Bristol Palin’s New Reality Show Pulled from Primetime

Bristol Palin’s new reality TV show has been yanked from its primetime spot after just two weeks due to poor viewership, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Lifetime’s “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” will now run Tuesdays at 11 p.m. The network will air reruns of “Dance Moms” in its original 10 p.m. slot.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Life’s a Trip” pulled in just 726,000 viewers for its premiere and fell to 586,000 in its second week.

As The Blaze reported in February, Lifetime ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the show chronicling the lives of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s eldest daughter and her young son.

    So Snooki Palin fell flat on her face! What a shock! That whole family needs to just go away! Now that things are going bad why doesn’t Snooki Palin just quit the TV show like her mother did as Gov. of Alaska!

      Why do u call her Snooki? She is not SOLICITING or pitching ideas to make herself a star. (but even if she was, millions of people are in Hollywood right now trying to do the same thing). They come to her. She deserves to be treated and respected as an individual human being. I quite admire her. It took an unbelievable courage and faith to go on Dancing WIth the Stars. I think she was fabulous. She had a plethora of haters for no other reason than these uneducated morons don’t like her mother.

      The timing was terrible tvland season to launch a new show. May I remind you it took Seinfeld several years b4 it became a breakout success. He was just very lucky to have Brandon Tartikoff who believed in him and the show regardless of the dismal ratings.

      All reality shows are at saturation point. Networks love them b/c they are so cheap to make.

      Now remind me again, what was it Bristol did to you personally for you to make such tawdry comments about her?

      You compare Seinfeld to that piece of junk she calls a TV show? Tell me when did a minor TV network push Seinfeld back to 11:00 until they use up all the episodes that they have already paid for…..then they will cancel her!

      I find it hard to believe that poor Bristol was just sitting at home just minding her own business and these TV networks came begging her to be a part of the show! She is a publicity w_ _ _ e just like her mother!!!

      If I am decoding your comments accurately….Seinfeld didn’t go to 10:00 until the reruns were running for many many years. It was in prime time when it was new. Snooki’s show got pushed back to 11:00 after 2 episodes. I am pretty sure her show is dead!

      I did mention several times that Snooki’s show did not get canceled (yet) but pushed back to 11:00! I have nothing against the capitalistic system….I do however really dislike the Palin brood. And apparently, based on the ratings of her show, you are apparently one of the few who do find the Palin’s interesting.

      Personally I’m sorry for her. Her ex Levi is pure gutter sleaze in my opinion. I‘m not sure what’s going on with her except that she’s being advised to make as much money as she can out of undeserved celebrity, or notoriety, which I think is a more apt description. She‘s following the Kardashian strategy but she’s ill-suited to it.

      My advice? Which is worth nothing I admit. Lay low, get a degree and then become a CPA or lawyer or nurse or something that will provide you with long term employment. Don’t thrust yourself into the news for ratings, give it up, lay low, and make a life some other way. Levi is slime, but you’re not looking much better the way you are trying to leverage your ill-gotten celebrity.

    One other point Bristol obviously got the show because she was Sarah Palin’s daughter, but Chelsea Clinton got her job because she was Bill and Hillary’s daughter. I wonder how long she will last. The last I heard she wasn’t doing to hot. NBC is obviously a lot more patient with her and than Lifetime was with Bristol, but then again NBC must have money to burn look how MSNBC has been on the air.

    She gave it a shot but it didn’t work out. I give her credit for trying. However, I don’t think she did herself any favors by doing the show. She made herself a target. She needs to back to Alaska go to college or go to work and raise her son. She is young and immature, but that’s not surprising most young women at that age are. To Bristol I say stay away from Hollywood and the media. Remember too living well is the best revenge.
    I do also wonder about the ratings though.(726,000 viewers) she did beat out the viewership of CNN AND MSNBC. (Something else for the the libs whine about.)

Not sure I see how any of that makes for great tv viewing. I think we have plenty of entitlement tv kids now with Kardashians, Hiltons, Jerseys etc… Is it too much to request that we start asking some of these youngsters to maybe have a talent or, interesting life experience or at least a well developed personality before we just through celebrity at them??? Maybe I just don’t fit in anymore, because simple logic and common sense just aren’t anymore!
