby “out of wedlock” or move in with two guys etc etc. Maybe Ms. Palin has grown up in the last few years, she appears to be taking care of her baby(didn’t abort it)yet still living her YOUNG life. Sarah Palin is pro-life not NO LIFE, that would be the pro-abortion people here.

If this were not publicized to maximize the “shock value” profit potential, it would be no-one’s business, and outside of our criticism.
      Buuuuut!
Instead she makes a spectacle of her infant son and forces her ‘modernist morality’ down my throat to make a few pieces of silver.

Bristol is an adult. She should be able to pursue whatever career she wants. If she ever runs for public office, feel free to criticize her but until that happens, keep your disparaging remarks to yourself.
Kyle Massey is a great guy and I’m looking forward to her show. She’s going to be working for a small charity .

Bristol is capable of making her own choices, and as far as I can see she has done nothing dishonorable, illegal or in bad taste.

If it wasn’t for her Mom being tapped for VP, she would have been another number! The crazy thing is people make poor choices daily and have to deal with the consequences, they don’t have the luxury of having TV shows made about them. Mass Media, DWTS and viewers made Bristol into this sensation, and by the way extremly rich. Bottomline is if you do not like the stuff on TV, do not watch it, don’t support the Entertainment machine that created this. They call it reality but what is real about getting paid to tell your story? If your are worried about “the message” this show is going to say or not say, then I worry about “US” and how we can let a TV show dictate or run our lives.
