Tax documents show unwed mother Bristol Palin earned more than $262,000 for her role in helping raise awareness for teen pregnancy prevention in 2009.

Bristol Palin was 18 when she was appointed as a teen ambassador for the New York-based foundation in 2009, months after giving birth to son, Tripp. She and the 2-year-old boy’s father, Levi Johnston, are no longer together.

Palin, who still works for the foundation, told The Associated Press last year that girls would think twice about having sex if they knew how tough it is to be a mother. She said she “wasn’t prepared at all” for the dramatic changes in her life since becoming a mom.

“I don‘t think anyone realizes how difficult it really is until you actually have a screaming baby in your arms and you’re up all night,” Palin said.

When she was first named to the ambassador role, Palin said in a statement she felt she could be a living example of the consequences of teen pregnancy.

“If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment,” she said at the time.

    each paid at least $40,000, and some paid over $100,000,

    I have never felt sorry for Bristol Palin either…..she made a decision that led to her pregnancy and then a decision to go to an abortion mill and have the baby slaughtered in her womb. There are always consequences to any decision……however, as the tried-and-true Progressive that you are, you try to poo-poo any financial sucess that she has by portraying her earnings as an affront to the “middle class workers” who are having their wages dropped and finding themselves homeless……do you realize the earning power of those who are in the Abortion Industrial Complex??? Or are you simply offended when Conservatives earn money?? Especially when it doesn’t concern the slaughter of nearly a million children a year in this country?

She’s never had a job, yet she can fly around the country with her mom and hire nanny‘s to take care of her kid when she’s not there. How many single teenage moms do you know that were able to put down a 6 figure cash down payment on a new house? It’s pathetic.

    Of course, The Left will excoriate her for actually making money doing the spots for the teen pregnancy prevention group but I say, more than likely her efforts did ten times more good than what she got paid.     Good for her she was helping others in her situation and not condoning it but showing it‘s not all that some make it out to be it is a life changer and you have to be ready to be held accountable to the child you bring into this world the child didn’t have a say in the matter but she did and she did the right thing and still is and earning her own money and not living off mom and dad and not taking handouts and she has a wonderful family unit that people who say hateful things are jealouse the Palin Family are Blessed.I wish Bristol and her baby and the whole family only good things and they are always in my prayers.

    I’ve never felt sorry for Bristol for being a single mother. She chose to remain single and she’s helped raise her younger brother and sisters… she’s no stranger to crying babies.
    This whole crocodile tears while being showered in money is ridiculous and an insult to those of us who did get an education and did avoid pregnancy… especially at a time when middle class workers are having their wages dropped and finding themselves homeless.

      So, it’s not at that young age you were so virtuous, it’s just as in your own words “you avoided geting pregnant”, Well good for you, I would bet that 90% of the brides standing at the alter have had pre-marital sex and managed to as you say “avoid getting pregnant”, it just so happened that Bristol Palin wasn’t that lucky.
      That’s the only thing all you holier than tho types have over Bristol, you were lucky. I’m a 67 years old male, and if every pre-marital encounter that I‘ve had in my life ended in pregnancy I’d have to have been a professional basketball player to pay the child support.

      Its not her tax documents, its the foundation’s. Also those same documents show the foundation only gave $35,000 to organizations to combate teen parenthood. They gave 6x that amount to a knocked teen mom with a famous last name to raise funds.

Very few single moms are getting anywhere near what she has made, so it would be a boon for the economy if she could teach unwed mothers how to make a quarter million a year. What’s her secret?       Amazing how the liberal lemmings are so threatened by the Palins that all they can do is coil up and rattle and spew vitriol when ever one of the Palins is mentioned.

      It would have been so easy for Bristol to have aborted this sweet little guy, especially with her Mom in such a high profile position, and no one would have known about him. Instead, the whole Palin family stepped up and welcomed this baby with open arms.

      As usual, Gail you are spot on! As a self made person I guess I admire entrepreneurs who risk total failure to make something of themselves all on their own. This is America and very few high school dropouts, for example succeed. But the greatest successes do not need to bother with high school or college degrees because they defy convention with excellence. I think John Gault was a dropout, and Bill Gates did not complete college, so why not Miss Bristol start making her earning before being educated?       What I find most hypocritic­al and ironic is that this girl got paid this much for speaking about something she obviously knew nothing about…Abstinence. She is just like her mom. She is cashing in.       I do hope others will listen before it is too late. The saddest thing I see is girls having one child then another. I worked at a clinic where girls could go to be checked and have a ultra sound….sadly, I consuled with girls that did not learn the first time.
