Bristol Palin: My Mom Has Decided Whether or Not She Will Run for President

Bristol Palin was on Fox & Friends this morning promoting her new memoir, “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.” The interview featured the rehashing of some old news, like the relationship between her and Levi Johnston, but also included some startling news: she said her mother “definitely knows” whether or not she’s going to run for president.
“We’ve talked about it before,” the 20-year old said. However, she wouldn’t offer any clues about the answer: “some things just need to stay in the family.”
Bristol’s answer comes as rumors of a possible Sarah Palin run are once again on the rise. As The Hill notes, the elder Palin will be in Iowa this week to screen her new movie:
That’s a provocative answer, especially as Sarah Palin heads to Iowa Tuesday, the key 2012 stomping ground for Republican candidates, for a screening of a biopic about her, ‘The Undefeated.’
Reports had circulated that Sarah Palin would meet with key Republican officials in the state during her visit, but SarahPAC, the former governor’s political action committee, issued a statement disputing that (along with usual backlash toward the media).

Report Post »I personally believe Sarah is an outstanding woman and has accomplished quite a bit in her life. However, she is not “Presidential”. You cannot resign your greatest qualifying job before the end of your term. She owed a full term to those who elected her Governor of Alaska when the Vice-president candidacy did not work out. There is no explanation short of being permanently bedridden that will suffice to explain that away. She will never be considered an acceptable candidate for President to anyone with some common sense.

He WILL be running (my state of TX) — will announce in August at a prayer and fasting deal he’ll be at that people are having fits over – LOL!!!! It’ll probably be her on the Blaze then. It’s fully constitutional and all but the nonbelievers are having fits. Always been a fan of Palin too & won’t be surprised if she gets in, sooner or later. I love Bachmann too and Cain – but only Palin and Perry have good records as Governors and I think a Governor makes the best Presidents – plus the charisma, etc. they have. Then Bachmann & the rest could have good, authoritative positions also that will help….NO RINO’S!!

Were I her, I would likely choose to keep on doing what she is doing now. She is extremely good at it, and we need people who can rally the troops, and draw the fire away from other people. She can definitely do that.
